Egypt’s Judgment and Deliverance in the Day of the Lord.

A look at Egypt from Isaiah 19:16-25

We all remember when the Islamic Brotherhood had officially taken over Egypt. The very first thing out of their mouth was death and destruction to Israel and the Jews and that they would also take Jerusalem and make it "their" capital (Ezek. 37:25, Joel 3:20, Amos 9:15, Zech. 14). My dear friends, now that President Morsi has been ousted the blood once again flows in the streets of Egypt as his "Brotherhood" supporters rage against all. I would like to provide from a biblical perspective a biblical point of view for any who might be wondering what will now become of Egypt, the Egyptian Islamic Brotherhood, the Egyptian military and the nation of Israel.

First, we personally believe that when a PRE “Gog” Islamic confederacy (Ezek. 38-39) seeks in their demonic rage to take over Israel and cast them into the sea... that Israel will greatly defend herself and institute the Limbaugh Doctrine (peace through victory) holding absolutely nothing back. Israel knows that it cannot trust the Islamic Brotherhood, Egypt's new government,  President Obama and the Democratic anti Semitic progressives who are now currently in power in Washington D.C. Secondly, and most crucial is that  we are at the very door of the time continually mentioned in Almighty God’s Word as the Day of the Lord. My dear friends and to those of you who may be scoffers, all these things at present are absolutely setting the table for this time period (the Day of the Lord) to commence. For these things are clearer than ever to see as this HORRIFIC time period approaches. The table is set and is just awaiting the guests of the Rapture, the anti Christ and then the Four Horsemen appear on the scene (Dan. 9:26-27, 2 Thess. 2:3-12, Rev. 6-19).

Egypt's aggression and the Israeli Limbaugh Doctrine

We would like to share with you from Almighty God’s INFALLIBLE Word what will become of Egypt in the very near future. It is absolutely amazing!! The book of Isaiah, which was written 2700 years ago, spoke of Egypt in the Day of the Lord and shares with its reader Egypt’s future hostilities, humiliation and then redemption. As we draw closer to the Day of the Lord (especially in our day) it is very clear to see these things coming together right before our eyes. Almighty God, the God of Israel, LOVES the Egyptian people who (the majority of) at present are blinded by the god of this world (2 Cor. 4:3-4) with hate and rage towards His "wayward" people (Israel) and His ETERNAL RIGHTEOUSNESS (Rom. 1:18-22, 10:2-4). Almighty God so LOVED Egypt that He sent His Son to pay the FULL price for their transgression against Almighty God's ETERNAL RIGHTEOUSNESS and not just for them but for the whole world as well (John 3:16-17). Below is a commentary on Egypt from Isaiah 19:16-25. I think that you will all be blown away as I was on seeing how clear these passages are as we are about to enter into this time period (Rev. 6-19). He that has and ear let him hear!

Almighty God, the God of Israel, LOVES the Egyptian people who (the majority of) are at present blinded with hate and rage towards His "wayward" people (Israel) and His ETERNAL RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Isaiah 19:16-25

16 In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be afraid and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which he shaketh over it.

“In that day” is the term that always pertains to the Day of the Lord (the seven year tribulation and the 1000 year reign of Israel’s Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ). This particular time in the “Day of the Lord” is speaking about the seven year tribulation (Dan. 9:26-27, Rev. 6-16). As the tribulation begins (Dan. 9:27, Rev. 6:1-2) the land of Egypt will be under radical Islamic rule and be a staunch enemy of Israel. This truth is well known today for we are at the very door of this time (the Day of the Lord). Israel at this time will have just signed a covenant with the man of Lawlessness from the position of absolute victory (Ezek. 38:8, 11, 12, 14, Dan. 9:27, Rev. 11:3-6). Israel will have decimated their border enemies to the point that they will have peace and security in their own land as Ezekiel 38 tells us quite clearly (Ezek. 38:8, 11, 12, 14). Then shall the man of lawlessness from Europe enter in to this peace treaty (covenant with many) with Israel from a position of weakness representing Israel’s decimated enemies (Dan. 9:27). It will be at the signing of THIS covenant that the seven year tribulation period will commence (Rev. 6-19). It will be also at this very time that Moses and Elijah of old (sent by Almighty God - His Two Witnesses) will manifest themselves unto the nation of Israel in black sackcloth, prophesying and reestablishing the Levitical offerings under Moses (Ex. 34-40, Dan. 12:11, 2 Thess. 2:3-5, Rev. 11:1-6). Israel as a nation will now have full access to the temple mount due to her major victory against their Islamic border enemies and will begin to rebuild the temple of God for worship and sacrifice; teaching the children of Israel and the world the Person and Work of the Messiah of Israel (Dan. 12:11, Isa. 53, John 1:29, 2 Thess. 2:3-5, Heb. 10, Rev. 11:1). These will preach with GREAT AUTHORITY to an unbelieving Israel and to the world that the Kingdom of Heaven and that Messiah’s return is truly at hand  (Rev. 11:3-6)! Israel under the Two Witness (Moses and Elijah) will be Divinely protected while the world around them will enter into the horrific and catastrophic Seal and Trumpet Judgments of Almighty God (Ezek. 38:8, 11, 12, 14, Rev. 6-8). This is absolutely key to comprehending the first half (3 ½ years) of the seven year tribulation period; that the Two Witnesses of Almighty God will ABSOLUTELY DOMINATE the world stage at this time and the gentile world and the anti Christ will not be able to touch Israel or these Two prophets of old ;for it is their time and Almighty God has given it to them FOR 3 1/2 YEARS (Ezek. 38:8, 11, 12, 14, Rev. 11:3-6).

