Randy Rhoads' 69th Birthday and Legacy Remembered - A Biblical Perspective

Many out there in the Christian blogosphere might be wondering why I am posting on this topic, and remembering Randy's 69th birthday and legacy. The thought that might be ringing through people's heads is: "What does Randy Rhoads' birthday and legacy have to do with biblical Christianity or prophetic events?" Well… my dear friends, let me fill you in... and be a little personal.

Randy Rhoads; who was the original guitarist of Quiet Riot in the ’70s and then came to stardom and the height of notoriety as Ozzy’s… yes… Ozzy's guitarist! It is absolutely amazing how time flies. I cannot believe it has been 43 years since his March 19th plane crash! To this day, I have NEVER forgotten that anniversary. There has always been something about Randy and his untimely death that still haunts me, and his person that has had a very special place in my heart. I cannot explain it. I know it sounds odd and corny (especially to believers), but that is my past, what can I say? Before I came to Christ in 1992, I myself was lock, stock, and barrel sold into the music industry and a huge cultic follower of Ozzy Osbourne and the rock culture. You could say that I definitely sold my soul to Rock' n Roll. I played guitar and played in several bands, and all who knew me knew that I greatly admired Randy Rhoads. For what it is worth, even my guitar was black with white pock - a – dots! Yes! I was a huge follower.

To this day, I have NEVER forgotten that anniversary. There has always been something about Randy and his untimely death that still haunts me, and his person that has had a very special place in my heart. I cannot explain it.

To all of us who were (me) and are into the music industry or followed it, Randy Rhoads was a guitar god and a legend. His guitar playing changed all the rules and techniques of his day and brought a more technical, professional, and classical approach and style to the rock genre. Randy’s playing and genius in applying guitar scales were unique. Randy was very passionate in his playing and rooted and grounded in music theory, and the list goes on. In light of all the rock’s guitarists, none has ever moved, motivated, inspired, and has been more beloved by an industry than Randy Rhoads. Tragically on March 19th, 1982, Randy was killed in a plane crash, cutting short his life and his guitar genius. His tragic death left a GAPING VOID in the rock world of that day, which has NEVER been filled. The countless daily thoughts of Randy’s fans and admirers ponder and wonder, oh… what could have been, and why him? They continually ring throughout the music world even today, 43 years later!! Unlike the majority of all rock guitarists in that filthy industry, arrogant, proud, haughty, narcissistic, and lewd, Randy was very different.

His unique and humble personality has stood out in a narcissistic and opportunistic industry, and that has left a greater legacy than the genius of his wondrous guitar playing.

In the later months of his life, Randy became highly admired and respected not just for his playing and total professionalism, but for being the complete opposite of those in the rock industry and world. As a 14-year-old boy, that is what I admired the most about Randy. I could identify with him on that. Randy was humble, kind, caring, and considerate, and totally not a poser. He was – as silly as this might sound to some - a role model in a godless and decadent world which kids so desperately wanted. He loved to teach guitar and loved his family very much. Many have been greatly influenced by Randy, not just for his playing but for the kind of person that he was. His unique and humble personality has stood out in a narcissistic and opportunistic industry, and that has left a greater legacy than the genius of his wondrous guitar playing.

Randy’s upbringing, according to his brother Kelle and his beloved mother, was that of a strong “Lutheran” Christian rearing, and after years of rebelling against those foundational teachings from his youth, Randy’s conscience was beginning to convict him of being a part of that lifestyle.

