The Shock and Awe That Is To Come!

Today, as the global events and the godless out workings of base (corrupt) man continue at a “breakneck” speed, the stage is being set for the horrific events on the horizon called “The Tribulation Period”, or “The Day of the Lord” (Matt. 24:21-22). The entire world - including America - will be absolutely oblivious to the realities and dire consequences of events to unfold during that time. Ever since the civilization of Babel (Gen. 11:1-9), the world has basically lived in a godless delusion of apathy and subjective narcissism. They have willfully rejected the ETERNAL ordinances of Almighty God and their ultimate accountability to Him. As the terrible calamity of 9-11 overtook, shocked and stunned our nation 10 YEARS AGO, so also will be the commencement of horrific events that are due to transpire in that terrible time called “The Day of the Lord.”

As the terrible calamity of 9-11 overtook, shocked and stunned our nation, so also will be the commencement of horrific events that are due to transpire in that terrible time called “The Day of the Lord.

One of the most sobering passages in the Holy Scripture is from the Book of Proverbs in chapter 1, verses 24-31. This passage speaks about those who willingly reject reality and live in a spiritually/ mentally drunken delusion (Rev. 17:2). When evil and anguish come upon these individuals, they are in a total panic because they have rejected absolutes (reality) and truth (wisdom). The consequences of these actions will be their SWIFT DESTRUCTION on account of their doings. God’s Word States:
.
"Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind (a powerful tornado); when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices" (Proverbs 1:24-31).

So will be the mindset of those during the time when the Day of the Lord commences. These will seek Almighty God to render a godless remedy and an unrighteous solution for their consequences and global dilemmas. What is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING is that in that day of their dire calamity they will STILL REJECT Almighty God’s ETERNAL absolutes, solutions and deliverance (2 Thess. 2:8-12, Rev. 9:20-21). These individuals have ZERO heart for the absolute truths and realities of time and ETERNITY which are critical for their ETERNAL well being. They are poisoned with unbelief and godless bitterness; filled with violence and rage. They posses only a godless, monkey-fisted nature rooted in delusion, lust and visions of a temporal (earthly) habitation. They are oblivious to their ETERNAL destiny and WILL NOT repent of their godless transgression and be saved, even after all these horrific tribulation events transpire on the earth. (Isa 24; John 3:17-19; 2 Thess. 2:11-12; Rev. 9:20-21; 16:9).

The shock and awe of the Four Horsemen will awaken the world that the Day of the Lord is finally here!

The shock and awe of the Four Horsemen will awaken the world that the Day of the Lord is finally here (Rev. 6)! As a thief in the night they will ride onto the world stage and ravish and overtake a godless sleeping world (1 Thess. 5:4-11). For as a mighty flood in the night, the world's inhabitant will be swept away in panic, violence and fear; oblivious how to react and what to do. For these have REJECTED Almighty God's warnings and revelations which have gone out from His People and His Word for centuries!

As the days grow darker and the majority of Americans and the world REJECT Almighty God's WARNING, may YOU have an ear to hear what Almighty God testifies to you through His INFALLIBLE Word (Rev. 22:16-21).

The Kingdom of Heaven is TRULY at hand!

Libya and the Anti Christ

It will be after the near destruction of this Islamic confederacy under Gog of Magog (Russia) that an old world leader will now be the new world leader (Rev. 17:8-11). He will step onto the stage, he who is the very one which Satan has been waiting to establish since the tower of Babel (Gen. 11:1-8, Dan. 7:8-28, 11:36-45, Matt. 24:15, 2 Thess. 2:2-4, Rev. 13). After the SUPERNATURAL and wondrous victory over Gog by Almighty God on Israel’s behalf (Ezek. 38:17-23, 39:1-7), God will now remove Israel’s protective hedge. As Israel enjoyed a brief time of prosperity, security and temporal peace which they brought about for themselves by eliminating their border enemies (Ezek. 38:8), they will now be exposed to the demonic and human rage of a fallen sin ravished world (Rev. 12). For EVEN when they were under the 3 ½ year SUPER NATURAL ministry of Almighty God’s Two Witnesses the majority of Israel would NOT repent nor prepare for the soon coming King and the Kingdom of Heaven (Rev. 11:2-5). Sadly, the only thing left now for Israel is Divine judgment and GREAT tribulation. This time as foretold by the prophet Jeremiah is now at hand. It is called the time of Jacob’s trouble (Dan. 9: 26-27, Jer. 30:7, Matt. 24:15-20, Rev. 12).