It will be during this time that Almighty God - by means of His Two Witnesses - will protect Israel and themselves with supernatural plagues and wonders! They will be able (at will) to call down these plagues and wonders anywhere they want to across the face of the world (Rev. 11:3-6). The world will use it's nukes but these Two Witnesses will use the POWER of ALMIGHTY GOD! Because of Israel’s great victory and the supernatural protection of Israel by the Two Witnesses, Egypt (at this time) will be horrified (because of the Lord of Hosts (i.e.,) Armies shaking hand of wrath) as they see the Divine power of these Two Vessels of Almighty God of Israel and will fully comprehend - because of their hostility (current and past) towards Israel - that Almighty God’s anger and vengeance is also abiding on them as well as the world (Rev. 6-8).

17 And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of the LORD of hosts, which he hath determined against it.

The land of Judah (after Israel’s great victory) will be the heart of Israel. For in Judah is Jerusalem, and in Jerusalem is now found Almighty God’s POWERFUL and INVINCIBLE Two Witnesses (Mal. 4:4-6, Rev. 11:3-6). Almighty God’s Two Witnesses (Moses and Elijah) have shone forth the Word, wonders, plagues and the destruction towards those who have sought to try to destroy them (Rev. 11:4-6). This understanding and knowledge has absolutely terrorized the inhabitants of Egypt individually. They fully comprehend that Almighty God’s hand and face is now against Egypt (His counsel) and just the very thought of the God of Israel’s wrath against the land of Egypt has caused them to be extremely horrified!

18 In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan, and swear to the LORD of hosts; one shall be called, The city of destruction.

Now this passage jumps into the future, into the Kingdom Age after the tribulation period has concluded (Isa. 2: 1-4, 11, Micah 4:1-4, Zech 14, Rev. 19:11-21), to the RULE and REIGN of the Messiah of Israel, the Lord Jesus Christ. It will be during this time that Egypt - which was under extreme militant Islamic rule at the beginning of the tribulation period and then ravished and plundered by the Anti Christ (Dan. 11:41-43) - is now saved and Egypt’s redeemed inhabitants are now in the Kingdom age. It will be during this time - in the 1000 year REIGN of Jesus Christ - that ALL the nations of the world will speak one language and will acknowledge Almighty God’s ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS sovereignty (Isa. 2: 1-4, 11, Micah 4:1-4, Zech 14, Rev. 19:11-21).

These 5 cities, which at one time DESPISED and HATED Israel and the God of Israel will now- in the 1000 year Kingdom age – speak in the Hebrew tongue! This also will include that wicked city which was destroyed by Almighty God for their hatred of Israel and their manifested godlessness. Whatever city this was once called, after Almighty God’s Divine judgment on it will be renamed “the City of Destruction”. It will be also that even this city that had been violently over thrown by Almighty God will be rebuilt and will not just speak in the Hebrew tongue, but will also swear and oath unto the God of Israel in spirit and in truth! That is an absolutely amazing testimony to the wondrous grace and mercy of Almighty God and His redemptive work in the hearts and minds of the sons of Adam (Rom. 5:12-21)! We shall look into greater detail into Egypt’s redemption in verse 22 of Isaiah 19.

