The Spiritual Temperature of Connecticut and New England

The Secular, Liberal, Socialistic Hartford Courant ran a front page story earlier last year, declaring with some glee that "Many of Us Are Unsure About God."The Hartford Courant is well known for its liberal slant and anti-biblical bias. This front page story was not placed there by accident. It was placed smack dab on the front page to move forward a secular agenda here in Connecticut. A national poll released in June of last year by the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life shows that New England States were the most reprobate of all the United States. The Hartford Courant's poll conducted on their web site after this story was released confirms such a result about Connecticut and the Courant's readers. Although the facts are true, there is a deeper meaning. Polls usually serve one purpose. That purpose is to manufacture a story, create news and move an action line. In this case, the front page results were used to move the agenda (which is to continually remove Almighty God and His absolutes out of the Public Square) and to push for a secular, socialistic, liberal state."

In the last 50 years Connecticut has become one of the most liberal and socialistic states in the union, along with our New England neighbors and as a result we have been reaping the social consequence for decades. Under such conditions this environment is a perfect breeding ground for Connecticut's residents to have such a Godless outlook. Expect 2009 to surpass last years secular, godless, liberal agenda and to "snow ball" as this new year progresses. Look out Believers of the Bible and of Almighty God, Conservatives and those of you who dare challenge the State's liberal status quo. You better believe they are going to becoming after us and our freedoms.

New England at one time was a beacon of light in the founding of this nation. Bible Truths, Absolutes and Morality dominated and help contain the fallen nature of man. They helped to establish this great nation. . Our faith upon God and His Word gave great liberty and hope to individuals, and sent the message to the Monarchical powers at the time: "That all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights"

As time passed, Almighty God and Biblical Absolutes were gradually abandoned and replaced with with Human Reason and Humanistic Philosophy, Darwinian Evolution and Freudian Psychology, Godless Secularism and Political Correctness, and Religion without Rightness. So here we have arrived, at a point in this long declension, and thus declared by this front page story. Also mentioned in the piece was that among the majority of the polled, Ecumenicalism (i.e., seeking to achieve unity by diluting or deleting truth) was sought as the means of salvation along with a socialistic and liberal view of Christianity. However, Jesus said, Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. ( Matthew 7:13,14)

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)

Bible believing Christians know and experience all too often the Bible rejecting attitude that is prevalent in this state and practically all of New England. It exists in our “mainstream” Media, Newspapers, Politicians and yes, even so-called "Churches." Satan's main goal is to destroy the Brilliant Light of The Glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ, God's Word and Witness, Moral Absolutes, etc., and replace it with his own godless system. It seems today as if he has already accomplished it.

Jesus said, Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 5:13-16)

May it be our passion and desire today to allow Almighty God's Word and Absolutes to burn mightily in our hearts that our lives would be a burning light to those in Connecticut, New England and The World that many in these last days would come to know the God of Truth. Thy Kingdom Come! Even so come Lord Jesus!!! (Revelation 22:20)

The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!
