The Father's Love (Memorial) - Unto the Chief Musician Music Song Devotional

THE FATHER’S LOVE (MEMORIAL)

SONG DEVOTIONAL

Beloved, for us who belong to Jesus, death is not the ETERNAL end; it is but the doorway into His glorious presence FOREVERMORE. Though life on earth passes quickly, God's ETERNAL faithfulness never fails. Every joy, every trial, and every step of our pilgrim journey has been perfectly guided by our loving Heavenly Father. Now, at that time of our death, the child of God stands perfect and complete in the presence of Jesus, where sorrow, pain, and death have no more power.

This song reminds those who remain not to grieve without hope, for our separation is only for a little while. Because Jesus died and rose again, all who place their trust in Him have the sure promise of resurrection and ETERNAL life. One day, the Lord Himself will return in the clouds for His bride, and we will be together with our redeemed loved ones and our precious Jesus FOREVER! Until that day comes, we must by faith joyfully rest in our Father's unfailing agape love and rejoice in the hope knowing that one day we will see our precious Jesus face to face.

In the Presence of Their King - Unto the Chief Musician Music Song Devotional

IN THE PRESENCE OF THEIR KING!

SONG DEVOTIONAL

Beloved, the day is coming when our precious Lord Jesus Christ will reign as King over all the earth for a thousand years in truth and RIGHTEOUSNESS. Every promise our Heavenly Father has ever spoken concerning His Son will be fulfilled exactly as He has declared during this time. Israel will indeed know her Messiah, at this time after centuries of rebellion, and the redeemed remnant of the gentile nations will come up to Jerusalem to worship the King of the Jews!

During Jesus' glorious Kingdom reign, His peace will replace war, His RIGHTEOUSNESS will fill the earth, and the people of every nation will seek the wisdom and ways of the Lord. Songs of praise will rise continually to our great King, for the Lamb who was slain is absolutely worthy to receive all honor, glory, and praise now and FOREVER, amen.

What a joyful day that will be! Every sorrow will give way to rejoicing as God's Kingdom is established just as the Scriptures have promised. The King of kings will dwell among His people, and the earth will indeed behold His wonders and His glory.

Can you see it by faith, beloved? Our ETERNAL hope is ETERNALLY certain because our Heavenly Father will always keep His Word. One day we will stand in the presence of our King, in our new glorified bodies as His glorified church! Singing with overflowing joy to our precious Lamb and reigning with Him for a thousand years! O the wonders of the precious truths and promises of our Jesus; they are glorious, marvellous to the ear that will hear! Even so come Lord Jesus!

Trust in the Lord - Unto the Chief Musician Music Song Devotional

TRUST IN THE LORD

SONG DEVOTIONAL

Beloved, our Heavenly Father lovingly calls His children to trust in Him with all their hearts. Even when we cannot understand His ways, we can rest in His ETERNAL perfect wisdom, faithfulness, and agape love. His plans are always ETERNALLY higher than ours, His ways are always truth, and He is always working all things together for good for our ETERNAL good for His ETERNAL glory.

Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds us not to lean on our own understanding but to acknowledge our Heavenly Father in every area of our pilgrim life. As we faithfully abide in Jesus Christ, our Good Shepherd, He will strengthen us, faithfully guide our steps, and produce His fruit and RIGHTEOUS attributes in our lives for all the world to see (John 15:1–9).

Beloved, our Heavenly Father is continually at work within us, shaping our hearts to become more like His dear and precious Son (Philippians 2:13). Even the difficult seasons are not wasted. He faithfully works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

Beloved, as we learn to trust our Faithful Shepherd day by day, our fears give way to peace, our doubts to confidence, and our hearts find a stability and rest in His unfailing ETERNAL promises. On our pilgrim journey home, our Faithful Shepherd is always worthy of our trust and obedience. Fear not, dear child, and trust in the Lord!

PRAYER

Dear Heavenly Father,

Teach me, dear Lord, to faithfully abide in my precious Savior each day, trusting that You are working in my heart and guiding every step according to Your perfect will. Strengthen my faith when I cannot see the path ahead, and remind me that You are always working for Your glory and my ETERNAL good.