Those that remain of Libya from the Gog and Magog battle will be one of the Beast’s (anti Christ’s) chief minions and zealous to do his will even unto the battle of Armageddon.

As the anti Christ rises to TOTAL GLOBAL DESPOTIC rule and slays the Two Witnesses of Almighty God (Rev. 11:2-13) he will establish his new world order called 666 and dominate the world for the remaining 3 1/2 years of the tribulation period (Rev. 13). The world’s remaining nations will fully give their whole hearted support to him including Libya (Dan.7: 8-28, Rev. 17:8-16) and he will seek with all of his being - under the demonic and satanic rage of Lucifer - to obliterate Israel before the Second Coming of the King of kings, the Lord Jesus Christ (Zech. 12:2-3, 14:1-4, Rev. 12, 13).

Those that remain of Libya from the Gog and Magog battle will fully give their allegiance to the anti Christ and be one of the Beast’s (anti Christ’s) chief ruling minions. Libya will at this time be zealous to do the anti Christ's will even unto the battle of Armageddon (Dan. 11:40-43, Zech 14:1-4, Rev. 16:13-16, 17:12-13).

The Day is at hand and what can ever stop those things which must be!

The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!

God’s People and the Future of Egypt

Riots erupted in Egypt in January, an explosion of popular anger that seemed to have little warning. Protesters demanded the ouster of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, demanding a new government that would address issues of police brutality, free elections, political corruption, and a stagnant economy. Believers who watched the news unfold considered Egypt’s place in Bible prophecy and its relation to the nation Israel.

I will not soon forget that hot Egyptian afternoon, Aug. 5, 1952, when I climbed 450 feet to the top of the Great Pyramid of Cheops at Giza. How did this wonder of the ancient world get there?

Two-and-a-half millennia before Christ, tens of thousands of workers spent more than 20 years gathering 2.3 million blocks of stone—some weighing up to 15 tons—on a base covering 13.1 acres to prepare an eternal home for their Pharaoh-god.

What brilliance this took! What dedication! Remember, this was not long after the dispersion of mankind from the Tower of Babel, when the Egyptians demonstrated their amazing building skills along the Nile River.

Intertwined with Israel

Two hundred years after Abraham visited Egypt (Genesis 12:10–20), Jacob and his sons—especially Joseph—must have marveled at the things they saw there (c. 1875 BC; Genesis 36—50).

But the day came (in 1445 BC) when Egypt was in shambles because of her enslavement and mistreatment of God’s people Israel (Exodus 7—11).

Even though “Solomon made a treaty with Pharaoh king of Egypt, and married Pharaoh’s daughter” (1 Kings 3:1), Egypt remained a threat to the people of Israel through the centuries.

The great prophet Isaiah cried out, “Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, and rely on horses, who trust in chariots because they are many, and in horsemen because they are very strong, but who do not look to the Holy One of Israel, nor seek the Lord!” (Isaiah 31:1).

Destined for Destruction

At the time of this writing, the land of Egypt is in turmoil. The people of Israel are afraid that radical forces will take control of Egypt and attack them.

This could happen at any time; but the book of Daniel actually tells of a final attack that will occur during the Great Tribulation—which is the next significant period of Bible prophecy.

About three years after the true church has been removed from the earth, “at the time of the end the king of the South [Egypt] shall attack him [the Antichrist in Jerusalem]” (Daniel 11:40).

However, at the same time, the king of the North (perhaps Russia) will attack the Antichrist, kill him (Daniel 11:40, 41; cf. Revelation 13:14), and then move south.

“He [the king of the North] shall stretch out his hand against the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape. He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt” (Daniel 11:42, 43).

Forty-two months later, Jesus Christ, the King of Kings, will descend from Heaven and take over all the kingdoms of the world—including Egypt (Revelation 19:11–21).

Ezekiel prophesied, “I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate; and . . . her cities shall be desolate forty years; and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations and disperse them throughout the countries. Yet, thus says the Lord God: At the end of forty years I will gather the Egyptians from the peoples among whom they were scattered . . . to the land of their origin, and there they shall be a lowly kingdom” (Ezekiel 29:12–14).

