There is much talk and discussion today about helping the poor and downtrodden here in the USA. The only true way to help individuals break free from the tyrannical cycle of poverty, however, is a Conservatism that is rooted in Biblical, Judeo/ Christian truths and absolutes. Such values bestow upon these individuals a sense of reality and purpose in what otherwise would be a meaningless, “burned out” existence. Historically, Judeo/ Christian values have been the only true advocate and hope for the poor since the fall of man (see Genesis 3:17-19).

The word charity - as taught in the Bible - is the outworking of Almighty God’s perfect love, God's highest and best for an individual by another individual for their eternal betterment and ultimate good. God’s love or highest and best is none other than the Person of Almighty God Himself. This highest and best includes God’s perfect plan and purpose; His solution and deliverance; and His eternal calling and will for His lost creation (2 Cor. 5:17-21 ). He only has the eternal betterment of all in mind. Any "love" that contradicts Almighty God's eternal standard is evil and doomed. This high holy standard is quite sobering, is it not? Following the dispersion at Babel some 4300 years ago (Gen. 11:1-9, Rom 1:18-32), the godless outworkings of the reprobate pagan nations created masses of poor and oppressed throughout the ancient world (Rom. 1:18-32). It was not until about seven hundred years or so after Babel’s scattering - when the nations were outworking their godless rebellion and reaping its destructive consequences - that Almighty God gave to Israel the Law through Moses (Exodus 20:1-17). In giving the Law, God made wonderful provision for the poor, understanding their affliction and destitution (Deut. 15:10; Jer. 22:16). The greatest of these was the institution of the Year of Jubilee (Lev. 25:8, 10, 13, 30, 40-41, 47-48, 54; 27:14-24; Isa. 61:1-2). When the heart of the people of God was right (i.e., when they were obedient to the Lord), these charitable practices continued and the poor of the land were taken care of (Lev. 19:19; Deut. 15:7; Isa. 59:10; Jer. 7:5-7). When the people’s hearts weren’t right with God (i.e., when they were disobedient), the poor suffered greatly (Isa 10:1-3; Jer. 5: 28; Ezek. 22:29, 31).

When the heart of the people of God was right (i.e., when they were obedient to the Lord), these charitable practices continued and the poor of the land were taken care of.

The Christian charities of America have always been the hallmark of our culture and society. Our nation was founded on the bedrock of Judeo/ Christian values, and the poor of our nation - and of the entire world - have benefited greatly by its fruits. These charities first fed and then taught the poor that they were accountable to Almighty God, and that sloth and idleness was sin (Prov. 10:4; 13:4; 19:15; 20:4; 24:30-31; 2 Thess. 3:10; 1 Tim. 5:13). The non-helpless poor were taught to be accountable and responsible for their actions, and to rejoin society and aid it in its moral out workings here in time. If these were rejected, then the capable poor were to reap their own doings and resulting situations without being pitied (Prov. 20:4; 21:25, 2 Thess. 3:10). The chief emphasis of these charitable institutions was to teach the poor accountability and responsibility to man, society and most of all to Almighty God - to whom they will give an account in the Last Day (Rom. 14:12; 1 Pet. 4:4-5). The Gospel of Jesus Christ (1 Cor. 15:1-4)was always at the heart of the activities and functions of charity missions. My friends, what good does it accomplish to feed a poor man and fill his tummy when without Christ he will ultimately die in his sins (Mark 8:36; John 6:27)? Oh, how the Devil and the Liberal today has twisted the Holy Scriptures and has turned around the message of the Lord Jesus Christ a full 180 degrees!

Listen to what Jesus said:

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor (Luke 4:18a).

The blind receive their sight and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them (Matt 11:5).

Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled. Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed (John 6:26-27).

Jesus knew that the Gospel Message was the most important need for the indigent poor and the capable poor, not food. Countless examples are given throughout Holy Scripture.

To the capable poor was the Gospel of salvation first to be preached, and then they were to eat!

The capable poor were to be taught personal accountability and responsibility to Almighty God and man so they could feed themselves and benefit society!

The capable poor were to be taught giving is better than receiving!
The capable poor were to be taught to love Almighty God with all their heart, soul, and mind, and their neighbors as themselves!

America's Two Poor Classes

Today in America we have two different classes of poor: 1) the American Indigent Poor; and 2) the Capable Poor or the “New American Poor” (i.e., “The Subjective Socially Dependent”).


The American Indigent Poor are those individuals who are truly helpless and indigent. These were born with physical infirmities and birth defects who suffer physical traumas or mental issues and are unable to survive through this life without help from society. Some are our valiant veterans of foreign wars and others are rejected outcasts of society. These individuals need and deserve our charity and help, and most of all we are to let them know that Almighty God loves them and sent His Son for them (John 3:16-17). In the midst of this fallen world (Rom 5:12-19), Almighty God has a wondrous plan for their eternal future. All those who place their trust in Him will be restored and healed in that Day when He restores all things unto Himself (Isa. 35:6; 49:10; John 6:35; 7:38; 1 Cor. 15:42-44).

These hide behind the name of “the poor” and see themselves as the indigent poor class. These have become nothing more than a parasite to the achievements of others and a burden of weight to society and all working-class Americans.