It has been told by many, including Randy’s mother, brother Kelle, Rudy Sarzo, and Ozzy himself, that Randy in the last year or so of his life wanted OUT of the godless, drug-induced rock industry to further a musical career as a classical guitarist. As told by many, Randy did not drink or do drugs, which is unheard of in that decadent and godless society. It is also said that Randy had become very serious in his personality and that touring with Ozzy had really changed him. I truly believe that the life in that godless industry was beginning to turn his stomach, and he wanted out. I personally know (by personal experience) that at the age of 24 (not that I was ever at Randy’s level or sphere) I could not be a part of it anymore and adhere to my conservative “religious Christian” upbringing. I believe that this is what Randy might have been thinking near the end of his life. What is most mysterious and an important insight is that on the night before Rhoads' death, Sharon Osbourne stated that Randy said to her: "I don't think I want to be a rock 'n' roller anymore". Why would Randy ever make that statement at the height of his fame unless he saw what that industry was all about?  Randy’s upbringing, according to his brother Kelle and his beloved mother, was that of a strong “Lutheran” Christian rearing, and after years of rebelling against those foundational teachings from his youth, Randy’s conscience was beginning to convict him of being a part of that godless lifestyle. Randy’s Brother, Kelle had shared that touring and playing with Ozzy was causing conflict in his mind due to his upbringing. Who knows? Out on the road, away from friends and family, one is more open to evaluating one’s life and what it all means. The big lights of fame and the countless concerts of fans praising you after a while do not seem to satisfy one anymore (Eccl.). There comes a time in one's life that one looks outside of themselves for the TRUE meaning of our existence here in time.

What is most mysterious and an important insight is that on the night before Rhoads' death, Sharon Osbourne stated that Randy said to her: "I don't think I want to be a rock 'n' roller anymore".

One begins to think and evaluate who one is; what is the meaning of life, reflecting on one’s past and upbringing, and in the fear of one’s accountability to Almighty God (Job 28:28, Prov. 1:7). All of Ozzy’s drunken, drug-induced lifestyle, demonic cross waving, and anti-biblical personality had to affect Randy. It went against all that he was taught growing up, and night after night of it must have finally come to a head. It must have been then that Randy shared with Sharon that he wanted out of Rock' n Roll after doing it since his early teens. Many of these private ponderings and thoughts individuals keep to themselves as they wrestle with them in their hearts, ever seeking to justify them or objectively condemn them. If this was the case with Rand,y I do not know, it might have been. Whatever the case with Randy, there was a change taking place in his life, and people saw it. The rest, unfortunately, is a great mystery, and that is what hooks people till this day about Randy Rhoads, the countless thoughts of the unknown, and the thoughts of what would have been.

One begins to think and evaluate about who one is; what is the meaning of life, reflecting on one’s past and upbringing, and in the fear of one’s accountability to Almighty God.

The thought that I want to share about this birthday anniversary is that no matter who we are or what we are or the manner of our living, whether good or evil, in the end, we ALL will give an account to our Creator on that Last Day (Matt. 7:21-23, Rev. 20:10-15). Almighty God is perfectly RIGHTEOUS in ALL that He allows and does not allow in this fallen world (Gen. 18:25, Rom. 3:5). Whether Randy Rhoads had a saving relationship to Jesus Christ in spirit and truth at the end of his life is unknown (John 4:24, 14:6, Acts 4:12, Rev. 21:27). Tragically Randy’s followers on this 42nd anniversary all will picture him to be in “heaven”, a “heaven” which is after THEIR OWN subjective fallen design and delusional reality. My dear friend, it is IN DEATH that our ETERNAL sobering summons to stand before our ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS Creator Almighty God to give an account for what we have done in our bodies in this fallen world is called (2 Chron. 19:7, Eccl. 3:17, 12:13-14, Heb. 9:27). We do not want to pretend with our fallen delusional reasoning that we in our own deeds are ABSOLUTELY PERFECT and RIGHTEOUS to stand before our Creator. For who is there that EVER lived (virtuous or vile) that has NOT TRANSGRESSED against Almighty God's ETERNAL PERFECT RIGHTEOUS ABSOLUTES (John 3:36, Rom. 3:23)? My dear friend, REALITY is desperately needed in this hour and day, for we will all give an account, maybe even tonight perhaps to Almighty God (Rom. 14:12, 1 Peter.4:5). We do not know when our hour will be at hand but we must be ready! ETERNITY is always before us (Job, 27:8, Prov. 10:2, 27:1, Luke 12:19-20, Rev. 20:11-15)!

