The Nobel Peace Delusion and the True Prince of Peace

To the surprise of the majority of Americans and the entire world, on 10/9/09 U.S. President Barak H. Obama was chosen to receive this year’s Nobel Peace Prize. Today Obama received his "prestigious" leftist award just nine days after ordering 30,000 more U.S. troops into battle in Afghanistan.

It is no secret to any who follow politics or world events on the Right that the Nobel Peace Prize Foundation is an elitist, secular liberal body with a secular liberal utopian vision for the world and pushes a godless leftist agenda (Isaiah 30:1). The past recipients of this Award undoubtedy reveal this organization’s leftist leanings.

All one has to do is to listen to President Obama’s acceptance speech today to understand it was chock full of globalistic overtones. There was every kind of “-ism” to be heard, including ecumenicalism, pluralism, universalism, secularism, delusional fallen humanism, absurd optimism (see Psalm 146:3; Isaiah 2:22; Jer. 17:5; Rom 5:12-19). Most tellingly, there was absolutely no acknowledgement of Almighty God the Creator of all that is in the Heavens and the Earth. Highly conspicuous for its absence was any mention of the God of Truth and Reality (see Gen. 18:25; Deut 32:4; John 4:24; 14:6-7).

Much like the United Nations, the Nobel Foundation honors those that are hostile towards Judean/ Christian values, the true foundational/ constitutional establishment of the United States of America, and God’s chosen people, the nation of Israel (Gen. 12:1-3; Deut. 7:6).

To quote Rush Limbaugh today (10/9/09) from his golden EIB microphone:

“Now, look, folks, here's the real issue. The bigger issue here is how the left-wing global elite is manipulating Obama from the United Nations to the Nobel committee to capitals in Europe, and that's exactly what this award is. It's an attempt to manipulate Obama to the detriment of the United States. They know that they have a kindred spirit, a leftist radical -- and they are using invitations for speeches and praise, and now the peace prize to help motivate him, to keep him on the path he's on toward destroying the United States of America as a world superpower.”

Well said, Mr. Limbaugh!

Be Not Deceived!

By the reception of this highly prestigious leftist award, many will be deceived and see this prize as vindication and affirmation of President Obama to push a leftist agenda here in the United States, aided and abetted by a leftist, Democratically-controlled House and Senate, and a leftist secular media (1 Tim. 4:1-2; 2 Tim. 3:1-7).

This agenda consists of the final removal and eradication of the United States’ Judean/ Christian heritage and its founding laws as a Democratic Republic. This will pave the way for these statists to conform America into a new secular state as a complying member of the new secular, socialistic global community.

The Promoter of a “Bizarro” Peace

The Master of this whole global movement is none other than Lucifer (or Satan), the god of this world (Eph. 2:1-3). He alone is the Master Tactician behind the affairs of this world (Luke 4:5-6). Almighty God’s Word states:

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Eph 6:12).

The key today is clearly this: We need to understand where America stands in light of Satan’s godless agenda and his ever-energetic building of his global community which excludes the presence of Almighty God (Revelation 13). A strong United States of America - with its heritage that was founded on the Bible and Judean/ Christian values - stands firmly in the way of Satan’s global ambitions of a unified “base” humanity that will worship him and his global Fascist Minion (Anti-Christ) to come (Rev. 13:4, 8, 12, 14).

The Anti-Christ will use peace as a basis of his scheme for global unification and domination. He will make bold promises and arrange a 7-year peace treaty between the surrounding world nations and Israel, but he breaks his promise and instead brings destruction and desolation to God’s chosen people before he himself is judged (Dan. 8:23-25; 9:27). The one who judges him will be none other than Christ Himself, the true Prince of Peace (Isa. 9:6), who is also called the “King of Kings, and Lord of Lords” (Rev. 19:15-16).

His Leftist destroyers have almost completed their assignment as Lucifer’s wrecking ball. Our nation is bound to collapse under the weight of our error and transgressions into a pile of rubble. Once the United States - the major world "Superpower" - is removed, his push will be towards Israel and global Anti-Semitism (Zech. 13:8-9; 14:2; Matt. 24:9, 15-22; Rev. 12:13-17). The final blows to America's heritage and Superpower status will most likely come from this present Leftist-controlled Congress and the Obama Administration - who are fascist at their heart. Dare To Look Into The Eyes Of The Beast of Reality

My friend, take a good look into the eyes of the beast of reality. What hope do you see for humanity? If we dare to be objective and real with ourselves, what we will see is absolute despair, hopelessness and doom for mankind. The delusional appraisal of optimism cannot sustain the weight of the reality at hand. Only Almighty God can deliver one from the devastating consequences of the godless out workings of fallen man. All these things must be and come to pass in fulfillment of God’s infallible Word.