The New American Poor (i.e., the Capable Poor or the Subjective Socially Dependent) are those who through decades of generational dependence on government and social charities have become slothful, immoral, idle and desensitized to life’s demands and responsibilities. These - as we shall see - have absorbed the subjective Liberal Ideology and are fully addicted to and dependent on socialistic government programs. They are quite capable of working. They suffer no infirmities or handicaps but choose the path of dependency and sloth over self-motivation and personal responsibility and achievement. These hide behind the name of “the poor” and see themselves as the indigent poor class. These have become nothing more than a parasite to the achievements of others and a burden of weight to society and all working-class Americans. These are the products of FDR’s New Deal, LBJ’s Great Society and the War on Poverty and Obama's new New Deal. The Left’s good intentions have enslaved countless millions to a life of poverty and narcissistic victimhood.

Today we hear from America’s Left that we need to do more to take care of “the poor” here in America. These “poor” they are alluding to is this class of the socially dependent. They continually offer socialist programs to these without any moral accountability or personal responsibility.

The fact of the matter is, the phrase “The New American Poor” is an oxymoron. In light of those throughout the world who are truly oppressed and made destitute by fascist oppressors in third world countries, the New American Poor live as kings and are treated as spoiled children.

The New American Poor class have access to food shelters and state housing, possesses free revenue (welfare), free health care, free food stamps, cell phones, iPods, TV’s, Nike shoes, designer clothes, cars, toilets, clean water, free school lunches, free education, free day care, pay no taxes, come and go as they please, have full voting privileges and freedoms as citizens, etc. They have countless benefits and rights that the truly oppressed and indigent of the world know absolutely nothing about - let alone hardworking middle class America. The truly afflicted, indigent poor of the world possesses none of these luxuries, yet the New American Poor with their subjective mindset loves to compare themselves to these as though they are on the same par. If one takes an objective view of the case, it is clearly seen that there is absolutely no comparison between the two groups.

We have redefined poor in this country as not having enough to satisfy our wants and desires.

The majority of the New American Poor possesses a subjective mindset which has been placed on them as mighty battleship chains by the Left in this country. The sad fact is they are absolutely oblivious to all the care that has been given to them, for which they are truly unthankful. We have redefined poor in this country as not having enough to satisfy our wants and desires. Only in The Land of the Free could these claims ever be made and these labeled as poor and victims of society. The true Indigent Poor of America suffer as the New American Poor “milk and bilk” the system. Which of these two classes is truly the victim?

The True Heart of the Matter

It would not be difficult to see the true heart of the matter if one was to simple take an objective and realistic view. The issue, however, is too raw and politically charged to be engaged by a great many individuals. The New American Poor today have reaped a whirlwind of dire consequences due to their rejection of divine accountability and their abandonment of fundamental truths and moral absolutes. They have sold their souls to the secular socialist god of Big Government, which demands no accountability or responsibility from them, only their total support and absolute allegiance. The end result of this rejection of divine accountability is the abandonment of absolutes (moral/ spiritual) to an addiction and utter dependency on the Left and its socialistic “Big Government” utopia visions. This has produced the catastrophic consequences reaped by the New American Poor of today.

The New American Poor today have reaped a whirlwind of dire consequences due to their rejection of divine accountability and their abandonment of fundamental truths and moral absolutes.

The consequences of the New American Poor greatly abound (Gal. 6:8). They have become LAWLESS in all manner of their living. Drug addiction, alcoholism, pornography addiction, a licentious mindset, a ravished family unit, multitudes of fatherless children and single-parent homes, violence, murder, numberless incarcerations, rampant sexual immorality and STD’s, generational psychological and mental trauma from the outworkings of immorality and loss of self respect, narcissistic behavior, callousness and hard-heartedness, laziness and obesity, inner-city dwellings which have become a wasteland flooded with pollution, poverty and drugs, etc., etc. These just begin to describe the miserable conditions resulting from the tyranny and oppression, bondage and slavery in the lives of the New America Poor (NAP). Many scapegoats have been created for the plight of the New American Poor - and some are truly to blame - but the NAP themselves are going to be held personally responsible to Almighty God in that Day. All their scapegoats will be irrelevant in the Day of Judgment. The reality is that only Almighty God can deliver these individuals (NAP) from their current state of poverty, dependency and sloth. Only Almighty God can rescue them from the bondage and outworkings of their circumstances and situation. Only Almighty God has the remedy to deliver their souls from the wrath to come (John 3:16-17; Rev. 6:17).

My friend, hear this very sobering truth backed by the Word of Almighty God. Belonging to the NAP class or the Indigent Poor class is not a virtue to qualify one for Almighty God’s righteous and holy Heaven. The only qualifying virtue for anyone - rich or poor - to enter God’s Heaven is by placing one’s faith in the saving Person and work of Jesus Christ alone (Rom 3:28, 10:4, Eph. 2:8-9). Faith is something we all possess. Red, yellow, black and white, rich, poor, bond or free - all who are outside of Christ must give a personal account to Almighty God at the Great White Throne judgment (Rev. 20:11-15). No one will have any excuse to use (Rom. 1:20). Almighty God is not a respecter of any person, no matter their class or color (Deut. 10:17; Matt. 16:27; Acts 10:34; Col. 3:25; 1 Peter 1:17).

The Oppressor of the Poor

At the beginning of the 1900’s, the NAP began to turn away from Judean/ Christian values (Rom 1:18-32) and charities and chose to be indoctrinated in the ways of liberalism (politically and religiously). Over the past 100 years the secular leftist Democratic Party has kept these masses under their thumb while claiming to be their champions and deliverers. The NAP have taken on the mantle and practices of secularism, liberalism, sloth, idleness, the godless form of liberal/ apostate Christianity and relativism as their ideology and way of life. These have embraced the subjective liberal mindset of the Left and have assumed the subjective victim status as the downtrodden, unprivileged class in America. This “victim status” position has been assigned to them by their Leftist oppressors in Washington D.C.

