Beloved, the ETERNAL greatest gift God has ever given us is not simply His blessings; it is His own beloved, precious Son, where all ETERNAL fullness, glory, wisdom, power, grace, and blessing are found in RIGHTEOUSNESS.

As we walk with our precious Jesus each day, His Word and Person become more and more precious to us because it reveals the true beauty of His heart, His faithfulness, and His EVERLASTING agape love. Like the psalmist, as we learn to delight in His Word and Person and apply it in our pilgrim lives, we come to personally know and experience our precious Lord's heart more intimately and deeply (Psalm 119).

Our Good and Faithful Shepherd never withholds what is truly good for His children. He lovingly gives us grace for today, strength for every trial, wisdom for every decision, and hope for every tomorrow. Above all, He has freely given Himself to us to be our precious treasure and heart's desire and love.

The more we abide in Christ, the more we discover that He is our greatest treasure. His presence alone satisfies our weary hearts far more than anything this world can ever offer.

My Precious Lord is more than a song; it is the joyful confession of a surrendered abiding heart that has found its greatest delight in Jesus Christ, their Lord and Savior.

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for giving me Your precious Beloved Son. Help me, dear Lord, to delight in You above everything else and to treasure Your presence more than the passing things of this fallen, dying world of ETERNAL vanity.

Thank You for being my faithful, precious Shepherd who never withholds what is truly good from me. Continue to disciple my heart, strengthen my faith, and help me abide in Your agape love. May my life continually declare that You, Lord Jesus, are my greatest treasure.

Beloved, it is no secret that this pilgrim life is filled with many giants. We face life's trials, temptations, fears, suffering, loss, and spiritual battles that seem far greater than our own strength. Yet the Bible continually reminds us that our hope is never to be found in ourselves; it is ONLY to be found in Almighty God, our ETERNAL Slayer of Giants.

The same God who delivered David from Goliath is still the ETERNAL Slayer of Giants of today. He is the ETERNAL Lord of Hosts (Armies), our ETERNAL refuge, our ETERNAL strength, and our precious Faithful Shepherd who lives in us and walks with us through every battle that this pilgrim life throws at us. His ETERNAL presence gives us great confidence and courage because He has promised to NEVER leave us nor forsake us, and His ETERNAL victory strengthens our hearts because none can FOREVER stand before Him (Rev. 4-5).

The greatest giants that God's people will ever have to face are sin, the world, death, the grave, and Satan. Through Jesus' cross and glorious resurrection, Jesus has absolutely conquered them all FOREVER. He indeed is the ETERNAL Mighty Conquering Savior and lover of our very souls. Beloved, He is indeed our ETERNAL victorious Lord and King who reigns ETERNALLY in all power and might and who can EVER stand before Him. Because we are in Christ, we can face every trial by faith, knowing that nothing is greater than our God. He ETERNALLY stands alone victorious and uncontested.

Whatever giant stands before you today, remember that it stands before Almighty God first. He is working through every battle to strengthen your faith, display His glory, and draw you closer to Himself in His perfect agape love.

Our confidence is not in the size of our faith, but in the greatness of our God.

He is indeed our ETERNAL Slayer of Giants, our ETERNAL Deliverer, our ETERNAL Defender, and the Savior of our souls. Beloved, how wonderful is that (Rev. 1:17-18)!

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for being my ETERNAL Slayer of Giants. Thank You that no battle is too great for You and no trial is beyond Your ETERNAL sovereign care. Help me, my precious Savior, to keep my eyes fixed on Your ETERNAL greatness rather than on the giants before me that scare and frighten me.

Strengthen my faith to trust in Your ETERNAL promises, walk in Your ETERNAL presence, and rest in Your perfect ETERNAL will. Thank You that through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, You have destroyed, obliterated, and conquered sin, death, and Satan FOREVER.

As I abide in You, continue to disciple and quiet my heart and remind me that You are ALWAYS with me. May my life boldly proclaim that You alone are my Deliverer, my Defender, my Slayer of Giants and the ETERNAL Savior of my soul.

When Jesus called Peter and Andrew, He gave them a simple invitation:

"Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men." (Mark 1:17)

Beloved, from that day on, they left their nets and followed their Good Shepherd, not looking back. Jesus then began to disciple them, transform them, work through them, and after the cross Jesus used them to proclaim His ETERNAL Gospel for His ETERNAL glory to a lost and dying world.

That same call is for every blood-bought believer today in Jesus Christ, but how many are willing to leave their nets and follow Him? But tragically, not many

When we trust Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are called not only to believe in Him but to follow Him wholeheartedly for His ETERNAL glory and honor. As we abide in Christ, He faithfully shapes our hearts and leads us by His Spirit and His Word in His chosen paths of RIGHTEOUSNESS for His Great Name's sake. Beloved, Jesus' abiding presence is always with us as we share the ETERNAL hope of the cross to this fallen world, which it calls foolishness. For it was on the cross that Jesus' RIGHTEOUS blood was shed, completing the work redeptive work of God. Finally, Jesus' glorious resurrection from the dead freely justified all who place their ETERNAL trust in Him! It is of these ETERNALLY redeemed of the Lord who are now called to leave their nets and follow Him!