The Only Peace Solution

My friend, do you know the Savior of the world the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior? He alone can deliver you from the devastating consequences of man and from the wrath to come on this ungodly world. He alone is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6, Eph 2:14, Rev 19:11-21). Human (Rom 5:12-19) peace is a delusion and a lie with out Jesus Christ. Almighty God sent His Son to rescue all who call upon Him. No one is left out. All are summoned; all are called to the cross to repent of their transgression and sins against Almighty God.

God so loved you that He sent His Son to die in your place so that you can live forever with Him and enjoy Him forever (John 3:16-17)! My friend, I do not know how to say anything more wonderful than that!! Won’t you place your trust in God through the Lord Jesus Christ today.

A Brief Biblical Perspective on the Lisbon Treaty and the New E.U. Presidency

The Lisbon Treaty is Ratified

The Lisbon Treaty is a reformatted "treaty" to replace the constitution thatfailed ratification owing to the French and Dutch rejection of it a few years ago. As is typical for the EU, they merely repackaged it, renamed it, and passed it by having the individual nation's parliaments approved it, instead of allowing the people to vote on it (Ireland was an exception to this). Jean Monnet, the true founder of the EU, suggested that to obtain passage of significant matters in the EU; never allow the people to vote onthe issue. That advice is now being followed by the current EU leaders.

This treaty increases the central power of the EU and limits the sovereignty of the individual nations within the EU. Additionally, it creates a President of the European Council and a High Representative of ForeignAffairs and Security.


The EU Branches of Government


Recall that the EU consists of three primary branches of government: The European Council, the European Commission, and the European Parliament. Only the latter is an elected body.

The new president will act as moderator at the meetings of the Council -which consists of the heads of state of the 27 countries in the EU. The Council is the policy-making branch of the EU (in some ways more of a figure head role owing to the lack of a single voice and cohesive purpose among the 27 states).

The Commission also has a president, Jose Manuel Barroso. He directs the 27 commissioners who are appointed by each of the 27 countries. The unelected Commission is the most powerful branch owing to its lawmaking authority. Barroso is the most powerful man in the EU. The Parliament is more of a policy discussion arena and its powers arelimited. Members of the Parliament are elected by the vote of the people of the EU.

Finally, the new High Representative deals with Foreign Affairs as representative of the Council. Additionally, the High Representative is given the position of Deputy (Vice) President of the Commission and Head of External Affairs. The appointment of Britain's Baroness Cathy Ashton to this position moves her into the second most powerful position in the EU.

The New President

As I have said many times on Jimmy DeYoung's Prophecy Today radio program (available on the Internet), the selection of the new Council President would be a person who is relatively unknown in the EU. This ruled out former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, who sought the position.

Herman Van Rompuy, Belgian's Prime Minister will begin to serve in this position beginning on 1 January 2010. This quiet man is a capable administrator and facilitator. He is "well known as a consensus builder."The presidential position is undefined in the Treaty. Thus, I believed the first person chosen would be more of an administrator than a politician. I expected the choice to go to someone whose chief accomplishment would be todefine and implement direction for the leader of the EU. In effect, he mightactually pave the way to merge the position of Commission President with that of the Council President. Van Rompuy is just such a man who will "pull ideas together" for others to carry out. Additionally, I knew that Barroso would not want a rival for power and prestige; hence, a bureaucrat would bepreferred. Van Rompuy fits the "bill."

In order to limit the size of this paper, I will not go into any length on this man except to note that the duties and procedures he creates ultimately could result in the demise of individual state sovereignty by diminishing the influence of the Council members. It is possible that with the High Representative being a member of the Commission also, that ultimately the Council would be seen as redundant and would be merged with the Commission. This MAY suggest an aspect of how the Antichrist could ultimately overcome three "kings" of the ten regions. Van Rompuy is a strong supporter of the EU as planned by Jean Monnet.

Monnet's goal was global government without individual sovereign states, asupra-national government. Van Rompuy also will be a strong voice in thearea of climate change. More on this in a later opinion paper. (Please let me know if you find these opinion papers helpful.)