Over the past 100 years the secular leftist Democratic Party has kept these masses under their thumb while claiming to be their champions and deliverers.

This attitude and mindset does not come without a devastating price tag. The cost to our culture and society has been horrific. A significant percentage of our NAP population has become dehumanized to the extent of full-blown narcissism, depression, bitterness, callousness (hard-heartedness), jealousy, envy, strife, hatred and violence that has poisoned their hearts and minds. This has progressed to such a degree that they cannot or will not respond to those who truly care about them and seek their betterment. The very ones who sincerely seek to help lift the NAP out of its bondage today are demonized, slandered and labeled as cold-hearted, callous and racist by the NAP, their self-appointed spokesmen and very oppressors of the Left.

The New American Poor have had all personal responsibility removed from them, opening wide the flood-gates of idleness and sloth. It is said that Idleness is the Devil’s playground. How true that is! For man’s sake Almighty God cursed the ground after man’s fall (see Gen. 3:17-18), knowing that with an abundance of idleness man would destroy himself in a never-ending quest to fill his famished soul, thus reaping the destructive evils and vices of personal (self) gratification. The NAP have had all motivation for the hope to succeed beaten out of them. They have had all incentives for living a healthy and happy life totally driven from them. They do not know how to support themselves for their daily needs without looking to Big Government. They have become as a drug addict looking for his next Big Government fix. They are totally addicted to government dependency. They are encouraged in their plight and held there by their oppressors in the Leftist Democratic Party without any escape in sight. The Left uses these subjective, oppressed people as pawns in their ever-growing quest for absolute power and control.

These oppressed are the Subjective Socially Dependent (aka “the New American Poor”). They are told by their Leftist Oppressors that they are victims of life’s lottery and truly hopeless without their aid. They are told by their Leftist Masters that they will never amount to anything of worth without Big Government interceding for them. Their ranks increase daily and they are ever chained to this never-ending circle of poverty and dependency. Once the motivation for achievement and success is driven from a human spirit, all that is left is a shell of a human being: an unmotivated, beaten down, depressed, slothful and eventually doomed individual.

The Socialistic Left has done more to destroy the family unit of the NAP today than any slave trader or violent oppressor could ever do.

The Godless Rich (those who reject Almighty God’s virtues, absolutes and Word) and the Left of this world - with their secular socialism - still have yet to give the Poor a fair shake.

Almighty God has not forgotten the deeds of these individuals and will hold them absolutely accountable for their actions (James 2:1-10). God has provided for the Poor (both indigent and capable) all that they will EVER need in the Person of Jesus Christ. So many that have been delivered from the wasteland of Government addiction can testify to that!

Today the godless outworkings of secularism, liberalism, socialistic oppression and personal dependency now rule. Our nation’s Christian charities once dominated and did much good until they were abandoned by the NAP and infiltrated by a liberal/ apostate form of “Christianity.” For many years the poor and oppressed from all around the world sought refuge here in the United States, and as they entered New York harbor they saw the door of opportunity with a future of great potential open before them. They were welcomed by the Statue of Liberty and by that great inscription at Ellis Island as they entered the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave.

“Give me your tired, your poor,Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me,I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Almighty God’s Love for the Poor!

My friend, Almighty God loves the poor! He loves them and does not abandon them. They have abandoned Him. He sent his Son who became a slave to lead man back to God the Father and to deliver humanity from the enslaving, oppressing power of sin (John 3:16-17; Rom 7:24, Phil 2:4-10, Heb 2:14-15). The Lord Jesus Christ, Almighty God’s Son, was inconceivably rich, yet for our sakes He became poor so that we through His poverty might be rich (2 Cor. 8:9)!

My Friend, do you know the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior? He has come to set the captives free (John 8:32, 36; Heb. 2:14-15). Whatever captivity that you may find yourself under today, whatever oppression or addictions bind you, He wants to set you free! He has come to seek and save (deliver) that which was lost (Matt. 18:11; Luke 19:10)! He loves you and wants to deliver you from your transgressions and sins against HIS PERFECTLY RIGHTEOUS CHARACTER. Will you trust Him today? Your destiny is to be with Him forever in eternal bliss, don’t let your pride destroy you as it has done countless others (James 2:5; Matt. 5:3). My friend, place your sole trust in Jesus Christ today. My friend, it’s totally up to you. The ball is in your court. You alone will have to make your decision. Will you have Almighty God care for you (Matt. 6:24-33) or Big Government? May you rightly choose Almighty God and His highest and best for you. He will change your life and you will NEVER be the same!

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you (Matt 6:33).

Heeding Hurricane Warnings but NOT the Day of the Lord!

Location: Somewhere "in an underground bunker" in the heart of the People’s Republic of Socialistic Connecticut.

As hurricane “Irene” is crawling along at 12 miles per hour on the way to Connecticut, our state is bracing for this Category - 1 hurricane. To us up here in the north we do not get these kinds of hurricanes. For many; panic, dread and fear of the unknown are gripping the state while others maintain calm. There is not one bottle of water to be found any where along with D – batteries, generators and all the other necessities that go along with preparing for a hurricane. Our state has been intently following the tracking of this hurricane for almost 10 days now and to my wonderment, this state’s residents have fully heeded the warnings given to us by our Supreme Dictator and local media.

Only now would a “nut” pretend that this hurricane is not real and be ill prepared to bunker down for this coming storm.

It is not hard to see. The warning signs and the precise evidence of this coming hurricane are abundantly clear for all to see. Only now would a “nut” pretend that this hurricane is not real and be ill prepared to bunker down for this coming storm.

