Beloved, Jesus is not only our ETERNAL Faithful Shepherd, but Jesus has also become our perfect propitiatory Lamb who willingly laid down His life for our sins. Think on that, dear friend. The Shepherd of man became our Lamb so that His little sheep could be forgiven, redeemed, and brought safely into His ETERNAL fold. Beloved, Jesus perfectly knows each of His sheep by name. He lovingly leads each one into green pastures, beside the still water, leads us in His paths of RIGHTEOUSNESS through the valleys of the shadow of death, and prepares a table before our enemies, and none, including Satan himself, can ever snatch us out of His glorified, nail-pierced hands, as He tenderly and faithfully keeps us in His ETERNAL care.
Beloved, this song reminds us that our ETERNAL salvation rests in the finished work of Jesus our propitiatory Lamb. Indeed, beloved, Jesus is the Good and Faithful Shepherd and the One who causes our hearts to sing!

How does knowing that Jesus is both your Shepherd and your sacrificial Lamb strengthen your faith in Him?
What does Jesus' promise that no one can snatch His sheep from His hand mean to you today?
How can you more faithfully listen to and follow the voice of your Good Shepherd today?
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Jesus, our perfect Lamb and ETERNAL Shepherd. Thank You that through His sacrifice we have been forgiven, are secure, and are FOREVER Yours. Help us to hear Jesus’ voice, follow Him faithfully, and rest in His unfailing agape love each day.
We ask these things in Your precious Name, Lord Jesus; even so come, Amen
