Sorry Death and Halloween - There is ONLY One Who ETERNALLY Rose From the Dead

Beloved, as the world celebrates Halloween, filling the night with images of death, darkness, ghosts, and the dead coming back to life, there is only ONE who truly conquered death and rose again in ETERNAL RIGHTEOUSNESS: JESUS CHRIST, the Son of the living God! Throughout human history, death has been the unavoidable consequence of sin (Romans 6:23). Yet, Jesus Christ, the eternally righteous One who knew no sin, willingly entered our fallen world to bear our sins upon the cross. He died, was buried, and rose again on the third day, just as the Scriptures foretold (1 Corinthians 15:3–4). Unlike Lazarus and others who were raised only to die again, Jesus Christ rose never to die again! Death has no more dominion over Him (Romans 6:9). He declares in Revelation 1:18, “I died, and behold I am alive FOREVERMORE, and I have the keys of Death and Hades.” He is not merely someone who returned from the dead; He is the ETERNAL LORD OF LIFE, who FOREVER conquered sin, death, and the grave!

As the world celebrates Halloween, filling the night with images of death, darkness, ghosts, and the dead coming back to life, there is only ONE who truly conquered death and rose again in ETERNAL RIGHTEOUSNESS: JESUS CHRIST, the Son of the living God! 

While the world makes entertainment out of death and darkness, Almighty God offers ETERNAL LIFE through His risen Son! Jesus declared, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live” (John 11:25). His resurrection is God's glorious declaration that Christ's righteous sacrifice for our sins is finished and sufficient forever! He is the only Savior, the only Way, the only Truth, and the only Life (John 14:6). To all who receive Him by faith, He gives the ETERNAL gift of becoming children of God (John 1:12), passing from death into life (John 5:24). What a glorious contrast! The world celebrates the imagery of death for a night, but Jesus Christ offers victory over death for ETERNITY! The greatest truth is not that the dead might return, but that THE ETERNALLY RIGHTEOUS ONE HAS RISEN, IS ALIVE FOREVERMORE, AND OFFERS HIS ETERNAL LIFE TO ALL WHO WILL BELIEVE IN HIM! (John 3:16; 1 John 5:11–13). 

Dear friend, do you personally know the Lord of ETERNAL Life as your sin-bearer and Savior? That is the question we ask on this Halloween night! May it be so! Our ETERNAL future is to be like Him in RIGHTEOUSNESS FOREVER! Beloved, it goes ETERNALLY way beyond ghosts, goblins, and zombies!

For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. 54 When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” 55 “O death, where is your victory?

O death, where is your sting?” 56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ! 1 Cor. 15:53-57