Your Narrow Road - Unto the Chief Musician Music Song Devotional

YOUR NARROW ROAD

SONG DEVOTIONAL

Beloved, Jesus our Faithful Shepherd lovingly calls His flock to walk with Him and to be led by Him on the narrow road of this pilgrim life. Though this road is often marked by trials, discipline, sacrifice, and sorrow, it is also the only path that leads to true EVERLASTING freedom, lasting joy, and Heaven's ETERNAL home. The broad demonic road of this fallen world excludes Almighty God and His ETERNAL RIGHTEOUSNESS and deceptively promises temporary pleasures, fulfillment, and false contentment, but ends in ETERNAL ruin, judgment, and destruction. Our precious Jesus' narrow road is founded upon the unchanging realities of Almighty God's ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS character and His ETERNAL truth (Matthew 7:13–14). To follow our precious Shepherd and His narrow road throughout this pilgrim life is indeed to find true liberation in His RIGHTEOUSNESS!

As our Good Shepherd, Jesus never asks us to walk alone. He goes before us, calling us by name, leading us with His voice, sustaining us by His grace, and keeping us in His ETERNAL agape love (John 10:3–4, 27–28). Every step He ordains is for our good, conforming us more and more into His image (Romans 8:28–29). Even through valleys of sorrow, seasons of testing, and burdens too heavy for our own strength, our precious Shepherd remains always faithful. His rod and His staff always comfort us, His promises always will sustain and uphold us, and His Spirit continually empowers and encourages us to continue walking by faith, fighting the good fight and seeking to manifest Him wherever we are led.

One day our narrow road journey will be completed, our faith will become a wondrous sight, every tear will be ETERNALLY wiped away, and we will dwell FOREVER with our Redeeming Shepherd in perfect righteousness. O beloved, how glorious is that wondrous reality! However, until that ETERNAL glorious day, we joyfully and willingly follow our precious Jesus, knowing that He Himself is our ETERNAL hope, joy, agape love, and our very life!

"For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their Shepherd, and He will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes." Revelation 7:17 (ESV)

REFLECTION QUESTIONS

  1. Am I listening daily for the voice of my Good Shepherd through His Word or to the world and its media?

  2. Are there areas in my walk where I am tempted to leave Jesus' narrow path for the world's easier roads?

  3. How have God's trials and discipline strengthened my faith and produced greater Christlikeness on Jesus' narrow road?

  4. In what practical ways can I encourage someone else to remain faithful on the narrow road this week?

PRAYER

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for sending Your beloved Son, the Good Shepherd, to lovingly lead me on the narrow road that leads to life. Thank You that Your ways are always righteous, true, and perfect, even when the path is difficult to understand. Teach me to trust You more deeply and to gladly follow wherever You lead.

Fear Thou Not - Unto the Chief Musician Music Song Devotional

FEAR THOU NOT

SONG DEVOTIONAL

Beloved, death is the king of all fears, and fear entered into this world after the fall of Adam and Eve because they transgressed and sinned against the ETERNAL RIGHTEOUSNESS of Almighty God. Throughout all of the Holy Scriptures, God lovingly calls His people who are oppressed by the many fears of this fallen world to place all of their trust and hope in Him rather than in the false systems, false saviors, and false solutions of this demonically inverted fallen world. Again and again, the Almighty God says to His redeemed, "Fear thou not." His wondrous command is never empty or vain in its declaration; this command is always accompanied by Almighty God's ETERNAL presence, His ETERNAL promises, and His ETERNAL perfect agape love. It is by childlike faith in the ETERNAL integrity of Almighty God that we can begin to overcome this fallen world's demonic dreads, phobias, and fears.

Whether Joshua stood at the edge of the Promised Land, Isaiah proclaimed God's comfort to Israel, or John fell before the glorified risen Christ on Patmos, the message remained the same: "Fear thou not, for I am with you." (Joshua 1:9; Isaiah 41:10; Revelation 1:17–18). Beloved, our courage is not found in ourselves or in the vain strawmen of this fallen age, but rather in the ETERNAL Lord of glory who dwells in us, walks before us, stands beside us, and holds our ETERNAL future in His ETERNAL sovereign, glorified, nail-pierced hands! How liberating is that, beloved!

