California Wild Fires - A Small Picture of the Coming Day of the LORD!

Deadly wildfires continue to ravish California and have been dominating the national news cycle for the last week. In light of these horrific fires, we wanted to bring everyone's full attention to the realities of what is to come upon the earth in the not so distant future (Rev. 8). Below is an excerpt from the Daily Mail stating the effects of these fires on the California state.

• Flames burned close to the Getty Center museum which is home to works from Rembrandt and Van Gogh 
• Mandatory evacuation orders extend southwestward through Pacific Palisades to the ocean, officials say 
• Comedian Kathy Griffin filmed the fire getting closer to her property from her driveway 
• Students at UCLA were forced to flee in the middle of the night 
• Nearly 200,000 people in Northern California are under evacuation orders as crews grapple with wildfires 
• In Sonoma County, fire burned 85 square miles, destroyed 94 structures and threaten 80,000 buildings 
• Kincade Fire in Northern California grew overnight and now encompasses 103 square miles, officials said 
• California's Gov. Gavin Newsom declared a statewide emergency Sunday as winds drove the wildfires on
• Around 2.2 million people are still without power after PG&E shut it off as a precaution 

In ALL sincerity, our thoughts and prayers go out to those in California whose lives have been greatly affected by these horrific fires. Our TRUE desire is that they will see Almighty God's true hand of rescue as He reaches out to rescue fallen humanity from this fallen world and our fallen selves (John 3:16-17, 1 John 4:10). The images of these wildfires when observed on video look apocalyptic and grip our imagination in great awe. It is in such times like these - while these images are fresh in our minds as Americans - that we want to EXPONENTIALLY magnify this event and focus our attention on the very soon coming Day of the Lord (Rev. 6-19)!

The first of the seven Trumpet judgments (which follow the Seal Judgments - Rev. 6) in the Day of the Lord is described in horrific EXPONENTIAL detail

"And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up (Rev. 8:6-7)."

My dear friends, from this Divine first Trumpet Judgment one-third of ALL trees upon the face of the earth will be burnt up!! Dear friend, can you even begin to imagine such a catastrophic event!! Can you even begin to imagine the smoke rising into the earth's atmosphere and its effect on millions upon millions of people from billions of burning trees?!! Oh, my dear friend... it can only be EXPONENTIAL in every facet and yet this is just one of Almighty God's Divine plagues on godless humanity.

There are an estimated 400 billion trees on planet earth and one-third of all those billions of trees which will burn comes to roughly 133 billion trees!

We have done the math and it is absolutely mind-blowing! Also... 7% of all landmass is covered with grass. This area covers 9.93 million sq/km or 3.8 million sq/miles. This total area containing grass - which is given over to fire - is roughly a little bit bigger than the total land mass of the United States which would include Alaska. Indeed my dear friends... the earth will be on fire!!

Dear friends this is just one of the many EXPONENTIAL Divine plagues that Almighty God will send on the earth during this time of GREAT wrath upon the wickedness of ungodly men (Rom. 1:18-32, 2 Thess. 2:8-12, Rev. 6-16)!

Indeed all these things will be in the not so distant future and if you know not the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior then you will be left behind in this world.

What is even more mind-blowing then these global raging fires is that the majority of the world's godless unregenerate masses from all nations will STILL continue in their godless and lawless rebellion against Almighty God, His ETERNAL spiritual absolutes and moral absolutes for time (2 Thess. 2:8-12, Rev. 9:20-21). They will not desire to look to Almighty God in a saving way but curse the very One who LOVED the world and gave Himself for its transgressions (Isa. 53, John 3:16-17, 1 John 4:10). Oh, how hard the heart of fallen man can get!!

Dear friend, what about you? Upon hearing this message, will your heart get softer to Almighty God's Divine REALITY and to His saving grace for YOU or will it get hard as Pharaoh's heart did? Will you harden your heart against the ETERNAL LOVE, GRACE, and MERCY of Almighty God? If you cannot look to Him now in the day of peace (as it were) do you think billions will in that Day with EXPONENTIAL plagues abounding (Rev. 6-16)!

Today my dear friend is the day of salvation! Now is the time! For we know not what tomorrow will bring! Dear friends if you know not the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior be sure that you do business with Him today! We have countless resources to help you come to a saving knowledge of the Savior of the world and to grow in the grace and knowledge of Him. Dear friend, may it be so, for you will NEVER EVER be the same!

Indeed! The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!

However... the Two Witnesses greatest VICTORY is about to be seen! Can you imagine the glorious godless mood of the world at this time when these Two Men (who have wielded their ordained SUPERNATURAL powers at will upon the face of the earth) are finally disposed of? With Moses and Elijah's resuscitation and ascension in front of all their enemies into Almighty God's presence they have now WONDROUSLY confirmed and affirmed all of what they have stated for 3 1/2 years!

