The World's Media War Against Israel

Of Late, Syria has been seeking to bate Israel into a PR trap in which to deceive the world's inhabitants and to create the false perception that Israel is a violent aggressor towards Syrian and Palestinian protesters. This effort by Syria comes in light of the comments from the most anti-Israeli President the United States has ever had, in which Obama stated, "Israel must go back to the original 1967 borders."

Remember the flotilla PR stunt staged by the enemies of Israel should not be a surprise to any. We have in place “as usual” the manufactured “innocent victims” and anti –Israeli props to be marketed to the world for maximum effect. It would seem that the Obama Administration has drunk the Hamas "Kool - aid" and has continued its anti Israeli policy.

The flotilla was organized by IHH (Insani Yardim Vakfi - "humanitarian relief fund"), a Turkish aid foundation which has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, and global jihadi networks, as well as mujahideen groups in Afghanistan. It openly supports Hamas; members of Hamas had boarded boats at the Gaza coast and were waiting to "receive" the flotilla.

There has been an ongoing effort in the liberal, secular Mainstream Media here in the United States and in the Global Media abroad to demonize Israel at every opportunity. As I was following the many different news outlets especially during the recent Gaza War, I was astounded over the anti-Israeli bias. This bias was so blatantly obvious that even a fan of MSNBC couldn’t miss it. The Mainstream Media was hell-bent on slamming Israel on all fronts of the war in Gaza, and Hamas, Iran and Syria knows this all to well.

Now the Mainstream Media once again have joined forces with the Obama administration to go after Israel concerning Israel's current established borders. How much does Israel have to give away to their enemies to gain the world’s favor? How about... every thing! When it comes down to it, there is nothing that Israel can do right in the eyes of the world's fascist dictators and secular socialistic leaders. These continue to hammer Israel on almost every occasion and on every front. The PR (Public Relations) war has become the most destructive of all wars. It seeks to plant the seeds of Anti -semitism and anti - Israeli opinion on the world's masses. From these seeds come forth hatred, terrorism and wars. We will see later how this public relations war is setting the stage for the grand global epic of "The Battle of Armageddon".

The Hamas leadership is brilliant when it comes to fighting a PR (Public Relations) war. All events and casualties are carefully scripted and choreographed for maximum effect. They purposely place women and children in key locations, knowing that they will be destroyed. These are leaders of a cultural ideology of violence and death. Hamas and the Arab world know they cannot beat Israel militarily. That fact has been proven several times since 1948. The only way to cause damage is to slander them by way of today’s media outlets. They have succeeded with the 24/7 cable TV news outlets, newspapers, magazines and the Internet to endlessly bombard the world’s daily followers with their anti-Israel propaganda. Their objective is to continually sway public opinion in their favor and to grant legitimacy to their hatred and plans for the annihilation of Israel.

The Palestinians have been the pawns of the Arab world since 1948. They have been basically abandoned by the Arab world and mainly used as a thorn in Israel’s side for promoting the destruction of that nation. There is boundless proof to that statement.

It always seems to be the leftist, secular, liberal mindset that is quick to blame Israel for all the woes in the Middle East. This is not just a blanket statement. It is plainly obvious to anyone who pays attention. The United Nations, which is home to all the anti-Semitic nations of the world (including those that are Fascist, Communist, Secularist, Leftist/ Socialist and Marxist), has continually voted against Israel on almost every occasion. The sole exception has been the United States. Israel’s back is truly against the wall. America, with its Judeo/ Christian roots, has always been a staunch supporter of Israel. However, have you noticed the continual anti-Israel positions taken by the radical left in this country including Obama? This is not just in the media but also in Washington D.C. As America moves ever more leftward, and the foundations of this once great nation deteriorate right before our eyes, how much longer will America support Israel? The answer is not much longer.

Why The Bias?

Without God’s Word and His Revelation, who would ever know? The Bible states: "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Eph.6:12). This is a key verse in understanding the present reality!