How true it is when the Lord Jesus Messiah rebuked the leaders of Israel and the nation for their woeful unbelief and rejection of the EXCEEDINGLY MARVELOUS WONDERS preformed by Him and His great authority as He preached the Word of Almighty God.

“He (Jesus) answered and said unto them, when it is evening, ye say, it will be fair weather: for the sky is red. And in the morning, it will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowering. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times? A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.” (Matt. 16:1-3)

Is this NOT so even in our day here in America! The OVERWHELMING evidence and warning sirens of the collapse of this nation under the EXPONENTIAL weight of social decadence and fiscal debt should be enough to wake the dead but while the evidence and signs are more than abundant, America’s still loves to hope for the best all the while rejecting Almighty God’s Word and those who give warning (Isa. 6:9-11). The Bible (Almighty God’s Word) and its INFALLIBILITY are continually REJECTED by liberals and conservatives alike. Countless conservatives adhere to the social absolutes of the Bible while relativizing and rejecting the clear teachings of its message on ETERNAL salvation. For the Bible states:

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Eph. 2:8-9)

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Rom. 3:23)

“For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth” (Rom. 10:2-4)

“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name (the Lord Jesus Christ) under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)

As the WARNINGS go out INTO THE HIGHWAYS AND BYWAYS of America and the world, do not DECEIVE YOURSELVES into thinking that Almighty God’s Day of reckoning will NEVER come. For indeed, it is at the very door! ALL signs today point to the global tribulation spoken of by the Lord Jesus almost 2000 years ago (Matt. 24). Once America falls off of the world stage, who or what will hold back the godless masses, the tyrannical despots evil desires and murderous rampage through out the world? Do not listen to me, but see for YOURSELVES what Almighty God’s Word has to say about this time.

ALL signs today point to the global tribulation spoken of by the Lord Jesus almost 2000 years ago

As the world reads and interprets all the many different signs pertaining to the economy, the markets, weather patterns, sports teams, 2012 elections etc, etc… may it be YOUR sole priority to choose to have an ear and listen to Almighty God’s ETERNAL message and warning for YOU. The reality is that we are about to head into a time in which the words horrific, catastrophic, devastation, desolation, ravishing, violence, tribulation and turmoil take on an EXPONENTIAL meaning (Rev. 6-16)!

My friend, if you know NOT the Lord Jesus as your PERSONAL Savior, please see that you do business with Him today, for He is your ONLY means of deliverance from the RIGHTEOUS judgments of Almighty God on mankind and this world’s godless rebellion (John 3:16-17, Gal. 1:4). The warning signs and data are OVERWHELMING! You must ask yourself, “Do I have the courage to face these ETERNAL realities and deal with them as a responsible individual.” The choice is YOURS my friend! What will you choose?

Is Glenn Beck Saved? (A Short Review of Mormonism)

Glenn Beck is one of the most popular political commentators in the United States. Between his TV show, and nationally syndicated talk-radio show, Beck reaches millions of Americans every day with his commentary about politics. Glenn Beck is also a convert to the Mormon faith, joining the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1999 along with his wife and children. However, his recent comments regarding God, salvation, and the Gospel on his TV show have caused some evangelical Christians to contemplate the salvation of Glenn Beck, even as a member of the Mormon Church.

We know that it’s the desire of political conservatives, constitutionalists, and Christians to take back America and stop the socialistic trends in this country. We are grateful for Glenn Beck and others like him who are standing behind the constitution and foundational basis of this country. Every evangelical Christian should support them in these goals. However, in sharing this common goal and desire we must be careful to not cross the line and become undiscerning in our theology and assessment of those who may only be masking as Evangelical Christians or “transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ” (2 Cor. 11:13-15).

Although Glenn Beck (a Mormon), and others like Sean Hannity (a devout Catholic) and Bill O’ Reilly (a Catholic), who claim to be conservative, Catholic, Christians, we must be careful to not lump Mormons and Catholics in the same mold as fundamental Evangelical Christianity, which firmly embraces Jesus Christ as God, salvation without any church traditions, Mary, and human works, and a once-and-for-all justification before God through faith alone, in Christ alone (Rom. 5:1; 8:33-34).

Glenn Beck professes to be a Mormon. So, a better question to ask is this; can a Mormon be saved? The answer is simple. If a professing Mormon believes wholeheartedly in Mormon doctrine he definitely cannot be saved. The same is true of Roman Catholics. If they embrace Catholic Doctrine for their salvation, then they can’t be saved. In short, the cults who are steeped in their anti-biblical belief systems cannot be saved (2 Pet. 2:1-3). This is because the Mormons, like all other cults, reject the deity of Jesus Christ and the work of Jesus Christ alone to bring them salvation and acceptance before God (John 8:24). They place faith in a false Christ and are dependent upon their human merits and works to ultimately give them acceptance before God.

When church traditions and pagan beliefs about God, Jesus Christ, and the way of salvation are embraced and believed, then that person cannot be saved (2 Pet. 3:16). No person who rejects Christ’s person (who He claimed to be) and work (what He did on the cross and resurrection) and the way of faith in Christ for salvation can enter Heaven (Acts 16:31; John 14:6; 1 John 2:18).

Consider Mormonism. Mormons use similar Christian terminology or vocabulary but have different definitions than evangelical Christianity for the meaning of Christian words. Their view of God, salvation, and Jesus Christ are a perfect example of using Christian vocabulary but denying the Biblical meanings and understanding of these words.

What Mormons Actually Believe

1. About the Father:

Mormons believe that God the Father was once a man (an exalted or glorified man) who continually progressed to become a god.

"The Father has a body of flesh and bones as tangible as man’s..." (Doctrine & Coven. 130:22).