The High Representative

With the rejection of Blair and in recognition of the City of London's significant financial influence in the EU, a Brit was chosen to be the High Representative. Just 13 months ago Ashton was a junior member in the British Cabinet. She is now the foreign representative for the EU foreign policy for half a billion people.

Prior to her appointment, "her most notable success was in pushing throughthe ratification of the Lisbon treaty in the face of intense Tory (British political party opposing the treaty and Prime Minister - ed.) opposition."("The Great EU Stitch-Up,” The Guardian, 20 Nov. 2009).

In her new position she will establish a single diplomatic corps for the EU,ultimately replacing the individual 27-country corps. Under the new department, visas would be issued for the single nation of Europe. I believe this will be when US missionaries will be forced to re-apply for visas and in all likelihood will be denied and forced to return to the US. The EU is against true Bible-believing churches and missions. Thus, our missionaries in Europe must be training nationals to take over the ministry. We, back in the States, must support our missionaries in this task by our prayer and financial support.

Additionally, she will be in charge of security - that means ultimately an EU army under a single head. When fully implemented, this new diplomatic department will speak for Europe and hold the UN seat. This trend if followed will lead to the end of the individual states of Europe and be the potential basis for a worldwide, global government.

Valery Giscard d'Estaing, the man who presided over the writing of theEuropean Constitution (now the Lisbon Treaty) said that this new position would bring a great change into the operation of foreign affairs for Europe.He said in 2007, that such a position would "respond to the famous telephone calls of Henry Kissinger: 'I want to speak to Europe.'" ("The Mystery Rise of Lady Ashton," Eurosoc, 27 Nov. 2009). Lady Ashton will speak, as a single voice, for Europe.

Key to the power of this position is the fact that Ashton will develop the EU's Common Security Policy. This same woman is under a British pressenquiry into her Communist Party links in Britain ("Lady Ashton, CND, the Soviets and M15" Eurosoc, 27 Nov 2009). Some of the EU member states that were former Russian satellites are concerned over this past.

In summing up the future role, Britain's former Europe Minister Denis MacShane was quoted: "While big nations will hang on to their pretensions to being foreign policy powers, bit by bit, the blue and yellow flag of Europe will represent the smaller nations of Europe in far-flung parts of the world." (Eurosoc). Britain's Prime Minister said that Lady Ashton is now our voice in "the global Europe of the future." (Eurosoc).

Eurosoc summarizes her appointment as follows:"A 'global Europe of the future.' The embassies are being staffed; European Flags continue to be hoisted over consulates outside the continent. A chair is being prepared at the United Nations, ready for Britain's career appointee to begin to build the future Euro-Empire, with the Prime Ministeralready having declared that Lady Ashton is now our voice in the world."

A final note, in her new position she will have to work closely with Barroso. The Guardian newspaper noted that Barroso was "keen to promote Aston to the foreign policy post." They will be a powerful team to bring the EU to a position as a global empire.

The key point of the recent events is that the EU is now in the position to speak with united, single European voice in political, financial, global, and foreign affairs. Depending upon the abilities of the key powers in the EU, its long struggle to become a world power may finally be accomplished. The ratification of the Treaty, the prominent position of Barroso and Ashtonin a "crisis ridden" world, combined with the general decline of the US in the world's eyes, sets the stage for a new world empire to arise. While theworld ignored these developments, the EU is pressing on to its goal of a global supra-national government symbolized by its Parliament building designed after the Tower of Babel. The EU is a potential candidate that fits the prime characteristic of the final empire described in Daniel 7:23.

Searching In Vain For A Black Cat In The Dark

NASA’s recent rocket launch into the south pole of the moon was to see if water was underneath the moon's surface. This little fact finding mission has cost the American tax payers roughly 79 million dollars. A 79 million dollar search for the answers that Almighty God’s Word states for absolutely free. One of the key reasons for this extravaganza was for the search of water for supporting a colony on the moon. NASA and its followers believe if water can be found on the moon or on any planet, that they can prove that “life” can existed in other worlds. There are many in the scientific community today that believe that extra terrestrial life exists and that they will be our saviors to our world and our mentors for our future. This expectation by the evolutionist community might sound strange to some but it is their earnest hope.

NASA - which is a government secular organization that promotes and breathes Darwinism, holds firmly to the absolutely ridiculous core beliefs of the theory of evolution. They reject passionately the reality that Almighty God created the heavens and the earth, especially in seven days and about six thousand years ago (Gen 1:1, Psalm 90:2, Isa. 45:18). They are the chief opponents to any teaching that contradicts their reprobate philosophy and ideology and are quite aggressive towards any who would want to teach creationism. These profess to be the off spring of time and chance and the descendants of hydrogen and monkeys. This alone takes more faith then anything that I can possible think of.