Today there is a great war raging for the hearts, souls and minds of men and women everywhere. This great war takes place in the spiritual realm, and Israel is a key piece to the success of the god of this world (i.e., Satan, the Devil, Lucifer). He must eradicate Israel (Rev. 12). All the promises of Almighty God are centered around Israel for the well-being of the nations and planet earth. Satan knows that if he can destroy Israel, he will have discredited Almighty God and thus justified in his vain rebellion. All Israel’s promises must come to pass, as Almighty God has stated in His Word, and they most certainly will!

Satan uses his God-given brilliance for one purpose and one purpose alone: a mad attempt to discredit his Creator and exalt himself above Him. Satan's Minions (demons) abound everywhere in the world today. Satan exerts diabolical control over the American Mainstream Media, the global media, leaders of world nations, The United Nations, etc (Luke 4:5,6). These individuals and organizations unknowingly do his will. He knows how to maneuver and appeal to their carnal (fleshly) fallen nature, which is governed by the five physical senses (sight, smell, taste, touch and hearing). The godless, secular liberal mindset is the most open to Satan's suggestions and the world media, leadership and peoples fit this category. Lucifer’s Godless, trend-setting agenda - which includes the destruction of Israel - is outworked in the physical realm. This evil agenda is accomplished by demonic activity throughout humankind, who are blinded in their unbelief and ignorance of Almighty God and His Word (2 Cor. 4:4, Eph. 2:1-3). These humans do his (Satan’s) will quite readily because they are the most susceptible to it.

In these prophetic last days before the Lord Jesus Christ’s return to earth to establish His glorious Kingdom with His throne located in Jerusalem (Psalm 48, Zech. 14:16), Israel, expect the Israel-bashing from an unbelieving, godless world to intensify until the commencement of the Battle of Armageddon (Psalm 2, Zech. 12:8-9, Rev. 16:13-16). Israel is a sign to the world that Almighty God and His Word are absolutely true and sure. In these days of great confusion and uncertainty, God is absolutely trustworthy! My friends, the world will soon say, “Israel must be destroyed!” Then will all nations go against Israel and Christ (The Messiah) will appear in the Heavens, coming in great power and glory to destroy Israel’s enemies! (Matt 24:29-30, Rev. 1:7, 19:11-21).

In these days of increasing anti Semitism, may Jew and Gentile find their hope and security in the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob and the Off Spring of David - Yeshua (Jesus) The Messiah.
May it be your sincere desire today to know the King of the Israel - The King of kings and Savior of the world - The Lord Jesus Christ.

The reality of this post from the Dakota Voice must be heeded to! There is absolutely no racism in reality and truth. It is our sincere desire (spoken in love) to cry out to these individuals and let them know beyond the shadow of a doubt that Almighty God LOVES them and has an ETERNAL plan and purpose for ALL of those of the inner city black community who are oppressed by their lawless deeds, the secular Left of this nation and the god of this world, Lucifer (John 8:32,36, Eph. 2:1-10). These individuals are caught in the endless cycle of lawlessness and violence and are headed to a Christ-less ETERNITY (Rom. 3:23, Rev. 20:11-14). Almighty God is NOT mocked (Gal. 6:7) or a respecter of persons. He will JUDGE ALL men by His Word and in His PERFECT ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS ABSOLUTES (Psalm 98:9, Matt. 12:36, Acts 17:13, Rom. 14:12, Heb. 9:27).

He sent His Son to rescue ALL from this present evil age (Gal. 1:4, 2 Cor. 5:17-21, 1 John 2:15-17) and to bring ALL unto Himself in RIGHTEOUSNESS and to enjoy Him FOREVER (John 3:16-17, Eph. 2:1-10, Rev 21, 22:1-5).

My friend, The Savior of the World cries out to you today, repent and place your trust in Me, who LOVED you and gave Myself for you (Rom. 10:2-4, Col 1:22, 1 Peter 3:18, Heb. 9:14). Will you turn your back on Him, the VERY One who gave Himself for you? Freedom is only a breath away! Oh my friend! Cry out to Him foe deliverance! You will NEVER, EVER be the same!