Almighty God is perfectly RIGHTEOUS in ALL that He allows and does not allow in this fallen world. Whether Randy Rhoads had a saving relationship to Jesus Christ in spirit and truth at the end of his life is unknown.

Almighty God has made ETERNAL provision in His dear and precious Son Jesus Christ for the transgressions of the ENTIRE world, which includes YOU and ME (John 3:16-17, 1 Peter 3:18, 1 John 2:2, 4:10)! That is the REALITY that we as individuals most desperately need to comprehend and understand. May I, my dear friend, ask you this VERY sobering and pertinent question? How can YOU or I (TRANSGRESSORS of Almighty God’s PERFECT LAW) ever stand before Almighty God our Creator, who is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT (RIGHTEOUS)? How can we EVER enter into His PERFECT and HOLY Heaven (Isa. 53:6, 64:6, Rom. 7:24-25, Rev. 21:27)? My dear friends, we NEVER can (Rom. 3:23). It is ABSOLUTELY HOPELESS without God's PERFECT Lamb (John 1:29, 1 Peter 3:18-19, Rev. 1:5). We are in a horrific and desperate NEED for Divine propitiation and a Savior (Rom. 7:24-25, 1 John 2:2, 4:10). My dear friends, it is when one places their absolute trust IN Jesus Christ that individuals transgressions are forgiven and removed and the RIGHTEOUSNESS of Christ – who died in our stead - is transferred unto us (Rom. 4:5, 5:8)! It is IN Christ where our RIGHTEOUSNESS is found alone not in anything we ever can do (Rom. 7:24-25, 10:2-4, Titus 3:5)!

We are in a horrific and desperate need for Divine propitiation and a Savior.

My dear friends, as millions reflect on Randy's 69th birthday and legacy, may we look OUTSIDE of the box of this fallen and temporal world to see the ETERNAL in light of this little temporal life here on planet earth. My dear friends, it is all about ETERNITY, will YOU be ready?

Almighty God is absolutely just in all that He does and allows. He has allowed and used Randy’s tragic death to get people’s attention and to teach us all just how brief, frail, tragic, and temporal our little existence truly is here on planet earth. The question that we must ask ourselves is, will we pay FULL attention? Whether Randy in the last days of his life came to know Jesus Christ as his personal Savior no one knows, but Almighty God PERFECTLY gave him every opportunity to do so, just as He is doing for all alive on planet earth at present (John 16: 8-11, Rom. 2:4). No one will EVER die without having every opportunity to hear the SAVING Gospel of Jesus Christ. For, in the END, it is OUR own personal freewill that will make our ETERNAL decision (John 1:12, 3:16-17, Acts 16:29-31). In the GRACE and MERCY of Almighty God, I have personally made my decision. Though I wrestled with Almighty God for years He wondrously in His ETERNAL love and kindness, gave me some time to beat my drum and to exhaust all of my delusional thinking (Rom. 2:4). In the end, Almighty God showed me how desperately I needed Him and how gracious to me He truly was. I have received Jesus Christ and His ETERNAL saving solution for me - a transgressor and sinner - and I have NEVER looked back (John 1:12, 2 Cor. 5:17-21, Eph. 2:1-10)! How could any look back? You see, I can absolutely identify with Randy's life, not that I ever lived on his level, but our lives were very similar. The lifestyle of that industry may be enjoyable for a season, but there is no way anyone can find fulfillment in it let alone serve Almighty God in it. Almighty God is calling OUT any who will hear His voice and have an ear to hear (Matt. 13:18-23, Mark 4:9). Do YOU have an ear to hear? That is the ETERNAL question at hand.

Almighty God is absolutely just in all that He does and allows. He has used Randy’s tragic death to get people’s attention and to teach us all just how brief, frail, tragic, and temporal our little existence truly is here on planet Earth.