Spiritual Transformation Awaits

Finally, when the Kingdom of Christ is established upon the earth, the people of Egypt will join the peoples of all the nations to worship the God of Israel.

“In that day there will be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to the Lord at its border. And it will be for a sign and for a witness to the Lord of hosts in the land of Egypt; . . . and He will send them a Savior and a Mighty One, and He will deliver them. Then the Lord will be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians will know the Lord in that day, and will make sacrifice and offering; yes, they will make a vow to the Lord and perform it. . . . In that day . . . the Lord of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed is Egypt My people . . . and Israel My inheritance” (Isaiah 19:19–25; cf. Genesis 15:18; Zechariah 14:18, 19).

How amazing are the judgments and mercies of God! In spite of all that Egypt has done and will do to hurt Israel, and in spite of all that Israel has done and will do to hurt their Lord, He remains faithful to His promises and true to His Word.

Especially—and urgently—essential for both Israel and Egypt in the meantime today is this Word from Heaven: “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

Who Are The 24 Elders of Revelation?

One of the most misinterpreted passages found in the Holy Scripture relates to the question: “Who are the 24 Elders of Revelation?

”There are many different answers and voices from many so-called "Biblical and Christian scholars" seeking to interpret the identity of these “24 Elders” standing before Almighty God in the very Throne Room of Heaven, as described in the Book of Revelation. Many seek to spiritualize or allegorize who these beings are by inserting outside spiritual philosophies or dogmas to make their teachings fit into the context. My friend, this is not how one interprets key truths of God’s Holy Word.

This audio study by GFP I.F. digs deep into the depths of Holy Scripture to mine - not undermine - golden nuggets of truth and precious promises found only in God’s Word. In seeking to put these wonderful truths together and into practice, it is helpful to remember that:"

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost" (1 Peter 1:20-21).

God's Word provides the true interpretation, and as we let the Holy Spirit lead us, He will reveal to us wonderful truths and give us correct understanding.

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come (John 16:13).

May your heart be blessed and encouraged by this insightful message of things that will soon come to pass in due course of prophetic events. Stay tuned to the heavenly frequency!

The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!

Harold Camping's Oct. 21st Date Setting - Is Date Setting Biblical?

,

Billboards like this one have been placed throughout the nation. Harold Camping, 90 year old nationally known radio host (Family Radio) sought to predict the exact date of the Lord’s return: May 21, 2011 which failed and NEVER came to be. Well fellow seekers, here we go again... Camping now is again predicting that the end of the world will occur this week on October 21, 2011.
.
"The Lord warned against foolish date-setting when He taught that no one knows the day or the hour of His return (Matt. 24:36)"

To the discerning believer, red flags are raised immediately. First red flag: The Lord warned against foolish date-setting when He taught that no one knows the day or the hour of His return (Matt. 24:36). Second red flag: The day of the rapture will not be a "judgment day" for the world. Rather it will be the day when the members of the body of Christ (the true church) will be caught up to meet their Lord in the air (1 Thess. 4:13-18). Third red flag: The world cannot end in 2011 because the millennial kingdom of 1000 years must run its course before this earth is destroyed (Revelation 20; 2 Peter 3).

"History has proven Camping wrong and it must have been a major national embarrassment to him! Why he would now want to be embarrassed a second time is hard to understand"

This is not the first time that Harold Camping has predicted the time of Christ’s return. His earlier false prophecy was that Jesus Christ would return on or between September 15, 1994, September 27, 1994 and May 21, 2011. History has proven Camping wrong and it must have been a major national embarrassment to him! Why he would now want to be embarrassed a second time is hard to understand. Camping failed to learn his lesson from his first failed prediction. How unwise to try to announce that which God has chosen not to reveal. God has not told us the time. He wants us to be ready always.

"How unwise to try to announce that which God has chosen not to reveal"

There have been many other date setters. Edgar Whisenant wrote a book entitled, 88 Reasons Why the Rapture Could Be in 1988. Of course, the Lord did not come in 1988 so he presented his new theory: 89 Reasons Why the Rapture Will Take Place in 1989. Someone humorously surmised that the added reason given in the new book might be this: "Reason #89—Because He did not come in 1988." Jehovah’s Witnesses taught that the second coming of Christ took place in 1914. Other cults have likewise engaged in date-setting. --George Zeller

Is Date Setting Biblical?