19 In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD.

Again, this verse is looking into the Kingdom Age when the Lord Jesus Christ shall RULE and REIGN in RIGHTEOUSNESS (Isa. 2: 1-4, 11, Micah 4:1-4, Zech 14, Rev. 19:11-21). Egypt, which had for centuries been extremely hostile against Israel (God’s people and inheritance) is now redeemed and there is an alter of offering in the heart of their land unto the Redeemer of the world (John 3:16-17, Heb. 10, 1 John 1:7-10, 2:2) and on their border as people enter into the land of Egypt is a great memorial and pillar unto the God of Israel for ALL to see! O glory!!

20 And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the LORD because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.

Now my beloved, this massive pillar will be as a mighty flag waving for all to see. As people come to that land they will see it from afar. It shall be that whosoever enters into the land of Egypt will read Egypt’s personal testimony (in the Hebrew tongue) written upon it of the Lord God of Israel’s great redemption in the land of Egypt and His wondrous deliverance from their oppressors (Dan. 11:40-43). The mighty Savior which this passage speaks of is none other than the Lord Jesus Christ at His second coming to earth to destroy the Anti Christ armies at Armageddon and to purge the world of all its rebellious host (demonic and human) – Zech 14:16, Matt 13:30, 40-43, 47-50, 25:31-40, Rev. 19:11-21).

21 And the LORD shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the LORD in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow a vow unto the LORD, and perform it.

Those Egyptians who repent and turn to the Savior of the World during the tribulation period by means of the 144, 000 Jewish witnesses (Rev. 7) will be saved and enter into the Kingdom Age (Matt. 13:30, 43, 25:31-40). These redeemed Egyptians shall have a living and personal experiential relationship with the Savior of the world, who will be on earth in Person throughout the Kingdom Age (Isa. 2:1-4, Ezek. 43:1-7, Micah 4:1-4, Zech. 8:23). These redeemed of Egypt will rejoice in the Lord their Savior and He will rejoice in them (Ps. 32:11, 97:12)! How wondrous is that my beloved!! They will be ever thankful, understanding what Almighty God has saved and delivered them from and they shall worship Almighty God in SPIRIT and TRUTH (John 4:24) and be fully obedient even to the point of fulfilling all their vows! They will follow Almighty God’s Levitical sacrificial program (which will point to and teach about the redemptive work of the Savior of the world – Ezek. 43, Zech 14:16, Heb. 10, 2 John 1:8-9, 2:2).

22 And the LORD shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the LORD, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.

Now after a jump into the future to the Day of the Lord which showed what will be in the 1000 year reign of Messiah, we are now brought back into the seven year tribulation period (Rev. 6-16) where we see Almighty God’s Divine judgment on Egypt as mentioned in Isaiah 19:16-17 and then Almighty God’s wondrous grace and mercy and healing of those Egyptians who come to a saving knowledge of the Messiah of Israel (Rev. 7:13-17). These Egyptian haters of Almighty God’s redemptive program and plan for Israel will in full repentance turn 180 degrees and be heard of the Lord! This horrific time period (seven year tribulation), which will pass all imagination of catastrophe is to bring about repentance of the world and conversion of the Nation of Israel. Almighty God desires with all His being that NONE should perish but be saved and redeemed (John 3:16-17)! Egypt who will be most abominable during this time will repent and turn to Almighty God and Almighty God will not seek to destroy her but will delight in saving her! Oh the riches of Almighty God’s grace and mercy my beloved (Rom. 2:4)! He will hear them and then He will heal them! Oh my dear friends Allah never ever could do that even if he did exist. The God of Israel is the Savior of the world!; for the Jew first and to also the gentile (Isa. 43:11, 45:21).

23 In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians.

Now the Spirit of Almighty God directs Isaiah to again go forth past the seven year tribulation, which included the Battle of Armageddon; then past the imprisonment of Satan (Rev. 20:1-3) and past the casting into the Lake of Fire of the anti Christ and the false prophet (Rev. 19:20) and then past the sheep and goat judgments of the returning King of Glory (Dan. 12:12, Matt. 13:30, 40-43, 47-50, 25:31-45) and fixes His sights into the Kingdom Age of the Messiah on planet earth (Isa. 2: 1-4, 11, Micah 4:1-4, Zech 14, Rev. 19:11-21). This passage looks at two of Israel’s greatest enemies who are also the first two heads of the beast of Revelation (Rev. 17:9-11). These two godless, evil, wicked, lawless, violent and destructive nations will “in the Kingdom of Almighty God” both serve the Lord together in harmony and unity (Isa. 2:4, 32:17, Mic. 4:3)! To those of Isaiah’s day this statement must have absolutely floored them to believe that such a thing could ever be possible but in the grace and mercy of Almighty God this will come to be, for Almighty God will do it and make it so! For a great number of individuals from these two nations will place their trust in the Messiah of Israel and enter into the Kingdom Age and their offspring will grow and walk in unity and in the fear of the Lord together and serve the Lord God Messiah of the Nation of Israel (Matt. 8:11, Luke 13:29, Rev. 7:14)!

