Beloved, every song has an audience, but in worship there is ONLY One unto Whom we sing!

As blood-bought believers in Jesus, our songs are ultimately sung unto the ETERNAL Chief Musician, the ETERNAL Lord of ETERNAL glory Himself. The triune God is the Creator of music, the giver of every good gift, and the only One worthy of all praise, devotion, and worship. Our greatest desire is that every melody, every lyric, and every note would bring ETERNAL glory to His holy Name.

True worship begins in the abiding heart of the child of God. As we abide in Christ, the Holy Spirit teaches our hearts to sing in harmony with God's Word and with His righteous character. Our songs become more than music; they become a testimony of Almighty God's grace, faithfulness, and EVERLASTING agape love.

Psalm 150 calls every living creature to praise the Lord. From the quiet song of one grateful heart to the joyful praise of God's people together, all worship belongs to Him in Spirit and truth, for He alone is worthy because He alone is our ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS Creator, our Redeemer, our Shepherd, and our beloved coming King!

May every song we sing point others to our precious Jesus in Spirit and truth. May our lives be a continual sweet-smelling offering of praise, and may every note declare the greatness of the ETERNAL Chief Musician! May it be so!

PRAYER

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for being the ETERNAL Chief Musician, the Creator of music and the One who alone is worthy of all praise. Fill my heart with songs that honor Your holy name and reflect Your ETERNAL righteous character.

Help me, dear Lord, to abide in Jesus so that my life and my music remain in harmony with Your Word and Character. May every melody I sing and every ministry You entrust to me point others to the beauty of Your precious Beloved Son and to the wonder of Your EVERLASTING agape love.

May my pilgrim life become a continual song of praise until the day I join the heavenly chorus around Your throne, singing FOREVER to Your glory!
