Global Warming. The Bible Has The Answer


















Almost overnight, the concept of man-made global warming has become an accepted fact. Debate on this issue is rarely tolerated and millions of people are fearful that man’s activities are leading to a gradual global catastrophe. Cries to reduce auto emissions, burn less fossil fuels and shrink our carbon footprint have made people uncertain what the future holds for planet earth.

The Bible however, speaks quite clearly of God’s sovereign control over the earth’s climate. Jesus said, “That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust” (Matthew 5:45) God promised Noah, “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease” (Genesis 8:22) This pattern of cyclical seasons has been faithfully kept by God since the Genesis Flood.

But the phrase, “while the earth remaineth,” warns of a future day spoken of by the Apostle Peter : “But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men” (2 Peter 3:7) Peter was simply echoing the Old Testament Psalmist who wrote, “Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands. They shall perish, but thou shall endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed: But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end” (Psalm 102:25-27).

Peter further warned, “The day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up” (2 Peter 3:10) While this will certainly be global warming, it will neither be gradual nor the result of auto emissions.

What then is the reason for God’s coming judgment? While He walked the earth the Lord Jesus Christ never warned of the effects of environmental pollution but rather of the inward pollution of a person’s heart. “For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies” (Matthew 15:19) The Lord’s mission was clearly stated by the Apostle Paul when he wrote in the book of Galatians, Jesus Christ “gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God our Father (Galations 1:4)

The Bible declares Jesus Christ is both Creator and Redeemer. “He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name” (John 1:10-12)

Yes, Christ’s work when He shed His blood on Calvary ’s Cross can save a sinner from God’s righteous judgment. And if the Lord will save those who trust Him from an immoral and bankrupt heart, how much more shall He save them from the wrath to come? Won’t you trust Him today?

For, “if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” (Romans 10:9)

Him for You









My friend, let me ask you this very sobering and pertinent question. Do you possess the absolute perfection (righteousness) within yourself that is required to enter Almighty God’s RIGHTEOUS heaven? The answer is a very obvious and sobering, “No, you do not.” How will you then enter into ETERNITY and meet it's perfect and righteous demands?

Almighty God has made provision for you in the Person of His Son, Jesus Christ sending Him for you. God’s Word states:

For he (God) hath made him (Christ) to be sin for us, who knew no sin (Christ); that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. (2 Cor. 5:21)

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. (Romans 10:4)

But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption.
(1 Cor. 1:30)

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. (John 3:36)

Will you take God at His Word today and put your trust and faith in Jesus Christ alone? He alone has all the remedies for your imperfect human condition. He alone will provide you with the perfect righteousness needed to secure your eternal future. Put your absolute trust in him today! You will never be the same!

A DAY TO REMEMBER THEIR SACRIFICE!















WHEN? In at least 10 major wars, in 18+ conflict situations from the 1898 Spanish American War to the Persian Gulf War and even to the present War on Terrorism, which is like no other war.

WHO? More than 1,000,000 lives in the 10 major wars given up for something of greater value, something having a more pressing claim.

WHY? Not to aggressively seek to get or to gain what someone else has, whether it be land, power or wealth (see James 4:1-3), but to DEFEND our nation “and secure the Blessing of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America” which is being threatened from within and from without. God's Word opposes internationalism because a one world government opens the door to the total control of a society by a system which cannot and will not do right of and by itself. See Genesis 11:1-9 and Revelation chapters 17-18.

GOD'S WORD teaches that nations are for restraining and maintaining a balance of power among nations for peaceful existence. A nation may be led to want or to possess what belongs to other nations, but they are hindered from such because of other nations. Each nation is able to maintain the God-given privilege of choosing God and His Word, of marriage, of family, of law and order. The nations, consisting of families, have the right to defend their territories.

GEORGE WASHINGTON told his troops: “The time is near at hand which must probably determine whether Americans are to be freemen or slaves; whether they are to have any property they can call their own; whether their houses and farms are to be pillaged and destroyed, and themselves consigned to a state of wretchedness from which no human effort will deliver them. The fate of unborn millions will now depend, under God, on the courage and conduct of this army.”

BENJAMIN FRANKLIN: “Liberty will not descend to a people, a people must raise themselves to liberty.” DANIEL WEBSTER: “God grants liberty only to those who love it and are always ready to defend it.” PATRICK HENRY: “Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery?”

PRINCIPLE: When those who know and remember fail to teach and to display to the following generation their rights, responsibilities and privileges, it is only a matter of time until they, by neglect, fail to appreciate and guard the freedoms American men and women have paid for with the loss of their lives and the loss of their limbs (Judges 2:7, 10, 11).

As the nation of Israel had the right to choose life and blessing in their land and lives (Deut. 30:19-20) because of the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ (Isaiah 53; Lev. 16-17), so we can choose Him and the resultant LIFE and BLESSING by an act of our own will: “But as many as received HIM, to them gave HE power to become the sons [children] of God, even to them that believe on His Name.” “He that hath the Son hath LIFE; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” John 1:12; 1 John 5:12.

Memorial Day in Light of Our Day

This Memorial Day we think of those who gave their last full measure on our behalf as Americans; to preserve our freedoms and liberties, which only come from Almighty God (John 8:32, 36, Gal. 1:4, 3:13, 5:1, Titus 2:14). There can NEVER be TRUE liberty without a saving relationship to our Creator and apart from the firm adherence to Almighty God's moral absolutes (Prov. 14:34). Our Founding Fathers knew this to be true and have communicated it to us in their writings and in our nation's birth certificate. Today, America has full well rejected our founder's vision and have squandered the precious shed blood of the brave American soldier. Their shed blood was shed to preserve our nation's founding ideals and to preserve our nation for future generations. Our nation today has overthrown and replaced our Founding Father's vision and has hijacked the supreme sacrifice of the American solider in the pursuit to legalize lawlessness, tyranny, lewdness, perversion, decadence, political correctness, relativism, anti- Judeo/Christian values and anti-Americanism.

For us Americans today, who truly still remember and honor our nation's founding and understand the American soldier's supreme sacrifice in the context of true Americanism, today is a most holy day.

This day is set apart in our hearts and minds to remember our nation's soldier's supreme sacrifice and selflessness and to never forget it, while we have breath in our nose. We are to pass along their remembrance and to teach our children that they would know of their valor, comprehend their sacrifice and NEVER forget.

In light of this Memorial Day I cannot help but take it to the ETERNAL level and think on the SUPREME and ULTIMATE sacrifice on behalf of the whole world, which shall endure FOREVER and transcends the limited confines of time and ETERNITY (Isa. 53, John 1:29, 3:16-17, 1 Peter 1:18-19, Rev. 1:5, 4:9-10).

There is ONLY One who is RIGHTEOUS and GAVE himself for the sins and transgressions of the whole world. That One is the Son of Almighty God Jesus Christ. The Bible states;

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved" (John 3:16-17).

"For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit" (1 Peter 3:18).

As we see lawlessness abounding in these present days with no end in sight, may your heart be looking to the Savior of mankind. All of our HOPE is found in Him.

It is absolutely crucial for your ETERNITY. He will deliver you from ALL of your transgressions against the ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS absolutes of Almighty God and the lawlessness of your heart (Jer 17:9). May you place your trust in Him today! You will NEVER be the same!