At the end of their 3 1/2 days of lying in the streets of Jerusalem will come Moses and Elijah's resuscitation and ascension into Heaven in front of all their enemies into Almighty God's presence. With this wondrous act, Moses and Elijah have now WONDROUSLY confirmed and affirmed all of what they have stated for the last 3 1/2 years! All what they have stated WILL come to pass and the Devil himself can NEVER stop it (Dan. 43-44, 7:13-14, Rev. 11:15, 17:17, 19:11:21, 20:1-10)! What is most astounding and amazing about this future event is that the godless world at this time will NOT repent but with full light and revelation sell their souls and partake of the abomination which leads to ETERNAL desolation all the way to the Battle of Armageddon and then ETERNAL Damnation (Zech.14:1-4, 2 Thess. 2:8-12, Rev. 14:9-11, 16:13-16, 19:11-21).

This HORRIFIC 3 1/2 year time period which has just transpired (Rev. 6-11) and has come to a completion with the ascension of Almighty God's Two Witnesses (Rev. 11:11-19). This first 3 1/2 years of the seven-year tribulation is called by the Savior, "the birth pangs" of what will finally come (Matt. 24:8). Now the GREAT TRIBULATION will commence and unbelieving Israel will be given over unto the nations for their national unbelief and will have upon here throat the jackboot of Lucifer and his anti Christ (Jer. 30:5-7, Ezek. 39:26, Zech. 12:1-3, 13:8-9, 14:1-2, Matt. 24:15-19, Rev. 12, 13).

 When they see the Messiah coming in WONDROUS glory then will the saving  message of the Two Witnesses 3 1/2 year ministry ring a fresh in their hearts and they will now fully comprehend how godless they have been and how desperate they need Messiah's propitiation and atonement for their souls.

It will be at the end of this 3 1/2 year period that Israel will GREATLY REPENT and turn to the Messiah when they see Him coming in the clouds to judge the world (Zech.12:0-14, 13:1-2, Rev. 1:7). SINNERS WELCOME!

There is great pardon and hope to ANY of Adam’s fallen race (Romans 5:12,17; Gen. 5:3) who truly seek it from Almighty God! Multitudes can attest to the validity of this great reality and truth. Some of the most self-righteous moralists and vilest offenders have sought and found Almighty God’s pardon and righteousness that is found only in the Person of His Son Jesus Christ, God’s Lamb (1 Peter 1:18-19)! When the broken and contrite heart of an individual looks to Almighty God for grace and mercy, my beloved, he will find it! With bells on! God has never said no to such a one! Never! (See Psalm 51:16, 17; Luke 18:13,14; 23:39-43.)

God’s Word, the Bible, states quite emphatically, whether to the most moral and virtuous or to the most wretched and vile, All have sinned and All need the Savior! No one in the human race is without exception. God’s Word states;

Some of the most self-righteous moralists and vilest offenders have sought and found Almighty God’s pardon and righteousness that is found ONLY in the Person of His Son Jesus Christ, God’s Lamb!

All Have Sinned – All have missed the mark and fallen short of the God’s perfect standard, His glory (Romans 3:23)

All Have Trespassed – All have violated or trespassed against Almighty God’s Eternal Absolutes and Laws, i.e, Spiritual and Natural Moral Laws. (Isaiah 59:2, Eph 1:7, 2:1-10, Col :2:13)

All Have Unrighteous Imperfections – All have that which is flawed, marred, imperfect (incomplete), and lacking due to our fallen human inheritance from Adam that is contrary to God’s perfect design for His creation. (Job 13:23, 14:4, Psalm 51:5, Is 64:6)

All Need God’s Remedy – All need The Blood of the Lamb! The Person and Work of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 1:7; 2:23; Col. 1:14,20; 1 Peter 1:2,18,19)

My friend, only in and by the Blood of the Lamb (Christ), can a man or woman be cleansed and be made whole. In the Lamb of God is found Almighty God’s pardon and propitiation to meet God’s righteous demands (Lev 17:11; Romans 10:4; 1 Corinthians 1:30; Eph 1:7; Col 1:14, 20; 1 John 2:2).

Sin is the cause, Christ is the cure, let the blood of the Lamb wash you pure!