The Evolutionist use and twist the wonderful natural laws of science created by Almighty God to promote the worshipful practice of Darwinism in their never ending quest and pursuit for answers to their vain godless philosophy (Rom 1:21-22).

The laws of cause and effect contradict this godless secular humanistic reasoning but facts and reality are no object when one has their hearts bent on a alternative reality (Jer. 17:9).

Looking in the Dark for Something That Is Not There

The majority of humanity are no different (Roms 5:12-19). Mankind is searching for a black cat, in a dark room, with black painted walls, with a broken flash light with out batteries and the black cat does not even exist. This expedition is the ultimate tragic quest of vanity and futility. Generation upon generation has come up empty - as history can attest to in this never ending search for answers and meaning (Eccl, Isa 59:8-9).

Apart from Almighty God, how will lost mankind ever find meaning and the answers to life's mysteries? My friend, when one rejects Almighty God’s Word of truth, honestly, what hope does one have in this savage world? How tragic will it be for those in the end when absolute reality must be honored by all those who absolutely despise and reject it for all eternity (Phil 2:10-11, 2 Thess. 2:9-12, Jude 1:8, Rev 21:27).

When humanity rejects Almighty God’s Holy Spirit, His witness of Creation’s glories, His infallible Word and the witness of man’s own conscious, the tragic result is a delusion vanity and absolute ruin (Romans 1:18-32, Matt 25:41, Rev 20:10-15).

No one knows this more than King Solomon of old. King Solomon possessed it all: wisdom, brilliance, discernment, authority, prestige, riches/ wealth, property/ possessions, power, fame, women and glory. Amazingly, as he was reflecting on his life in his last days, he made this very sobering and tragic statement: “Vanity of vanities… all is vanity”

Man is all that Almighty God will keep when all is said and done. The vast glorious creation of the celestial heavens (sky and space) and the wonders here on planet earth and its nature laws of science will all be removed and destroyed ( 2 Peter 3:7,10) for a New Heavens and Earth that is without corruption and ruin (Isa 65:17, 1 Peter1:4, Rev 21:1 -27).

Almighty God offers reality (truth) and hope to all that call upon him.

Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else (Isa 45:22).

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6).

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life (John 8:12).

The endless quest in vanity and its futile answers cease when one turns to Almighty God and His saving grace that is found only in the Person of His dear Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Do you know the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? He alone can set you free from the darkness of this godless world system (John 8:32, 36). He has all the answers and has all the solutions you will ever need. He offers you a life of purpose and a heavenly calling that will last for ever (2 Cor. 5:17-21, Thess. 1:9). Won’t you place your trust in Him today? You will never be the same!

WHY ARE THE FOOLISH IN CHARGE OF AMERICA?

Conservative web journalists and radio talk show hosts are beside themselves at the stupidity of the Obama administration, and rightly so. We, too, bewail the squander of America's wealth, the weakening of her military, the traitorous, despicable mishandling of the CIA, the celebration of moral wickedness, the encroachment of constitutional liberties, the blind commitment to environmental myths, and so much more. While Bush conducted a war on terrorism (though he didn't really take off the gloves), Obama appears to be conducting a war on the war on terrorism.

All of these things, though, are mere symptoms of a deeper problem, one that very few of the conservative pundits understand. America's root problem is the apostasy and compromise of her churches. The problem is not in the White House; it is in God's house. America is not a Christian nation, but America was founded largely by church-going, God-fearing people and the majority of her citizens are still professing Christians.

The root of America's woes is spiritual. The people don't fear God because the churches don't preach the fear of God. For that reason the issue can't be solved by political action and moralistic crusades and Republican or Libertarian rants. I am thankful for the watchdog role of the conservative media and for the fact that there is a viable alternative media today, but the best thing Bible-believing Christians can do to help America is to seek God's face and purify our individual lives and congregations and keep our focus on Christ's Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).

A man that has not submitted himself to the gospel of Jesus Christ but who follows false religion such as Catholicism (Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, Laura Ingraham, Michael Reagan), Judaism (Michael Medved, Mark Levin, and Dennis Prager), and Mormonism (Glenn Beck), or who believes the Bible contains myths and denies Christ's blood atonement (Rush Limbaugh and Neal Boortz) does not have the spiritual wisdom necessary to understand the times, and Bible believers would be wise not to drink deeply of such wells.

"Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him. As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths" (Isaiah 3:11-12).

If the biblical churches in America would take this matter seriously and call for some special prayer meetings, for fasting and earnest prayer, falling on their faces and confessing their sins, God would probably hear and turn back the tide of wickedness and give us more years. Instead, though, for the most part it is business as usual, and if anything at all is being done it is a misguided attempt to address the situation according to the flesh rather than the spirit, by politics and rantings and anger and fear and frustration and worldly demonstrations and unscriptural associations.

"For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds" (2 Corinthians 10:4).

And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof" (Rom. 13:11-14)."

Yes, we need to pray earnestly for on going freedom in our land to preach the Word and share the Gospel. May the Lord bless you.

The Base World of David Letterman and Hollywood

In light of the recent and base actions of David Letterman – which few are condemning in the liberal media – Mr. Letterman once again mocked Sarah Palin and made her the butt of his humor and sarcasm. I think it’s “funny” that Letterman has shown absolutely no remorse nor a hint of shame in the recent exposure of his adulterous scandal. The only remorse from Letterman has been that he was exposed and caught as an adulterer. It is just regarded as a joke and something to laugh at. In the godless, delusional Bizarro world of reprobate Hollywood, he has every right to indulge in his base, unbridled passions and to scoff at and slander any who would hold him accountable. Thus far Letterman has worn this as a “badge of honor,” and along with those who enjoy this secular reprobate’s late night show has played it as great sport. In fact, Letterman’s ratings the last couple of nights have been quite good.

In the base world of David Letterman, morality and absolutes do not exist. He rejects moral boundaries and absolutes, and in his reprobate mind any who profess and practice them are evil. Mr. Letterman despises Judean/ Christian values and any who hold them dear. Those in this category are usually made the butt of his jokes.

As mentioned earlier, one of Letterman’s favorite targets is Sarah Palin. Mrs. Palin is a Bible-believing Christian, a conservative Republican who is pro-life, a happily married mother of five children, and she is a great American success story. Only last night - a day after Letterman’s licentious and empty-hearted apology - Letterman took the stage to clear the air and chose to once again lash out against Sarah Palin and her soon to be released
number one memoir Going Rogue: An American Life. Over the next two weeks Letterman plans to count down from 15 in a series entitled, “Things more fun than reading Sarah Palin's Memoir,” using his trademark lewd and sarcastic humor (see Ecclesiastes 7:6).

What a little tiny man Mr. Letterman is to deflect from his own Late Night licentious dealings and folly to slander and mock one who practices faith in Almighty God, Judean/ Christian values, morality, and holds to a conservative ideology. The very ideals he hates (John 3:19-20) are the ideals which condemn Lettermen’s actions and weigh heavily on his guilty conscience. How else would one expect Mr. Letterman to react in light of his base actions and exposed infidelities?

Listen to what the Bible teaches about such individuals as David Letterman:

But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves (Jude 1:10).

But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption (2 Peter 2:12).

Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things (Phil 3:19).

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them (Roman 1:28-32).

The Bizarro World of Hollywood

Letterman is just one of many in the “bizarro world” culture of Hollywood’s elites who love to pontificate against any who practice morality and faith in Almighty God, while promoting the basest ideals (e.g., adultery and multiplying marriages) and glorifying them. They actually see themselves as role models and cultural trend-setters to be followed and worshiped in lockstep. Hollywood’s glamorization and glorification of youthful beauty and human talent are just a thin veil of flesh housing the septic tank stench of their shallow soul and their deeds (Jer. 17:9; Matt. 15:16-20; Jude 1:10). Many today are deceived by this attractive cloak. They see only the tangible, visible appearance while they are blind to their wicked heart and godless actions (1 Tim 4:1-3; 2 Tim 3:1-6; Jude 1:4).

"Woe unto you Hollywood!"

Woe unto you Hollywood! Woe unto all that call evil good and good evil (Isaiah 5:20). They will not get by with it, and they will find it most sobering when having to give an account in the Day of Judgment to Almighty God! (Rev 20:11-15)

It is our sincere desire that those in Hollywood - including Mr. Letterman - would turn from their godless ways and look to Almighty God for His grace, mercy and forgiveness. All of God’s children who have been redeemed in Christ have done so and can testify to this fact (2 Cor. 5:17-19; Gal. 1:4, Eph. 2:1-9).

In the end, Christ will either be our Savior or our Judge. It is our personal choice. Which one will you choose?