Because Jesus died, rose again, and now lives FOREVERMORE, fear no longer has the final word. Our ETERNALLY risen Savior FOREVER holds the keys of death and Hades, and nothing can or will EVER separate His children from His ETERNAL agape love. As we fix our eyes upon Jesus by childlike faith, our fear gives way to wondrous freedom, peace, and ETERNAL hope! Fear thou not, beloved, for our ETERNAL God is our ETERNAL victory!

KEY SCRIPTURES

  • Joshua 1:9
  • Psalm 23:4
  • Isaiah 41:10
  • Isaiah 43:1–2
  • Matthew 14:27
  • John 14:27
  • Romans 8:38–39
  • 2 Timothy 1:7
  • Hebrews 13:5–6
  • Revelation 1:17–18

REFLECTION QUESTIONS

  1. What fears am I holding that I need to surrender to the Lord?

  2. How does God's ETERNAL presence give me courage to face this world's last days' challenges?

  3. Which of the 365 "fear not" promises from the Holy Scripture is encouraging my heart the most at this moment?

PRAYER

Heavenly Father,

Thank You that You are always with me. When fear rises within my heart, please help me to trust in all Your ETERNAL promises and rest in Your ETERNAL faithful presence. Fix my eyes on my Jesus, who has conquered sin, death, and the grave, and fill me with the courage and peace that come from walking by faith and trusting in You. Help me to remember each day, "Fear thou not, for I am with thee."

I ask these things in Your precious Name; Lord Jesus, even so come, Amen.

Anna's Hope - Unto the Chief Musician Music Song Devotional

ANNA’S HOPE

SONG DEVOTIONAL

Beloved, one of the most forgotten and overlooked individuals in all of Scripture is Anna of the tribe of Asher. Anna's long life was filled with sorrow, hope, and her continual faithfulness to the Lord. Widowed at a young age, Anna spent many years worshiping the Lord, fasting, and praying as she waited for the fulfillment of God's promises (Luke 2:36–38). Though kingdoms changed, generations passed, and her own strength faded, Anna's hope never rested in this fallen world, but always in her unchangeable faithful Lord and the coming of His Messiah.

Through it all, God had never forgotten Anna, for His ETERNAL presence was always with her. Every prayer Anna ever prayed was heard, every year of patiently waiting on Him was known, and every tear shed was absolutely precious to Him. In the perfect time and season, Anna's lifelong hope became reality as she looked upon the infant Jesus, the promised Savior of Israel. After a lifetime of faithful praying, seeking, waiting, and enduring, her joy was finally made complete and full as she looked into the face of her precious Savior.

Beloved, Anna reminds every believer to remain faithful through the changing seasons of this life. The Lord sees all, hears all, and lovingly walks along with His blood-bought children through every joy and every sorrow. Those who place their expectations and hope in Jesus will never be disappointed, for one day our faith will become sight, and like Anna of old, we too will behold our Savior face to face! What an ETERNAL encouragement for all in these last days!

  • John 15:1–11

  • Romans 8:28–29

  • James 1:2–5

  • Psalm 23

  • Proverbs 3:5–6

  • Hebrews 12:1–3

REFLECTION QUESTIONS

  1. Are my expectations and hope anchored in Jesus and His ETERNAL promises, even when He has me wait on His perfect timing?

  2. How does Anna's years of endurance and faithfulness to the Lord encourage me to persevere in life and prayer?

  3. Am I living with joyful expectation for the day I will see my Savior face to face?

PRAYER

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your ETERNAL faithfulness through every season of my life. Please help me to trust in You as Anna did, patiently waiting upon Your perfect timing. Strengthen my heart to persevere in prayer, keep my hope fixed on Your perfect will and ETERNAL promises, and fill me with Your joy as I look forward to the day I will see You, Father, face to face.

I ask this in Your precious Name, Lord Jesus; even so come. Amen.