Do you know the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s perfect Lamb? Have you been washed in the Blood of the Lamb? Have your trespasses (sins) against the righteousness of Almighty God been completely pardoned and forgiven? Christ - God's Lamb - shed His blood on the cross for the sins of the whole world! For you... for me... If you know Him not, may you place your trust in Him today. He has NEVER turned anyone away! Almighty God’s great desire is to wash you pure and to bring you unto Himself to enjoy FOREVER in RIGHTEOUSNESS! My friend place your faith and trust in Almighty God’s Savior, The Lord Jesus Christ today. He will pardon you and make you whole. Why not trust Him today? Why put off and ignore Almighty god's wondrous love for you. Your life will NEVER be the same! NEVER! And you will NEVER regret making that life-changing decision. Sin is the cause, Christ is the cure, let the blood of the Lamb wash you pure! (Col 1:14, 20)

Ye Are Of Your Father

Lucifer's offspring (children) abound everywhere today throughout the world (conservative and liberal). They have joined him in his delusional rebellion and have reject REALITY and Divine TRUTH (Matt. 23:33, John 3:19-21, 8:44, Rom. 1:18-32, 2 Cor. 4:3-4, Eph. 2:1-2). Here in America we can see his delusional children in the American Mainstream Media, Conservative media, Washington, local principalities, in society, in "churches" and in Hollywood, etc. They unknowingly do his will. He knows how to maneuver and appeal to our carnal (fleshly) fallen nature (Jude 1:10), which is governed by the five physical senses (sight, smell, taste, touch and hearing). The secular liberal mindset is the most open to Satan's suggestions for a Godless trend-setting agenda. They do his will quite readily because they are the most susceptible to this kind of influence (1 Tim 4:1-3; 2 Tim. 3:1-7; 2 Thess. 2:10-12). The conservative mind is no different, but harder to manipulate do to their adherence to Almighty God's moral absolutes. Conservatism without redemptive reality is moral suicide (Eph. 2:8-9). Conservatives are the hardest group to convey the dire need for salvation in Christ for the forgiveness of sins to (Rom. 10:2-4). Whoever the individual may be - conservative, liberal or progressive - when they reject Almighty God's ETERNAL plan of redemption for their lost estate, they openly join themselves  in Lucifer's rebellion against the ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS ABSOLUTES of Almighty God and are indeed his offspring of lawlessness (John 8:44).

As these days are coming to a great climax called the Tribulation, a period of lawlessness and the Day of Almighty God’s wrath, expect the lawless activity of godless men and women to intensify at "breakneck" speeds (Matt. 24; 2 Tim. 3:1-7). Lucifer's children whether conservative, liberal or progressive will continue to be used and manipulated to Satan for his own diabolical agenda. He has zero love for them and will discard them in a moment if it furthers his delusional godless exaltation over Almighty God. His children will join him FOREVER in HELL as rebellious lawless followers of his lawless rebellion. Today's children of Lucifer are honoring his will in an unbelieving state all the while oblivious and in darkness to the reality and truth of who their father truly is (John. 3:19-21, 2 Cor. 4:3-4, Eph. 2:1-2).

There is only One who is completely trustworthy and true (Titus 1:2; Heb. 6:18). There is only One who is worthy of all praise and honor (Rev. 4:11; 5:9). There is only One who, no matter how much He is blasphemed and slandered, always will be vindicated in the endlessness of FOREVER (Isa. 45:23; Rom. 14:11; Rev. 22:1-5). Do you know the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior? In these last days MAKE SURE and CERTAIN (i.e., with no doubt whatsoever) that you truly know the One who in the end will be victorious FOREVERMORE. The Bible teaches that; "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons (children) of God, even to them that believe on his name:" John 1;12.

May that be your sincere desire, to repent of your transgression against Almighty God and cry out for Him to save you (Acts 4:12, 16:28-31). In doing so you will be delivered from Satan's dominance of death over you and have ETERNAL Life (Heb. 2:14-15).

The Messiah in Yom Kippur

Believers in Messiah know that Yeshua (Jesus) has provided our atonement: “for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus” (Rom. 3:23-24). God presented Him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in His blood. Yeshua's (Jesus') death surpasses and replaces the atonement ritual of the Jewish Temple. The book of Hebrews explains the ceremonies of the Day of Atonement as a pattern of the atoning work of Messiah. Yeshua (Jesus) is our high priest, and His blood shed on Calvary is seen as symbolized in the blood of bulls and goats. As the high priest of the Old Testament entered the Holy of Holies with the blood of his sacrificial victim, so Jesus entered heaven itself to appear before the Father on behalf of His people (Heb. 9:11-12) (Killian n.d.).

The Old Testament tabernacle was designed, in part, to teach Israel that sin hindered access to the presence of God. Only the high priest, and he only once a year, could enter the Holy of Holies, and then not without taking blood offered to atone for sins (Heb. 9:7). Hebrews notes that the levitical offerings could effect only the purification of the flesh. They ceremonially cleansed the sinner, but they could not bring about inward cleansing, the prerequisite for fellowship with God. Just as the high priest had to be sinless to enter the Holy of Holies and live, so Yeshua had to be sinless to live after He entered the grave.

But Messiah being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Messiah, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God (Heb. 9:11-14).