Whatever choice Randy made about his ETERNITY, if he could tell us anything, he would communicate to all that loved him how desperately crucial it is for one to have Almighty God's ETERNAL pardon and redemption found ONLY in Jesus Christ - pro or con (John 3:16-17, 36, 11:25-26, Rev. 20:11-15, 21-22:1-5). My friends, I am sure many will misunderstand this post and be enraged. They will NOT be objective and evaluate it based on the REALITIES of Almighty God’s Word, but it is my sincere desire that at least one out of the millions will consider the WONDERFUL saving grace of Almighty God. For, in the end, that is what this life and brief existence on planet earth is all about! It's up... TO... YOU... to choose. What will it be?

A Biblically Objective Christmas!

This Christmas season may you be biblically objective and see from Almighty God's precious Word the REALITY and TRUE meaning of Christmas and the unspeakable gift Almighty God your ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS Creator has for you in the babe of Bethlehem (Isa. 53, Micah 5:2, Matt. 1:21, 2 Cor. 9:15). The very meaning of the Name "Jesus" means; YAHWEH IS Salvation! Beloved SALVATION IS A PERSON! The very gift from Almighty God for you is His ETERNAL Person, which is found in His precious Son (Isa. 7:14, Matt. 1:21-23, John 1:1-4, Heb. 1:2-3; 10). 

The very meaning of the Name "Jesus" means: YAHWEH IS Salvation! SALVATION IS A PERSON!

Dear friend, if you know not the Lord Jesus Messiah as your personal Savior, there is no better time than this Christmas season to receive Him into your heart (John 1:12)! There was no room at the inn for Jesus to be born and I pray the inn of your heart does not have a "no vacancy" sign in its window too! May you choose Jesus as your own and receive God's most precious Gift for yourself, His beloved Son!

Is There Room in Your Heart for Jesus and His RIGHTEOUSNESS this Christmas Season? 1 John 4:10

Our dear friends, this Christmas season, many will celebrate Christmas, but sadly, many who celebrate the Christmas season do not personally know the Lord Jesus in Spirit, ETERNAL TRUTH, and RIGHTEOUSNESS as the Bible so simply and clearly teaches (1 John 5:12-13). Dear friend, no need to be offended in such an opening statement. Either we do, or we do not (John 3:16-17). It is really is just that simple. The personal question we need to ask each one of us is: "Do we really want to know the Lord Jesus as the Bible so clearly and simply teaches about Him in RIGHTEOUSNESS?"

Almighty God, our ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS Creator, SO LOVED YOU that He sent forth His beloved ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS Son to be born in time; that He might DIE a propitiatory death for you and RISE AGAIN for you that you may live FOREVER!

My dear friend, again, do you personally know the Lord Jesus; the world's ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS Savior this Christmas season? Almighty God our ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS Creator, SO LOVED YOU that He sent forth His beloved ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS Son to be born in time; that He might DIE a propitiatory death for you and RISE AGAIN for you that you may live FOREVER (John 1:12; 3:16-17; 11:25-26; 1 Cor. 15:2-4; 1 Peter 1:18-25; 2:21-24; 1 John 4:10; 5:12-13; Rev. 1:5)? 

No wonder ALL of Almighty God's RIGHTEOUS angels rejoiced with EXCEEDINGLY GREAT JOY at the birth of Jesus; for they PERFECTLY and ETERNALLY knew what Almighty God was doing on behalf of Adam's fallen race in sending His ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS Son!