“God is in the form of a man” (Joseph Smith, Journal of Discourses, Vol. 6, p. 3.)

"God himself was once as we are now, and is an exalted man, and sits enthroned in yonder heavens!!! . . . We have imagined that God was God from all eternity. I will refute that idea and take away the veil, so that you may see" (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, p. 345).
Mormons do not believe the Father was the eternal and only God and yet the Bible declares that God was never a man and there is only one God.

Hosea 11:9 states: “I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will not enter into the city.”
Numbers 23:19: “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
Isaiah 44:8 declares: “Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.”
Isaiah 45:5: “I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me.”
Isaiah 46:9: “Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me.”
In Isaiah 43:10 God declares:
“Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.”
2. About the Trinity:

Mormons believe the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are three separate gods. This is a rejection of the oneness of the Godhead and the vital doctrine of the Trinity.

The Mormon Church teaches that the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are three separate Gods (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, p. 370; Mormon Doctrine, pp. 576-577), and that the Son and Holy Ghost are the literal offspring of the Heavenly Father and a celestial wife (Joseph Fielding McConkie, Encyclopedia of Mormonism, vol. 2, p. 649).

The Bible refutes the idea that there are three separate gods. There is only one God, and He exists in a Trinity.

1. The Father is called God (“God the Father” – 1 Pet. 1:2).

2. The Son is called God (“My Lord and my God” – John 20:28). The Father
said to the son “Thy throne, O God is forever” (Heb. 1:8).

3. The Holy Spirit is said to be God (Acts 5:3-4).

The members of the Godhead are never called “a god” but God! God is one God and He exists in a Trinity.

There is only one God - not three different gods.

Deuteronomy 6:4
“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord” (not three gods).
3. About other gods:

Mormons believe there are many other gods that exist and we too will someday become a god. The Mormon Church teaches that there are many gods and that we can become gods and goddesses in the celestial kingdom (Doctrine and Covenants 132:19-20; Gospel Principles, p. 245; Achieving a Celestial Marriage, p. 130). It also teaches that those who achieve godhood will have spirit children who will worship and pray to them, just as we worship and pray to God the Father (Gospel Principles, p. 302).

In fact, this is how Mormons view salvation in the next life of Heaven. Satan sold Eve in the Garden of Eden – “Ye shall be as gods” (Gen. 3:5). Satan has been selling this false teaching since the beginning of the human race. Exodus 20:3 says, “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” Why? Because there are no other true gods!

4. About Jesus Christ:

Mormons teach that Jesus was created as a spirit child by the Father and Mother in Heaven. Jesus is not the One, true, and eternal God. This is a major defection in Mormon Theology and becomes the sure sign of a cult.

John 8:58
“Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.”

John 10:30-33
“I and my Father are one. Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.”
Hebrews 1:8
“But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.”

In bearing testimony of Jesus Christ, President Hinckley spoke of those outside the Mormon Church, who say Latter-day Saints do not believe in the traditional Christ. Hinckley agrees with their assessment when saying: “No, I don't. The traditional Christ of whom they speak is not the Christ of whom I speak. For the Christ of whom I speak has been revealed in this the Dispensation of the Fullness of Times. He together with His Father, appeared to the boy Joseph Smith in the year 1820, and when Joseph left the grove that day, he knew more of the nature of God than all the learned ministers of the gospel of the ages” (LDS Church News, June 20, 1998, p. 7).

The Bible also says that Jesus was the creator of everything.

John 1:3
“All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”

Colossians 1:16 says this of Christ:
“For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him”

Like all cults, Mormonism rejects this Biblical truth.
“Jesus being the literal son of exalted human gods obviously did not create all things either. For example, He did not create the planet He was born on as a spirit child” (Gospel Principles, 17-20 [1997 edition]; and 27-29).

Jesus was not a created spirit. He was and always will be the eternal and unchangeable God. He was the Creator and Designer of the universe for the simple reason that He shares the same existence with the eternal and true God.

The Mormon Jesus is not the Jesus of the Bible! They have “another Jesus” and “another gospel” (2 Cor. 11:4).

4. About Salvation:

The Mormon way of salvation is not based on grace but on human merit and good works. If it had not been for Joseph Smith and the restoration, there would be no salvation. There is no salvation outside the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, (Mormon Doctrine, p. 670.)

The third of the Mormon Articles of Faith contains the core of the Mormon doctrine of Salvation: “We believe that through the Atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel” (Article 3 of “The Articles of Faith of The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints,” Pearl of Great Price, p. 60).

The Mormon church concludes: “We accept Christ's atonement by repenting of our sins, being baptized, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and obeying all of the commandments," (Gospel Principles, Corporation of the President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1979, pg. 68.)

For a Mormon to achieve salvation they must do the following:

 Believe in Jesus Christ (their version of Jesus Christ).
 Be baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
 Receive the gift of the Holy Ghost through the laying on of hands by a person with priesthood authority.
 Endure the tests of their life on earth.
 Follow the teachings of Christ and his Apostles.
 Keep God's commandments.
 Repent of their sins.
 Undo any wrongs they may commit.
 Treat other people in the way they would want to be treated.

The Mormon fourth Article of Faith declares: “We believe that the first principles and ordinances of the gospel are: first, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; second, Repentance; third, Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; fourth, Laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost.”

Mormons view salvation as an ongoing process. For Bible believing Christians, faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is not just the first of several things that God requires for men to be saved and have eternal life with Him, but it is all that He requires. Texts like John 3:15-18, 36; 5:24; 6:47; Romans 1:16-17; 3:19-28; 10:9-10; I John 5:10-13 make this abundantly clear. It’s faith alone in Christ alone!