FREE at last, FREE at last. Only in Jesus, am I FREE at last! (Rom. 7:24-25)

What Mr. Hawking and his companions desperately need to know in this very hour is that the Creator of ALL the Universe came to planet earth 2000 years ago to died on the cross for the transgressions and violations of fallen man (including him) (John 1:1-12, Gal. 1:4, Heb 1:3, 2:9-10, Phil 2:6-11, Rev 5:12-13). These violations and transgressions are against the ETERNAL spiritual absolutes and the natural laws and absolutes for here in time - which Almighty God designed and created for this temporal created universe. Almighty God' sovereignty abides forever and ever, from ETERNITY past to ETERNITY future (Isa. 24:4). The chaos of this fading universe is because of man's transgressions, not the endless disorder of time and chance (Rom.8:20-22, Rev. 21).

God's creation – which includes his “created” vast universe - is just a finite temporal expression of His wondrous mighty power (Isaiah 45:18, Jeremiah 32:17, Hebrews 1:10-12). His created universe has NOT been from EVERLASTING and will NOT go on FOREVER (Psalm 102:25-27, Isaiah 65:17, 2 Peter 3:10, 13, 1 John 2:17, Rev. 21:1). This is not just ones “religious” or subjective and relative spiritual philosophy or perception. This is the ABSOLUTE REALITY in TRUTH and LOVE which is found ONLY in the Divine Creator of all (Psalm 119:160, Matt 5:18, Mark 13:31, John 17:17).

Mr. Hawking, May you humble your very proud heart and acknowledge your Creator this very moment and place your trust in Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. Only in Christ your Creator (Heb 1:2-3) is there found forgiveness and pardon for all of unregenerate humanity (Rom. 5:12-21, Gal. 1:4). You are NOT a product of time and chance but created in the very image of Almighty God (Gen. 1:27 - I will, I ought, etc) and fully accountable to Him (Matt. 12:36-37). Once you leave your body in death you will stand before the Lord of all in judgment. Be not a subjective scoffer full of bitterness but only believe! It is ONLY in Christ that is there hope for you to have a glorious future in PERFECT RIGHTEOUSNESS and HARMONY (Romans 10:4, 1 Cor. 1:3, 2:9, Titus 2:13, Rev 21, 22:1-5).

The Biblical Archaeological Review, by no means a conservative Christian magazine, recently published a surprising article by Yosef Garfinkel entitled, “The Birth and Death of Biblical Minimalism.” While Garfinkel limits his discussion to the last 30 years among certain modern archaeologists working at the University of Copenhagen, biblical minimalism is the general presumption that the Biblical text cannot be a trusted source of actual verifiable history, especially with regard to the authenticity of the Old Testament. Garfinkel shows in his article that the minimalist position is no longer a viable one. Too much archaeological evidence has been uncovered. While this has not and cannot prove the inerrancy of the biblical text, it is still a far cry from the German tidal wave of skepticism that inundated the modern world back in the 1800’s when Julius Wellhausen and Ferdinand Christian Bauer dominated historical studies of the Bible with their so-called ‘higher criticism.’

Garfinkel strongly shows that even King David and his kingdom can no longer be considered a myth. This brings modern scholarship all the way back to 1,000 B.C – only 200-400 years shy of Moses himself, the very founder of Israel as a nation. These archaeological truths have placed much pressure on the biblical minimalist position. They have now been forced to redefine the time of the Iron Age in order to maintain their skeptical legacy toward historicity of the Davidic kingdom. This is a far cry from the past when many a scholar just re-arranged the biblical chronology to suit their ‘higher critical’ theories superimposed on the biblical text. Time and time again, biblical minimalists have been forced to retreat from their earlier positions, only to stubbornly stop at some other line of reasoning. Repentance is thus awfully hard to come by, especially when confronted with the truth of the Bible.

