The Passover Moon and The Fullness Of Time

From my house tonight at dust the Passover moon arose in the east and what a beautiful sight it truly was! It was on a night like this almost 2000 years ago that the Messiah looked in the sky and saw this same moon in its fullness and brightness. The Messiah at this moment was fully aware what awaited Him (Isa. 53, Dan. 9:26, Matt. 20:17-20) and as the fullness of the Passover moon it was now the fullness of time to be the Passover Lamb for the transgressions of the whole world (Isa. 53, John 1:29, Rom. 3:23-26, 1 Cor. 5:7, Heb. 10:5-12, 1 Peter 1:19, 1 John 4:10).

The Messiah at this moment was fully aware what awaited Him and as the fullness of the Passover moon it was now the fullness of time to be the Passover lamb for the transgressions of the whole world.

Passover starts at sundown and always falls on the same date in the Jewish calendar for this Day is based on a lunar calendar. The Jewish calendar is set up to keep Jewish Feast Days at the same season of the year and the same phase of the moon; Passover will always begin on a full moon in the spring.

This Passover may Almighty God open your hearts and minds to the wondrous TRUTHS of the fulfillment of the Passover, Good Wednesday (the day Messiah's of Crucifixion) and Resurrection Sunday. At this Feast Day may you see Jesus (salvation) Messiah, the Savior of the world as you never saw Him before! The key to understanding the Holy Scriptures is to allow the Holy Spirit to show you them through the Jewish eyes and perspective which is based on Biblical truth (Isa. 53, Dan. 9:26, Luke 24:24-27, John 1:29, 5:39,14:26, 15:26, 16:13, Heb. 10:5-12).

The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!

  1. Amen. But I'm trying to understand the Lord's crucifixion on Wednesday? I can understand Thursday and not Friday, but wouldn't Wednesday to Sunday make it four days?

We have to think from a Jewish perspective on this matter and not from a western point of view.

The Jewish Day began at 6:00 pm not a 12 midnight as ours does.

Jesus stated that He would be in the heart of the earth 3 days and nights (3 24 hour days) - Matt. 12:39.

Wednesday just before 6:00pm he was buried and three days later rose. Sunday began our Saturday night at 6:00 pm so He could have been resurrected any time after 6:00pm on Sat, which is the Jewish Sunday.

I'll post a chart under this post.

    Thanks for your replies!

  4. Ahh... Well happy Good Wednesday indeed! I knew the Jewish day begins at 6pm, but I was including Sunday in the western sense! Thanks David and "for sure." Maranatha!