Jesus said in John 3:36:
“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”

Jesus also said in John 6:47:
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.”
But the Book of Mormon teaches otherwise:
"We know that it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do." (2 Nephi 25:23).

The Mormon view of salvation involves exaltation in the next life in the form of a god. Exaltation, according to an official Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints publication, "is eternal life, the kind of life that God lives. He lives in great glory. He is perfect. He possesses all knowledge and all wisdom. He is the father of spirit children. He is a creator. We can become gods like our Heavenly Father. This is exaltation" (Gospel Principles, Salt Lake City, UT: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1978, revised 1986, 289).

What Mormons Won’t Tell You!

MORMONS WON'T TELL YOU that they believe your Church is wrong, your Christian creeds are abomination to God, and your pastor is a hireling of Satan.

MORMONS WON'T TELL YOU that there is salvation only in their church - all others are wrong.

MORMONS WON'T TELL YOU that they consider the Bible to be untrustworthy and full of errors.

MORMONS WON'T TELL YOU that Jesus' death on the cross only partially saves the believer.

MORMONS WON'T TELL YOU that they intend to be gods themselves some day, and are helping to earn their exaltation to godhood by talking to you.

MORMONS WON'T TELL YOU that the virgin Mary really wasn't a virgin at all but had sexual relations with their heavenly father to produce the Mormon version of Jesus Christ.

MORMONS WON'T TELL YOU that the "heavenly father" they ask you to pray to with them, is really an exalted man that lives on a planet near the star base Kolob, and is not the Heavenly Father of the Bible at all.

MORMONS WON'T TELL YOU that their Prophet Joseph Smith (their founding prophet) prophesied falsely many times. For example, he foretold the second coming of Christ for 1891. The Bible teaches that one false prophecy puts the prophet under death sentence. (Deuteronomy 18:20-22).

MORMONS WON'T TELL YOU that Joseph Smith taught that there were inhabitants on the moon, and Brigham Young taught there were inhabitants on the sun as well!

Back to Beck!
If Glenn Beck believes this anti-biblical doctrine, then he cannot be a saved, Evangelical Christian, who places faith in the Jesus Christ of Scripture, and one who embraces the true God of the Bible. Of course, Glenn Beck could be Mormon in name only and not necessarily embrace their theology and practice. There are undoubtedly some Catholics like this as well. However, let’s not be emotionally charged and naïve in our understanding about Mormonism and the cults, even while we desire to see America return to her historic roots and foundation.

1 John 4:1 declares:
“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”

Demonic spirits are deceptive and mask the truth behind Christian vocabulary and the veneer of righteousness (2 Cor. 11:14-15). Don’t forget about the old “angel of light” routine that Satan masquerades before us. Those who present a different Jesus, a different Gospel, a different plan and concept of salvation, and a different God are not of God, whether they are on the left, middle, or right wing of conservative politics. Political ambitions and correctness should not override truth, discernment, and fundamental Christianity.

I am thankful for men like Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, and Bill O’ Reilly. We should pray for these men, so they would embrace the true way of salvation, through Christ alone (not through Mary, Mormonism, and many church traditions), and that they would follow the complete truth of the Bible, instead of cultic errors. We should also pray that God will use them as a hinge to bring our beloved country back to her historic roots of true liberty and freedom. I am grateful for freedom fighters and all those who sacrifice their time and lives to maintain the liberties, which God and the original founders established for this country.

We can support those who are defending the constitution without supporting their religious background and teachings. I can pray for these men and support Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, and Bill O’ Reilly, who are Freedom Fighters, but no fundamental Bible Christian can support and overlook their ecclesiastical (church) associations. The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:21–22 that we are to “prove all things” and “abstain from all appearance of evil.” Ignorance of spiritual truth and ignoring error leads to confusion and compromise (Rev. 2:20). And remember this: “Error often rides on the back of truth.” We should remain discerning (Heb. 5:14) while we fight for the freedoms of this country and remember that no Mormons signed the Declaration of Independence!

Mormon heritage is traced back to 1820, some 18 centuries after the foundation of Biblical Christianity, and it’s based upon a 14-year old boy receiving Golden Plates by an angel! Beck seems to be a careful historian on many issues. Since this is the case, he should raise his eyebrows at the claims of Mormon Doctrine which replaces the historic Christian doctrines about the eternal nature and uniqueness of God the Father, Jesus Christ as the only true God, and salvation through Christ alone (not the Mormon Church teachings and traditions). He also should realize that there is only one true Bible and it’s not the Mormon Bible.

The “other testament” of Mormonism has heavily plagiarized the King James Bible, which was printed over two hundred years prior to the foundation of Mormonism. Solemn warning is given to never add to the Bible and create “another testament” (Rev. 22:18) of false teachings.

And yet, the Mormon Church Declares:
"We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly. . ." (8th Article of Faith of the Mormon Church).

"Wherefore, thou seest that after the book hath gone forth through the hands of the great and abominable church, that there are many plain and precious things taken away from the book, which is the book of the Lamb of God." (1 Nephi 13:28).

In short, the Mormon church believes the Book of Mormon is more correct than the Bible! Beware of the counterfeits!

So what about Beck’s salvation? We don’t know what is happening in Glenn Beck’s life. Perhaps evangelical, Bible-believing Christians have actually pointed Glenn Beck to the true Christ of the Bible and Christianity. He has had contact with many of them. If this is the case, God will sooner or later lead him out of the Mormon Church. He will refer to himself as only a Christian – not a Mormon. He will also repudiate apostate Mormon doctrine (Col. 1:23; Heb. 3:6; 14). Ultimately, we will leave the answer to the question of Glenn Beck’s salvation with God.