24 In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land:

Now in that time period the Holy Spirit mentions a third group, the nation of Israel. There has been no nation to the present that has rejected Almighty God’s plan and purpose for them as the nation as of Israel has. The Old Testament is saturated with their godless rebellion throughout their existence (Acts 7, Rom. 9-11). They have fought Almighty God tooth and nail since the crossing of the Red Sea and have been ravished, destitute and oppressed because of the forsaking of the covenants of Almighty God (Lev. 23, Deut. 28-32). Israel is the chosen people of Almighty God but have been a godless and rebellious people through out their history, but in the end of the GREAT tribulation they will turn to their Savior and Messiah and be saved (Deut. 4:30, Zech 12:8-12, 13:1-2)! As the Kingdom Age commences Israel will be a blessing to the world and dwell forever IN THEIR OWN LAND (Jer. 3:18, Ezek. 37:25-29)! Remember, Israel has been scattered throughout the world for centuries prior to 1948. It was in 1948 that Israel reestablished their official presence in the land to the wonderment of the gentile world. No nation has ever survived such world hatred as the nation of Israel has and then became established in their own land. They are present today in their own land but are living in secularism and unbelief at present. But just the fact that they are there speaks volumes that the Day of the Lord is truly at hand (Ezek. 37, Mark 13:28-30)!

Now, it will be also during the second half of the tribulation period call the “Great Tribulation” or “Jacob’s Trouble” (Jer. 30:1-7, Matt. 24:15-21) that Almighty God will finally let Israel feel the full sting of Satan, the anti Christ’s wrath and his 666 global state (Rev.12:6-17, 13). They (Israel) as a people, will be ravished extremely more as a nation and people than Egypt will be at this time and they will be greatly afflicted by the Lord for their continual transgressions (Ezek. 39:26, Dan. 12:1, Rev. 12:6-17). Israel at the Battle of Armageddon will cry out to the Lord and will see their Messiah who they have crucified and then will greatly repent and be saved (Deut. 4:30, Zech. 12:8-12, 13:1-2)! Israel in the Kingdom Age will also have a wondrous story to tell and they will be FOREVER established back into THEIR OWN land and FOREVER serve the Lord of Hosts and be a blessing unto the nations (Isa. 2:1-4, Micah 4:1-4, Acts 3:25).

These three very different nations, who in their deeply rooted cultures, philosophies (political and religious) and human ambitions will be “in that Day” as one and will serve the Lord in RIGHTEOUSNESS, spirit and truth and in unity and peace. Their acknowledgment and repentance unto the Messiah of Israel, the Savior of the World will be the unifying factor and common denominator as they walk in peace throughout the Kingdom Age (Isa. 2:1-4, Micah 4:1-4).

25 Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.

It will be at this time (the Kingdom Age), that the Lord (Father, Son and Holy Ghost) of Hosts (Armies - Rev. 19:11-21) will bless and not curse these three nations for they all will follow the Lord as a sheep His shepherd (Deut. 28:1-12, Rom. 9:30).

Firstly, Almighty God will bless Egypt and call’s them HIS people! The personal pronoun speaks of possession. Not the possession as a slave but a possession of a dear King who loves his subjects to the point that He laid down His life for them that they may live and be redeemed (John 3:16-17, 15:13, Rom. 8:31-32).

Secondly, God speaks of Assyria as the creation and work of His hands. God the Son’s hands show forth the redemptive love towards the whole world from Adam to the last human born (Rom. 5:12-21, Rev. 1:5). His hands are even stretched towards the wicked Assyrians of old and present. Remember Jonah’s special assignment (Jonah 1:2, Nahum)? In Almighty God’s work of redemption the nation and offspring of Assyria will be redeemed and serving Almighty God in Spirit and Truth (John 4:24, Rom. 9:30).