Oh my dear friend! I do not know how to say anything more wonderful to any than that this Christmas season! No wonder ALL of Almighty God's RIGHTEOUS angels rejoiced with EXCEEDINGLY GREAT JOY at the birth of Jesus; for they PERFECTLY and ETERNALLY knew what Almighty God was doing on behalf of Adam's fallen race in sending His ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS Son (Isa. 9:6-7; Luke 2:8-15; Rom. 5:12-21; Gal. 1:4; 4:4-5; Phil. 4:4; 1 John 4:10; Rev. 1:5) The Lord Jesus desires to be born in your heart to out work HIS-Story in you! He desires to be a burning light in you to a dark and dying world for His ETERNAL glory (John 1:12; 3:3-7, Eph. 2:1-14; 2 Cor. 5:17-21)! Such an ETERNAL calling of ETERNAL purpose, FULLFILLMENT and GLORY for ALL who will receive Him and follow Him (Matt. 4:18-20; Acts 20:24; Rom. 8:18; 1 Cor. 2:9; 2 Cor. 4:17-18; 5:17-21; Gal. 2:20; Eph. 1; 2:1-14; Rev. 22:1-5)!

As the Lord Jesus came the first time, He is INDEED coming the second time! All events are EXPONENTIAL today, and all signs say, He is coming! What a wonderful time and season it is to receive into your heart the Lord Jesus as your personal RIGHTEOUS Savior! May it be so! Merry Christmas!

What must I do to be saved this Christmas?

The Christmas Reality in Light of Today's Crises

In light of today's many different faceted trials and plagues that are effecting our society and country's well being, may we tune into the reality of the glorious Christmas message that Almighty God has given to all people!

This Christmas Season, remember the REALITY of Christmas! A Savior was born, for you and for me! (Luke 2:1-20, Matt 1:18-25, 2:1-15, John 1:14)

A Savior was born, for you and for me!

The TRUE GIFT of Christmas is that Almighty God has provided a Savior to deliver Adam's fallen race from their sins (i.e., the transgressions against Almighty God's ETERNAL righteous standards).

Do you believe? Do you really believe? Or do you just celebrate a "Traditional Christmas".

What better way of celebrating this Christmas Season than to know the Savior of Christmas and the reality of the season!

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved" (John 3:16,17)

God's Christmas Gift

This Christmas, may your heart be open to receive the GIFT of the Lord Jesus Christ and to enjoy the reality of the season. A Savior was born and GIVEN to meet our deepest needs, here in Time and for Eternity.

Rejoice in the reality! Rejoice in the goodness of Almighty God! Rejoice that our sins can be forgiven! Rejoice that Almighty God has a great plan, purpose and future for our lives, here in Time and for ETERNITY! All because a Savior was born! There is great hope! There is great expectancy! Believe and Receive this Christmas! (John 1:12)

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! (Phil 4:4)

The Angelic Proclamation of Then and Now!

Imagine if you will the picture… It is another normal depressing night in the fields of Bethlehem and you are a son of Abraham and a shepherd guarding and watching over your flocks by NIGHT (Luke 2:8). All seems to be as it always is. Sadly, you are pondering what life is all about? In your deep despair and subjective worldly perception you wonder, has Almighty God forsaken His people Israel? Does the God of Israel even care about me? Will a Messiah come and redeem His people from the bondage of oppressive Rome? I’m confused and disillusioned with everything. The conditions, seasons and future looks very bleak and pessimistic.

As Almighty God breaks through the silence He does not send not a prophet, but the entire exceeding multitudes of angelic host to herald the Messiah’s birth!

It is very hard to be optimistic in such a day when Rome dominates the land with an iron hand and its oppressive taxation leaves very little left for the people. The ruler of the land who is under Rome is not even a Jew and is a violent madman who knows NO mercy. It feels as if we are at the end of our lot here and all is hopeless. As your despair and hopelessness reaches a suicidal numbing pitch a wonder of wonders bursts out of the heavens from above which astonishes and frightens you beyond all belief! It is in this night, when ALL is hopeless that Almighty God breaks through the 400 years of silence. As Almighty God breaks through the silence He does not send a prophet, but sends the entire exceeding multitudes of the angelic host from heaven's glory to herald the Messiah’s birth!