2 Timothy 2:19 declares:
“Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”

A more personal question for you today is this: “Are you saved?” How can you know that you are going to Heaven? The Bible says that you have sinned (Rom. 3:23 - “All have sinned”), are separated from God (“enemies” - Rom. 5:8), and will be sentenced to hell for your sins (Rom. 6:23 - “the wages of sin is death”). But the Bible also promises you can live in God’s presence forever by believing in His Son Jesus Christ (John 3:16), who died on the cross in your place, and rose again the third day (1 Cor. 15:1-3) to give you eternal life (John 6:47).

Will you believe in Christ today, by taking a step of faith, and personally rely on Christ, the Christ of the Bible, to be your Savior?

John 1:12,
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.”

Believing in Jesus Christ for salvation from hell (Acts 16:31) and the free gift of eternal life (Rom. 6:23), involves a personal response of faith, on the part of the sinner. When you know and understand who Jesus Christ is and place your faith in what He has done for you, it’s then you can be saved.

A Letter Sent to Mormon Elders

Below is a letter I sent to some Mormons to whom I had witnessed. After three hours of witnessing, their eyes were still blinded by Satan (2 Cor. 4:3-4).

You men want me to believe that one vision given to a 14-year-old boy in up-state New York, back in 1820, a boy who was directed by an angel Moroni to golden plates, in order to translate the Book of Mormon (with the help of magical stones), has wiped out 18 centuries of historical Christianity! I can’t buy it!

Jesus said in Matthew 16:18, “I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Jesus said in Matthew 28:20, “… and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” This means that Jesus would not allow the original and only true church to completely apostatize. Instead, He would be with the true church until the end of the age.
Jesus has not turned His saints over to the Mormon church. Since this is true, then what is the Mormon church? Who are you guys? You can’t be the true church! You must be wolves in sheep’s clothing (Matt. 7:15; 2 Cor. 11:14-15).

There is only one eternal God called the Father (not many gods) that has always existed. He is called “the everlasting Father” (Isa. 9:6). Psalm 90:2 “Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.” Isaiah 44:6, “I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.” Isaiah 44:8, “Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.”

You have a different god and father! You have a god and father that are not eternal but a father who also had a father. Your father is not the Father of the Bible. Your father can’t forgive sin and give you eternal life!

Jesus Christ shares the same existence as the one eternal God. John 1:1, “In the beginning was the Word (Jesus Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:3 says this: “All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” Jesus is not a god (one of many gods) but the one and only “mighty God” (Isa. 9:6), “the image of the invisible God” (Col. 1:15) who is Creator of everything.

“For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him” (Col. 1:16). Jesus is not a spirit-brother of Lucifer (Satan) but the Creator of Satan (Ezekiel 28:13-14). Jesus is not my elder brother – He is “my Lord and my God” (John 20:28). Jesus can’t be your brother and God!

You have “another Jesus” (2 Cor. 11:4). Galatians 1:8, “But though we, or an angel (like Moroni) from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” Another Jesus cannot save you from hell and give you eternal life. Your god and Jesus can’t forgive sin and give you eternal life!

Your 3rd article of Faith says: “We believe that through the Atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel.”

This is false. Salvation from hell and eternal life comes to us only through Jesus Christ without man’s obedience. Salvation is a free gift “for the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Rom. 6:23). We receive this free gift by placing faith in the true Jesus Christ of the Bible who is the eternal God (Galatians 3:26 - “by faith in Christ Jesus”). Salvation from “the fire that never shall be quenched” (Mark 9:45), the promise of eternal life (Titus 3:7), and justification (legal acquittal in God’s sight) are granted to us by grace “without the deeds of the law” (Rom. 3:28) or any good works (Eph. 2:8-9). Salvation, eternal life, and justification come to us by faith alone, in Christ alone, by grace alone.

You can “know” that you have eternal life (1 John 5:13) and be saved from hell only through the true Gospel (1 Cor. 15:1-4) which teaches that Jesus Christ (the only true God) died on the cross (paying sin’s penalty of judgment on our behalf) and rose again from the grave (proving that the Father had accepted His sacrificial payment for sin and giving us the promise of eternal life).

You claim to place faith in a Jesus that is not the Jesus presented in the Bible, or the Jesus who died on the cross, and seek to merit eternal life by your good works. You have “another gospel” (Gal. 1:8) that damns not only you, but other people to hell (Matt. 7:13-14). Jesus asked, “How shall ye escape the damnation of hell?” (Matt. 23:33).

Summary: You have a different Father, a different Jesus, a different Gospel, and a different testament (with no manuscript or archeological evidence to support it). You also present different doctrine that is “contrary to sound doctrine” (1 Tim. 1:10) presented in the Bible (which is supported by 6,000 manuscripts of antiquity and thousands of archeological finds proving its authenticity).

This can mean only one thing. You are not part of true evangelical Christianity. You are imposters and “antichrists” who are actually against the true Jesus Christ presented in the Bible (1 John 2:18). You are “not of God” (1 John 4:1-3) and are found to be liars (1 John 2:22) by rejecting the true Jesus Christ, who shares the same existence with the Father, as the only true and eternal God, and who has come into this world to be our only Savior (Acts 4:12).

“Faithful are the wounds of a friend” (Prov. 27:6). As a friend, I tell you the truth. Galatians 4:16, “Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?” Jesus said, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32, 36).