Ever since German skepticism systematically spearheaded the attacks against biblical authenticity, the assumption was that much of the Old Testament was written much later than what the Hebrew text records about itself. Since the entire Hebrew Bible was not fully organized until after the Babylonian exile (500’s B.C.), it would therefore be impossible to say with any certainty whether or not the historical details described throughout much of the Old Testament actually occurred as the record indicates, “with that late date they would couple an ultra low view of the reality of that history, dismissing virtually the whole of it as pure fiction, as an attempt by the puny Jewish community in Palestine to write themselves an imaginary past as a form of national propaganda.”[i]

Many also presumed that the older Hebrew writings were based on untrustworthy oral traditions. The Hebrews were considered to be an uneducated, agrarian society who naively believed in miracles. This religious childishness thus made them incapable of a historical consciousness that could be considered reliable in terms of recording factual events. However, this assumption about Hebrew oral tradition has recently been proven to be another myth of the modern historical imagination. In 2005, archaeologists found a rock in a remote location in ancient Israel that had every letter of the Hebrew alphabet inscribed on it. It too can be dated as far back as 1,000 B.C. The remote location that this alphabet was found in shatters the idea that much of the Old Testament is largely based on oral tradition. The force of this evidence is truly profound – if the outback areas could write, then what of the larger cities?

Thanks to ‘higher critical’ theories, many modern historiographers have presumed that the Hebrews followed the Greek method of oral tradition in the writing of their holy books, never mind the fact that ancient Greek tradition had very little interest in history. Indeed, the Greeks did not jump onto the historical bandwagon until the 400’s B.C.[ii] with Herodotus, lagging far behind the Hebrews. Although occasional miracles do show up in the Bible from time to time, much of the entire Old Testament reads like a history book, very unlike ancient Greek mythological accounts. The Old Testament methodically goes through several thousand years of general and Jewish history from the beginning. It constantly pinpoints actual dates, eras, specific geographical locations and historical figures, along with a multitude of ancient names that would have been lost had it not been for the Hebrew Scriptures. Too many moderns have purposefully tried to associate Greek myths with Hebrew religion in order to dismiss the historical tradition of the latter. However, as the archaeological evidence of Old Testament Israel continues to mount with an ever increasing plethora of artifacts to draw from, it is now time for modern historians of all persuasions to face the fact that the Hebrew religion cannot be compared with Greek religion. It has become quite clear that the Hebrew record of miracles in the Old Testament has in no way clouded the historical judgment of the prophetic writers of Scripture with mythological distortions or religious propaganda.

Most importantly is that their truthfulness with regard to lesser issues like history and politics also strongly suggests that the ancient Hebrew religious beliefs may be just as authentic as well. Meaning that if the Hebrew writers were so good at telling the truth with regard to minor secular historical details, this further indicates that the religious miracles and the larger revelatory events surrounding those particular miracles may not be mythological as many have presumed. Still further – if Hebrew history is authentic, then what of its prophecies? Religion or myth cannot be bridged with history in ancient Greek religion, but the distance between these two camps in the Old Testament is anything but unbridgeable, and the faith required to build that bridge is not nearly as superstitious or irrational as the former would certainly be.

Isaiah the prophet largely began his prophetic ministry in the year King Uzziah died (Isaiah 6:1-13) and continued as such through the great international difficulties that characterized much of Judah’s reign under the kingly leadership of Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah (Isaiah 1:1). Simultaneously warning the nation of the looming Assyrian invasion that eventually devastated most of the nation coupled with the apocalyptic coming of a Messianic age that promised salvation for Israel in the future (Isaiah 1:1-2:4), Isaiah’s ministry was rooted in the historical realities of the day (Isaiah 36-39). He strongly applied the judgments of the Mosaic Law against the nation for her idolatrous Baalistic nature worship. It was precisely this behavior that invited the Assyrian invasion (Isaiah 10:1-34). On the other hand, Isaiah also prophesied the coming of Messiah and a glorious Messianic age in the last days in which Jerusalem will become the religious headquarters of the entire world where international peace, justice and equity will replace their previous judgments and warfare at the hands of godless nations (Isaiah 9:1-7). Nature will also be idyllically restored to an existence which will surpass the wonders of the garden of Eden (Isaiah 11:1-12:6).