“And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” (Luke 2:8-14)

Wake up O Israel!! Wake up O Earth!!! A Savior is born!!!! Wake up!!! Almighty God has sent a SAVIOR, mighty to save and deliver ALL who trust in Him from sin and death (John 3:16-17, 36, Rom 7:24-25, Rev. 20:11-15)! Oh my beloved, how many people in the land of Israel were TRULY looking for Almighty God’s Savior, the Savior of the Holy Scriptures (Isa. 53, John 1:10-11)? Sadly near to none because people (conservative and liberal) are NOT looking to be delivered from their transgressions against Almighty God. They are looking for Almighty God to accommodate and accept THEIR subjective fallen world perspective which is governed by their 5 senses (Rom. 1:18-32, 10:2-4, Jude 1:10). They are ever seeking to preserve this fallen world while rejecting the NEW one that is to come in complete RIGHTEOUSNESS (Rev. 21). It is their personal will that must always trump Almighty God’s ETERNAL SOVEREIGN will. They (conservative and liberal) have THEIR own opinions of who God is and have made the Holy Scriptures to fit THEIR personal “Judeo/Christian” life style (Jer. 23:36, Matt. 7:21-23, 2 Peter 3:16). They know it not but they are personally (conservative and liberal) at war with Almighty God and His program for the ages.

The dear shepherds and Israel of old were absolutely oblivious to truly who Almighty God was, why the present state and condition of the nation Israel and what was their greatest need for their lives.

The majority of the world wants a godless and lawless existence (conservative and liberal) and desires for their lawless lives the fruits of RIGHTEOUSNESS by applying godless and lawless means (Rom. 10:2-4, 2 Peter 3:16, Jude 1:10). Even today, just as 2000 years ago the majority of the world still REJECTS Almighty God’s FREE GIFT of saving grace, redemption and ETERNAL LIFE (Rom. 1:18-32). The dear shepherds and Israel of old were absolutely oblivious to who Almighty God truly was, why the present state and condition of the nation Israel and what was their greatest need for their lives. Their greatest need was not to be free from under the yoke of Rome and Herod, but to be delivered from the tyranny, oppression and bondage of Satan, their wretched fallen state and ETERNAL damnation (Rom. 7:24-25, Heb. 2:14-15).

Even today just as 2000 years ago the majority of the world still rejects Almighty God’s FREE GIFT of saving grace, redemption and ETERNAL LIFE.

Is today any different here in America. The Bible can be found in our own tongue abundantly in every facet of our society, but is the most neglected and rejected book in our nation. Our nation is fully saturated today with godlessness, lawlessness, corruption, decadence, violence, the blood of millions of the unborn, lewdness, narcissism, drug addiction, sex addiction, greed (poor and rich) and the outright rejection of Almighty God and His infallible Word. The height of hypocrisy is that we run around saying Merry Christmas, God bless you, God bless America and Happy Holidays and are absolutely oblivious that we as a nation are about to reap the whirlwind and receive the full weight of Almighty God’s wrath coming up shortly in the Day of the Lord (Rev. 6-16). We as a nation (conservative and liberal) are looking for solutions by godless means. We are seeking political saviors who cannot save this sinking Titanic. We have replaced REALITY with vain and delusional optimism. We as a people want to be delivered from all of the ills that plague our nation but we do NOT want to give up our lawless vices that got us here in the first place. Our day is no different than that night 2000 years ago when the world and the shepherds guarding their sheep were oblivious to what Almighty God was doing and what He was going to do. Think about it, how many people back then and here today are looking for Almighty God's TRUE Savior? The answer is a horrific, nearly none (Isa. 53, Matt. 7:13-14, John 1:10-11)!

We as a people want to be delivered from the ills of our nation but we do NOT want to give up the lawless vices that got us here.