Of the many different natural disasters that exist, nothing is as terrifying and devastating as the awesome power of an earthquake. In just a few moments of time an earthquake can unleash catastrophic damage and the deaths of multitudes. Today's U.S. earthquake caused little damage but sent many into the streets fearful thinking of the worst. Who can forget the recent earthquake in Japan, New Zeland and in Haiti? As we inch ever closer to the coming Day of the Lord, we are seeing a marked global increase in the number and intensity of earthquakes - just as Jesus said we would (see Matt. 24:7-8; Mark 13:8)!

Earthquakes in the Seven Year Tribulation

Earthquakes are just one of the many natural disasters that will come upon the world during this seven year period. Pestilence, famine, global war, supernatural judgments, demonic global oppression, and demonic dominance unparalleled since the dawn of man will transpire during this time (Isa. 24; Matt. 24; Rev. 6-19).

Jesus stated that at the beginning of this tribulation period, earthquakes would occur in many different places all over the face of the earth in great power and intensity (Luke 21:11; 1 Thess. 5:3).

Do You Believe?
                            

My friend, one must be absolutely blind to miss the overwhelming evidence found in Almighty God’s Word which describe end-time events leading up to the Day of the Lord. As these ever increasing signs point to the Day of the Lord and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, in which He will judge the world and its inhabitants for their multitude of transgressions against their Creator (Rev. 19:11-21), may you be prepared to receive and believe the precious truths and promises found in Almighty God’s Word, and to believe them with all your heart.

Do you personally know the Lord Jesus as your Savior? If not, invest your time and faith to be sure that you do. In Him alone are found all the remedies for our fallen humanity and pardon for all our transgressions against His ETERNAL, RIGHTEOUS ABSOLUTES (John 3:16-17; 1 Cor. 1:30-31). Place your trust in Him today before you find yourself amidst the soon coming Day of Wrath.

The Obama’s – A Picture of the Ruling Class in the Day of the Lord!

As the American leftist media tries to masquerade, hide and distract the American public from President Obama's continual indecision and apathetic stances on circumstances at home and abroad, the Obama's are off to the "Vineyard" for ten days. As the U.S. markets, unemployment and economy is tanking and our nation's debt is ever rapidly growing out of control, the ever vacationing Obama's are enjoying all the luxuries, perks and the unlimited spending of tax payer money that go with being president.

Under his horrific and woeful economic policies, Americans are struggling financially with seemingly no end in sight. Nothing but the best for America's ruling class.

About 3,000 people including Secret Service agents, US government officials and journalists would accompany the President. Several officials from the White House and US security agencies are already here for the past one week with helicopters, a ship and high-end security instruments.

"Except for personnel providing immediate security to the President, the US officials may not be allowed to carry weapons. The state police is competent to take care of the security measures and they would be piloting the Presidential convoy," the official said condition condition of anonymity.

Navy and Air Force has been asked by the state government to intensify patrolling along the Mumbai coastline and its airspace during Obama's stay. The city's airspace will be closed half-an-hour before the President's arrival for all aircraft barring those carrying the US delegation.

The personnel from SRPF, Force One, besides the NSG contingent stationed here would be roped in for the President's security, the official said.

Do not forget about Mrs. Obama’s extravagant trip last summer to Spain with 40 of her close friends and the leasing of 60 rooms in a five-star hotel in which American’s dished out $375,000. Out of touch? I would say so!

Coming up shortly – after the Rapture of the Church – the Day of Lawlessness will commence (2 Thess. 2:3-12). This seven year global tribulation will begin with the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (Rev. 6). In the aftermath of these four riders, 1/4 of the world’s population (about 1.75 billion) - at this time - will be slain by war, famine and pestilence. The carnage and suffering of the world’s inhabitants at this time will be exponential and horrific. The food prices during this period will sky rocket so that a man must pay a total days wage for very little food (Rev. 6:5, 6). The reference in Revelation 6 of “hurt not the wine or oil” speaks of the luxury of the elite and the elite callously enjoying the luxury of food and lacking nothing as multitudes of their people wallow in the closed box of starvation and despair. Note what groups of individuals seems to be NEVER affected by war and its horrific consequences.

It is know quite well that Hitler and Stalin – which included their inner circle of leaders - at the height of World War Two NEVER lacked for food or drink or luxury. These War Pigs lived in the lap luxury without blinking an eye while millions of their country men died, starved and wasted away. 

There is NOTHING new under the sun (Eccl 1:9, 10). As we head rapidly towards global devastation do not expect the War Pigs and Elites of this world to lack! The Obama’s are a picture of the self serving elitist leaders who do what ever they need to do to fill their impoverished soul with the toil and labors of those they rule over.

Sadly, the elite of this fallen temporal doomed world exclude Almighty God from their existence (Rom 1:18-32). They live in a subjective narcissistic delusion in the vanity of their own minds (Acts 17:30). Oh …that these would comprehend the ETERNAL and abandon the finite temporal things of this world for treasure in Heaven!

But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God (Luke 12:20-21).

How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! And the disciples were astonished at his words. It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible (Mark 10:23-27).

It is our sincere desire that the Obama’s and the greedy oppressing elites and ruling class of this world would see the big picture and see their desperate need for God's Savior of the world, who is KING of kings and LORD of lords (John 3:16-17, Rom. 10:2-4). Indeed a great Day is coming in which great and small will stand before the Son and give a full account for their deeds in the flesh and their rejection and rebellion against the Savior of the world (Rev. 20:11-15). While there is yet time and breath left in their nostrils, may these cry out to the Savior in repentance and with a contrite heart! The Day of Slaughter is at hand, just as James warned of and great it will be (James 5:5, Rev 19:15-21. 20:11-15)!

The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!
