Victory in Jesus in 2013 for Almighty God's Honor and Glory!

Dearly beloved of the Lord, God has graciously brought us through to a new year and as we have seen 2012 was an absolute disaster for America with zero human remedies in sight. Hey... that's OK... this nasty world is NOT our home my beloved! Those who reject Almighty God's ETERNAL saving grace and remain in their rebellion against Him can keep it and their delusional doomed world view also (Rom. 1:18-32). As we embark on this New Year, may we be continually focused and redeeming the time for the Savior for the days are evil indeed (Eph. 5:16); for the day and hour of His coming is nearer then ever before. May we have faith in Almighty God, Who works out all things for His honor and glory (Romans 8: 28, Rev. 4:11) and may we possess the ETERNAL perspective that only God and His Word gives while living in this fallen temporal world (Col. 3:1-2, Phil. 3:20). May we be also exercising our Heavenly calling as His ambassadors to a lost and dying world, for the end is drawing near (2 Cor. 5:20, Eph. 5:16). The past is in the past and the ETERNAL future for the child of God is always BRIGHT (Phil. 3:8,12)!
.
May we possess the ETERNAL perspective that only God and His Word gives while living in this temporal world.
..
Beware and be on guard of the subtleties of our adversary “the Devil” and the many voices that seek to derail and distract us from the realities at hand (Matt. 24: 4-5, Luke 22:31, 2 Cor. 11:13-15, Phil. 3:2, James 4:7, 1 Peter 5:8).

May our battle cry be “Victory in Jesus” in this 2013 year (1 Cor. 15:57, 2 Cor. 2:14, 1 John 5:4)! My beloved, this may indeed be the very year that we see our Beloved Savior face to face (1 John 3:2-3). What glory that will be!

My friends what ever may transpire this year here in troubled America, remember what must be; for the Kingdom of Heaven is truly at hand! Think on and remember this invaluable truth and reality! It will truly set you free from all of the adversity that surrounds us! ((John 8:32, 36)

We all at the Ignorant Fishermen Blog wish you all a blessed and Christ centered New Year with much victory  (1 Cor. 15:57, 2 Cor. 2:14, 1 John 5:4)!
,
Victory in Jesus in 2013!

THE APOSTLE PAUL'S CONVERSION

Before discussing Saul's conversion we need to establish a point of fact. You cannot become a Christian and have unforgiven sins. If your sins have been forgiven you are a Christian. If you are a Christian then your sins have been forgiven. It is impossible to separate forgiveness, from being in Christ. How could you say I became a Christian last night but my sins were not forgiven? By the same reasoning you could not assert that I had my sins forgiven last night but I am not a Christian.

What is true for us, was true for the apostle Paul.

Acts 9:3-6 As he was traveling, it happened that he was approaching Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him; 4 and he fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?" 5 And he said, "Who are You Lord?" And He said, "I am Jesus whom you are persecuting, 6 but get up and enter the city, and it will be told you what to do."

Saul obviously believed in Jesus at this point, yet he was still not forgiven of his sins; therefore he was not a Christian. Paul was not saved by "FAITH ONLY."

Acts 9:9-11 And he was three days without sight, and neither ate nor drank. 10 Now there was a disciple at Damascus named Ananias; and the Lord said to him in a vision, "Ananias." And he said, "Here I am Lord." 11 And the Lord said to him, "Get up and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying,

Saul believed that Jesus was Lord.
Saul repented.
Saul fasted and prayed for three days.
After three days on the road to Damascus Saul was still not forgiven of his sins. Saul was not saved by faith alone, Saul was not saved by repenting alone. Saul was not saved by praying and fasting. SAUL WAS NOT SAVED ON THE ROAD TO DAMASCUS.

Acts 22:12-16 "A certain Ananias....13 came to me....16 Now why do you delay? Get up and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on His name.'

Saul's sins were forgiven after he was baptized in water, not before.

Galatians 3:27 For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.

Saul was not a Christian until he was baptized into Christ.

Mark 16:16 He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved......

Saul was not saved until he was immersed in water.

Acts 2:38...and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of you sins....

Saul sins where not forgiven until he was baptized in water.

Paul was saved the way all men are saved. FAITH John 3:16---REPENTANCE Acts 3:19---CONFESSION Romans 10:9-19---WATER BAPTISM Acts 2:38

YOU CANNOT SEPARATE BECOMING A CHRISTIAN AND FORGIVENESS OF SINS!

PAUL WAS NOT SAVED ON THE ROAD TO DAMASCUS----PAUL WAS SAVED IN DAMASCUS.

My friend, there is no 12 step to salvation, John 1:12, Acts 16:28-30, 1 John 5:12-18.

Baptism or identification the true meaning in the Greek for baptism is done to show what the Messiah has done for the believer who receives the REALITY and TRUTH. Baptism does not save it shows what happened when we got saved.