My dear friend, may I ask you this very personal question since we are in the “Christmas” season? Do you truly comprehend and believe the biblical message of ETERNAL salvation put forth by Almighty God in His infallible Word? Do you fully comprehend without a shadow of a doubt that your ABSOLUTE GREATEST NEED is to be delivered from your fallen humanity and the wrath of your Creator (John 3:36, 1 John 5:12)? My friend are you fully prepared for your ETERNAL abode? Do you have the ABSOLUTE PERFECT RIGHTEOUSNESS required by Almighty God (Rom. 3:23, 6:23, 10:2-4)? My friend, no one does and that is why we need Almighty God's Savior so desperately!

This child would - by the shedding of His RIGHTEOUS BLOOD one day - make FULL ATONEMENT for all who would place their absolute trust in Him and that He would be the satisfying propitiation that would make peace on earth.

No wonder the angelic multitude on that night 2000 years ago rejoiced with EXCEEDINGLY GREAT JOY, for they FULLY understood what this lost world did not. For what sin had destroyed, Almighty God was seeking to redeem. Indeed Almighty God’s RIGHTEOUS intentions and good will towards mankind were expressed in the sending of His precious Son (John 3:16-17). Oh beloved, that is what Christmas is about!!

A Savior was born! Do you personally know Him? That is your own personal choice to make. May it be so that you choose to receive the LOVE of Almighty God which is His dear Son who is the greatest gift this Christmas season and every season! Place your trust in Him today, you will NEVER EVER be the same!

What Must I Do To Be Saved!

Almighty God's Christmas Song Witness!

Where ever you go now during this "holiday" season, Christmas music is playing and many of the Christmas songs have a sound Biblical message of salvation. What Child is This?, O Little Town of Bethlehem, Hark the Herald Angels Sing, O Holy Night, O Come Emanuel, Go Tell it on the Mountain, O Come all Ye Faithful, The First Noel, Angels We Have Heard on High, O Come Let Us Adore Him, Joy to the World etc.. are all screaming the wondrous TRUTH that a Savior is born! However... as these songs play with their saving message they sail far over the heads of busy unregenerate men and women who have no time this season to slow down and consider why they so desperately need a Savior (Isa 53, John 3:16-17, Rom. 3:23, 6:23, 10:2-4, 1 John 4:10, Rev. 20:11-15).

I marvel at how Almighty God's unknowing messengers of the Gospel at Christmas time or this "Holiday Season" are some of the most godless and secular outlets. It must drive the god of this world nuts to know that Almighty God is using his Hollywood Parade, godless music artists, TV stations, radio stations, department stores, work, convenience stores, gas stations etc... etc...  to get out His saving message to a world in which Satan oppresses and deceives (Eph. 2:1-2). Many of these songs are a personal rebuke to him and teem with the ETERNAL TRUTHS of his soon ETERNAL demise (Gen. 3:15, Rev. 20:10).

 I marvel at how Almighty God's unknowing messengers of the Gospel at Christmas time or this "Holiday Season" are some of the most godless and secular outlets.

The Christmas season is an awesome time for personally sharing the simple and wonderful message of Jesus Christ without really a lot of opposition. I have found that many people are really receptive at this time, but of course, there is still a strong government opposition, but generally, Almighty God in our post-Judeo/Christian culture has given us an open door to still share the TRUE Christmas message (Rev. 3:8). Christian Christmas songs - which hold absolute TRUTH, sound doctrine and sound Biblical REALITY - are a wonderful way to point out the Gospel message (Matt. 1:21, John 1:12, Acts 16:28-30, 1 Cor. 15:2-4, Rev. 1:5) to those around us who know all the words by heart but never ever considered what they truly mean. I can't tell you how many times in my 28 years walking with Him that the Lord has given me an open door that I have been able to point out these wonderful ETERNAL TRUTHS! Tragically, many who hear these wonderful Christmas TRUTHS (apostate Christians and secular) have no room in their heart for them, but that does not mean that we do not herald Almighty God's saving message at this time of the season

This Christmas season allow Almighty God to use you to be His personal vessel to witness as the angels of old did that first Christmas night; that a Savior is born (Luke 2)!