This linear, chronological, historical and factual revelation of the Hebrew Bible as exhibited by Isaiah and all the other Old Testament prophets, stood in great contrast to the ancient pagan belief in eternal return that characterized much of Greco-Roman religion. Pagan nature worship curved history[iii] into a hopeless circle that enslaved man under the unremitting natural cycles of life, suffering, death, and rebirth. Man’s dominion over nature (Genesis 1:26-31) and his historical destiny in the apocalyptic future (Isaiah 65-66) was therefore not even a consideration among the Greeks and Romans. In the Old Testament, the history of Israel begins with Abraham in a tent, but ends with their return to the promised land from the Babylonian exile. In between those times, they were enslaved in Egypt, became a nation during the Exodus, conquered the promised land, devolved into the debauchery at the time of the Judges, rebounded with the united monarchy under Saul, David and Solomon, split into the competing kingdoms of Israel in the north and Judah in the south, and then finally both were exiled into foreign nations because of their pagan nature worship. The Old Testament thus did not curve time like the Greeks often. The Old Testament was fully aware of human development precisely because it specifically taught that man was made in God’s image, and that the distinction between nature and history was born in the opening chapters of Genesis 1-4.

The point of Greco-Roman history, however, was not that it was going anywhere or that it would reach a Messianic-eschatological goal in the apocalypse, but that it was something to escape from. This would be accomplished either through the mythical tales of gods on the one hand (if one was superstitious), or through timeless philosophical abstractions on the other hand (if one was more rationally minded). Either way, history was largely disdained by the Greco-Roman world.[iv] It was not taken seriously as a venue for any real meaning precisely because it was subject to so much suffering, change and uncertainty.

To the Hebrew writers of the Bible, however, history had great meaning – so much so, that even the ups and downs of everyday life did not interfere with their unshakable faith in the outcome predestined by an Almighty God who created the universe out of nothing by His spoken word (Genesis 1:1-31). The Hebrews therefore took history far more seriously than the Greeks or Romans. This is readily seen by reading virtually any Old Testament book that constantly reminds its readers of one historical fact after another, “only the Jews are really a historical people, constituted as such by religion, by the act of the Sinaitic revelation. Hence the Jewish people could and can indeed understand their national history and destiny religiously, as a religious-political unity.” That the ancient Hebrew authors would take history so lightly to mischaracterize its facticity for theological purposes is thus highly unlikely. Even all of their heroes are objectively portrayed – warts, sins and all.

Sadly, it has taken 150 years of archaeological research to overturn the ‘higher critical’ fantasy of many a German scholar in the 1800’s who spent an inordinate amount of time attacking the foundations of the Bible to help advance their shallow and superficial mysticism of secular human progress based on a natural theology and naturalistic principles that somehow had proved that the Bible was a sham. However, both world wars in the 20^th century shattered the progressive hubris of the 19^th century, only to leave the present age scarred with the angst of the so-called post-modern world. What modern historians have often failed to grasp is that their linear conception of time and the view that history is inexorably leading to a meaningful goal in the future is, in fact, rooted in the Old Testament prophetic tradition, “even the articulation of all historical time into past, present, and future reflects the temporal structure of the history of salvation. The past points to the first things, the future to the last things, and the present to a central presence which connects the past with the future through a teleological succession.”[v]

In other words, their teleological belief in secular human progress based on a modern historiography that has allegedly shown the present age far more advanced than the ancient past is in fact a philosophy of history based on the Biblical exts itself.[vi] Such a consideration may have prevented them from presuming too quickly that the Hebrew people of the past were so backward and uneducated that they could not have come up with something as advanced as the Old Testament at such an early date. Their progressive view of history blinded their interpretation of the ancient past. Will they repent? Not likely. Worse is that the damage has already been done and may not be recoverable, “if the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do (Psalm 11:3)?” German ‘higher critical’ theories are still being taught as fact in most academic institutions in the country, and still continues to have a tremendous influence even in many seminaries.

Modern man has discarded the religious foundations of the Old Testament, but he has still largely retained the hopeful orientation toward the future, albeit in a secularized form. As biblical history was de-sanctified, stunningly the deification of modern progress took its place. While the hopeful outcome since World War II may not be as certain as it once was in the 1800’s, it has by no means been discarded. Modern man’s belief in political progress therefore has replaced his belief in biblical prophecies. He has faith in the future without a historical foundation that would warrant such a belief. Political hubris is now deemed far more advanced than childish faith. Is it really? At the end of the day, post-modern blind utopianism will prove to be just as illusory as the Hegelian eschatological juggernaut of the 1800’s – and this by the prophetic determination of the word of God (Psalm 2).