Thirdly, the most wondrous work of all will be in the nation of Israel. Almighty God’s manifestation of the revelation of faithfulness and covenant word with Israel will be fulfilled and revealed (Isa. 1:26, 62:1). Throughout Israel’s history is found only stiffneckedness, rebellion, idolatry, violation of Almighty God’s Divine commandments, the murder of His prophets and the murder and rejection of the Savior of the World and King of Israel, the Lord Jesus Christ (Lev. 26, Deut. 28-32, 2 Chron. 7:12-22, Jer. 2, Matt 23:37-39, John 19:15, Acts 7). In the end, Almighty God will fulfill all of His promises to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David and the nation of Israel. It will take GREAT HORRIFIC tribulation but in the end Almighty God will get what He sought after and Israel will be a blessing to all and will be known throughout the entire world that they are and have always been Almighty God’s people and inheritance (possession or property) and the apple of His eye (Isa. 49:15, Jer. 33:20, Ezek. 39:21-29, Zech. 2:8, 8:23, Rom. 11:12).

These three nations whose history of godlessness stands out among the history of all the nations of the world - in the end - will turn to the Savior of the world and be found of Almighty God and they each will have a particular place and position in Almighty God’s Kingdom Age (Isa. 2: 1-4, 11, Micah 4:1-4, Zech 14, Rev. 19:11-21). Oh my dear friend, Almighty God has a glorious and wondrous plan and even the wrath of man and the Wrath of Almighty God - in the end - will bring glory to Almighty God and salvation to those who put their trust in Him. Egypt is a great example of this. As we see Egypt changing leaders and being made more radical, understand that they will be brought down very low and will cry out to the Savior of the world and He will HEAR them and deliver them as we have just looked at in Isaiah 19:16-25).

The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!!

The George Zimmerman Trial and the Resurrection of The Lord Jesus Christ

The George Zimmerman trial (relating to the death of Trayvon Martin) in the summer of 2013 became a matter of national attention, and many Americans followed this trial very closely.

This case can be used as an illustration of the amazing amount of evidence we have for the resurrection of Christ.

The jurors had to decide whether Zimmerman acted in self defense and a lot of this hinged on whether he was on top or on the bottom when these two men were struggling together.

There was only one witness who was close enough to really see what really happened and he testified that George Zimmerman was on the bottom.

The testimony of this one witness was crucial in determining the final verdict. The testimony of this one eye-witness was very significant in this case.

Now consider the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The resurrection was the greatest proof that Jesus Christ was everything He claimed to be. How do we know that Jesus Christ was indeed the Son of God; the resurrection is the greatest proof (Romans 1:3-4).

So what is the evidence? How many eye-witnesses could come forward and testify that they saw Jesus alive from the dead?

(Not necessarily in chronological order)

There was Mary Magdalene, the first to see Him (John 20:14-18).

Then there was Peter (1 Cor. 15:5).

Then the two men on the road to Emmaus (Luke 24).

Then the 10 disciples with Thomas absent (John 20:19-23).

Then to the 11 disciples when doubting Thomas became convinced Thomas (John 20:24-29).

Then to 7 disciples on the sea of Galilee (John 21:1-11).

Then there was James, the Lord’s half brother (1 Cor. 15:7).

And then in Galilee he appeared to over 500 people at one time (1 Cor. 15:6).

Then later you had Saul of Tarsus (Acts 9).

So you had well over 500 witnesses who could have testified that they had seen the living Christ, and some of these witnesses had seen Him on more than one occasion (Peter, for example, saw Him on five difference occasions or more).

If there had been a court case back then and if these witnesses had been called to testify, the jury would have had overwhelming evidence that Jesus rose again from the dead. How can anyone dispute the testimony of over 500 people who saw the Lord on a number of different occasions?

In the Martin/Zimmerman case there was only one witness who saw the struggle and who gave compelling evidence that helped to sway the jury.

How can anyone dispute the testimony of over 500 people who saw the Lord on a number of different occasions?

In the case of the empty tomb there were over 500 eye witnesses. A person has every right to doubt the resurrection of Christ, but only if he is willing to close his eyes to the massive mountain of evidence which proves that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

These are not the only witnesses that could have been brought forward. There are countless thousands of other people who were not eyewitnesses of the resurrection, and yet who could genuinely testify to the fact that their lives have been transformed by the risen Christ. Are you one of those?

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shall be saved!" (Rom. 10:9).

The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!