By Dr. Manfred Kober

Harold Camping, owner of Family Radio Network, claims, "God has led us in these last days to discover Biblical evidence that judgment day for the unbelievers and the rapture of believers will occur on May 21, 2011." (FRN Pocket Calendar for 2009)
,
Hundreds of previous dates set for the return of the Lord and the end of the world were erroneous predictions uttered by false prophets. Date setting is unbiblical. Below are some reasons why it is dangerous and wrong.

1. It disregards the fact that all previous date-setting attempts were doomed to failure. Rather than repenting, most erring date setters just recalculate and recalibrate. When Edgar Whisenant s book, 88 Reasons Why the Rapture Will Be In 88, turned out to be a false prophecy, he promptly suggested 89 reasons why the rapture would be in 1989. Camping’s publication, 1994?, failed to come true but he is now certain that the rapture will be on May 21 of this year.

2. It disobeys the injunction from Christ to refrain from unwarranted speculation. A hundred years ago, Sir Robert Anderson, chief of Criminal Investigation for Scotland Yard, and great theologian, said of date setters: "They have brought reproach on Scripture itself, and have given a stimulus to the jaunty skepticism of the day. We might have hoped that whatever else might be forgotten, the last words which the Lord Jesus spoke on earth would not be thus thrust aside: ‘It is not for you to know the times nor the seasons which the Father has put in his own power’ (Acts 1:7)...the result has been that the blessed hope of the Lord’s return has been degraded to the level of predictions of astrologers, to the confusion and grief of faithful hearts and the amusement of the world" (The Coming Prince, 11th ed., 132).

3. It delves into areas of privileged knowledge that only belongs to God. Christian psychiatrist O. Quentin Hyder warns believers, "God has not given us knowledge of the future nor the ability to obtain it. In this dispensation we are limited in knowledge but expected to live by faith. One day we shall know even as we are known. Craving for knowledge of the future is absolutely contrary to God’s will for man and therefore any attempt to obtain it is devil inspired and eventually damaging or even destructive to all who pursue it." (The Christian’s Handbook of Psychiatry [1971], 75-76).

4. It discounts the fact that even secular predictions are totally inaccurate and impossible. Who in the summer of 1989 would have predicted the collapse of the Iron Curtain on November 9 of that year? Who predicted the ouster of Egyptian President Mubarak a week before it happened in February 2011?

5. It destroys the concept of imminence, namely, that Christ could return at any moment. Camping’s insistence on a May 21 rapture means that the Lord cannot return today. Yet we are to look daily and hourly for His coming. In Titus 2:13 Paul literally says the we are "excitedly expecting continually the joyous prospect" of Christ’s glorious appearing.

6. It displays a certain arrogance of the date setter by suggesting a novel interpretation hidden from everyone else. Date setters claim to have special insights. Camping observes that previous speculators were wrong because "they did not base their conclusion upon a careful analysis of everything the Bible had to say about the return of Christ." (We Are Almost There, 18) As for himself, Camping says, "We indeed can be certain that the rapture will occur on May 21, 2011 and the final day of the history of the world is October 21, 2011" (Ibid. 63, emphasis in the original).

7. It distorts genuine interpretation and holds all legitimate teachers of prophecy up to ridicule. Camping’s sensational warning has appeared on many billboards: Judgment Day-May 21, 2011-The Bible Guarantees It. The news media are ridiculing these precipitous predictions. After May 21 skeptics will point out that Camping s claim that the Bible guarantees his view implies that the Bible cannot be trusted. Unfortunately, doctrinal error seldom stands by itself. Harold Camping s horrible and heretical hermeneutics also lead him to insist that the church age ended in 1988, that there is no millennial rule of Christ, and that all the wicked will be annihilated rather than suffer everlasting punishment in hell.

8. It disseminates its error with missionary zeal and thus influences others to be heretical. Untold harm is done to immature and young Christians! What will the life of Camping s followers and employees be like when the Rapture does not occur on May 21? What of their witness to their neighbors or their credibility and usefulness in any future ministry?

Conclusion: Rather than engaging in speculation and sensationalism, the believer is characterized by a. Eager anticipation (Tit. 2:13, "excitedly expecting..." b. Energized activity (Lk. 19:10, "occupy till I come") c. Extraordinary alertness (2 Thess. 2:13, "Let no man deceive you. . .") May this be our concern until the trumpet sounds and summons us into the presence of the Saviour!

The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!