The high priest had to offer sin offerings each year for his own sins and the sins of the people. This annual repetition of the sacrifices served as a reminder that perfect atonement had not yet been provided. Jesus, however, through His own blood effected eternal redemption for His people (Heb. 9:12).

The Old Testament offerings served as a pattern and a prophecy of Yeshua (Jesus), who, through His better sacrifice, cleanses the conscience from dead works (Heb. 9:13-14). God always determined what was an acceptable offering and what was not. He finally provided His Son, the Lamb of God, as the sacrifice for the sins of the world (John 1:19; 3:16). The moment Yeshua died, the veil of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom (Matt. 27:50-51). The earth quaked beneath men’s feet. This event is important because it established Jesus as being the new High Priest and Lamb of God. No longer must there be an annual sacrifice for sin on our behalf; instead, He has made payment for us once and for all. Yeshua (Jesus), through a new and living way has entered heaven itself, the true Holy of Holies, where He ever lives to make intercession for His people. The believer need not stand afar off, as did the Israelite of old, but may now through Messiah approach the very Throne of Grace! Yes, it is now possible for each of us to have direct access to God through the blood of Yeshua HaMashiah (Jesus Christ)!

The Two Goats

After purifying the holy place and the altar of burnt offering with the mingled blood of the bullock, the High Priest went to the eastern side of the court in front of the Temple. Facing him were two identical goats. Nearby was a lottery box especially designed for this ceremony. In the box were two tablets (lots). One bore the name “For God,” the other “For azazel” (the scapegoat). The high priest shook the box and withdrew the tablets, putting one tablet in front of each goat. The goat labeled “for God” was sacrificed. The priest laid his hands upon the goat’s head labeled “for azazel” and confessed over it the sins of Israel. The scapegoat symbolically bore the sins of the nation of Israel away from the people. This goat, commonly called the scapegoat (i.e. escape goat), was then driven into the desert.In the same way Jesus was brought before Pilate and stood before the people just as He was about to be led forth, bearing the iniquities of the people. These two goats were required for one sacrifice (Lev 16:17, 21-22). Both sacrifices were fulfilled in the death and resurrection of Messiah Yeshua. How can resurrection be portrayed in a sacrifice? By using two animals, one killed, the other set free, representing Yeshua's (Jesus’) death and resurrection. And he shall take the two goats, and present them before the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the LORD, and the other lot for the scapegoat. And Aaron shall bring the goat upon which the LORD’S lot fell, and offer him for a sin offering. But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before the LORD, to make an atonement with him, and to let him go for a scapegoat into the wilderness (Lev. 16:7-10).

And he shall go out unto the altar that is before the LORD, and make an atonement for it; and shall take of the blood of the bullock, and of the blood of the goat, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about. And the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness (Lev. 16:18, 22).

Tradition states that a cord of red wool was tied on the horn of the scapegoat, before it was let go in the wilderness. When the red wool turned white, it was a sign that God forgave the people’s sin. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool (Isa. 1:18).

The Priests used to bind a shining crimson strip of cloth on the outside door of the Temple. If the strip of cloth turned into the white color, they would rejoice; if it did not turn white they were full of sorrow and shame (Tractate Yoma 67a). Jewish literature explains the Shekhina glory of God left the Temple forty years prior to its destruction. Three signs occurred to show evidence of this:

1.) The western candle of the menorah refused to burn continually.

3.) The red wool no longer turned white supernaturally.

This is especially significant because it indicated that God was no longer forgiving the sins of His people. The people were sorrowful because they began to realize more and more that the sacrifice of Yom Kippur did not have the power to cleanse their sinful hearts. That very year Messiah Jesus started His ministry, the very year that the blood of bulls and goats was no longer accepted as a sacrifice for the atonement of sin!

The Second Coming or Judgment?

The entire ten days from the first day of the Feast of Trumpets through the Day of Atonement are known as Days of Repentance or Days of Awe. These days are possibly a picture of the Rapture (Feast of Trumpets), the Tribulation (days in between), and the second coming (Day of Atonement). Another theory claims these are a picture of the Second Coming (Feast of Trumpets), the Judgment (Day of Atonement). Second Coming?

Our Messiah made two promises before He returned to our Father. He would send the Comforter (Pentecost) and He would come again. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also (John 14:3). The Day of Atonement just may be the day of the Second Coming when Jesus will physically return to earth! The Bible clearly states Jesus will return immediately after the great tribulation. But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give its light, and the stars will be falling from heaven, and the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory (Mark 13:24-26).

Day of Judgment?

The apostle Peter wrote about this awesome day of judgment. He declared, “But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming.”

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness (2 Peter 3:10-13).

When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world (Matt. 25:31-34).

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad (2 Cor. 5:10).

In the coming judgment, there is forgiveness and mercy and grace to those who have already received Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, Who gave His life as a ransom for us! Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God (Rom. 5:1-2).