Almighty God delights in using ordinary people who have surrendered their lives to Him for His ETERNAL honor and glory. Our strength is not enough, but His grace and power working through us make us useful vessels for His kingdom. As we walk and abide with Him, we will begin to see how precious He truly is and how wondrous and powerful His foolish cross truly is that He has called us to proclaim to this deceived and dying lost world.

The question is simple, my beloved:

Will you leave your nets and follow Jesus? Not as easy as it is asked, is it?

Many today in our last-days world call themselves Christians, but beloved, Jesus calls us to be His learners, His fishers of men, to live under His Yoke, to pick up our cross, to be crucified with Him and to be His abiding disciples who trust Him wholeheartedly, obey Him fully, and follow Him wherever He leads. God help us, dear friends, as we walk with our Faithful and Good Shepherd in His grace and mercy for His ETERNAL glory. Beloved, there is no greater calling in all ETERNITY than to be His fishers of men. Will you leave your nets and follow? Dear friend, if you do, you will NEVER be the same!

Victory in the Fray

Beloved, every child of God faces battles in this pilgrim life. We face and experience demonic powers, spiritual warfare, trials, suffering, disappointments, the floods of life, and the battles of our own heart. Yet Almighty God's Word consistently reminds us that our victory is not determined by our circumstances; it is determined by our position in Jesus Christ, who is our ETERNAL victor (Rev. 5).

The New Testament repeatedly speaks of God's blood-bought children being "in Christ (2 Cor. 5:17). Being "in" Christ is mentioned some 180 times in the New Testament, and Paul spoke of it 145 times! Beloved, that is absolutely astounding and should speak volumes to our hearts about our position in our victorious Jesus (Eph. 1-2). Through faith, we have been united with Him, raised with Him, and seated with Him in the heavenly places (Psalm 110:1, Ephesians 2:6, Col. 3:1-4). Beloved, we belong to Christ and are in Him; we do not fight for victory; we fight from the position of victory, which is His ETERNAL victory, for He is our ETERNAL Victory! Jesus has ETERNALLY won the battle over sin, the grave and death, and has absolutely destroyed and decimated all opponents at the cross (John 19:30, Rev. 1:17-18, Rev. 5)

Beloved, Almighty God has not called us to be Satan's slaves of fear or for us to live as cowards and victims of this fallen world. No beloved! Our ETERNAL Victor has called us out of this world to live victoriously in Him as Jesus' ETERNAL victors for His ETERNAL honor and glory!

Beloved, our strength is not found in ourselves, God forbid! Our strength and power are found alone in Jesus, the Messiah, and in the ETERNAL power of His might (Ephesians 3:20-21; 6:10-20). Our dear Lord lovingly equips us with the whole armor of God so that we can stand firm against the enemy's attacks; He has also provided us the fruit of His Spirit that we in the fray of life may reflect and manifest His ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS attributes to this lost world as well. As we trust His promises, abide in His Word, and walk by faith, He strengthens us to overcome every battle for His honor and glory in truth and victory.

The world tells us to define ourselves by our failures, fears, and problems. Almighty God's Word tells us to define ourselves by who we are in Christ.

When fear comes, remember His ETERNAL unchangeable promises!

When temptation comes, stand in His ETERNAL strength!

When suffering comes, trust in His ETERNAL faithfulness!

When the battle grows fierce, remember that "He who is in you is ETERNALLY greater than he who is in the doomed, condemned, fallen world." (1 John 4:4)

Our ETERNAL victory rests in Jesus Christ alone, my beloved. One day every battle will end, one day every tear will be wiped away, and one day we will stand with our victorious precious Savior and reign with Him FOREVERMORE. Until that day, we press on in faith, we hold the fort, we fight the good fight, we gird up our lions, we cowboy up, we play the man, for we are clothed in His armor, resting in His amazing grace, and continually rejoicing that "this is the victory that has overcome the world, our faith in our ETERNAL Victor." (1 John 5:4)

No matter what battle you face today, beloved, lift your eyes to Christ. Your identity is not found in your problems but in God’s ETERNAL promises for you in Christ. You are His beloved child, and in Him you have Victory in the Fray!

Heavenly Father,

Thank You that my victory is found in Jesus Christ and not in my own strength. Thank You that You have united me with Your own dear precious Son, who has seated me with Him at the Right Hand of God the Father, and filled my pilgrim life with Your amazing grace, mercy, and power.

When the battles of life come, help me to remember who I am in Christ. Teach me to put on the whole armor of God each day, to stand on Your promises, and to walk by faith instead of fear. Guard my heart from believing the world's lies, and remind me that my identity is found in Your unchanging agape love and unchangeable truth.

Lord Jesus, thank You for defeating sin, death, and Satan through Your cross and resurrection. Strengthen me through Your Holy Spirit to remain faithful until the day I see You face to face. May my life reflect the confidence, peace, and hope of one who already shares in Your ETERNAL victory.

Help me live today, not as a victim, but as Your faithful disciple and victor, bringing glory to Your wonderful name.

Beloved, throughout every season of this pilgrim life, there is a still small voice calling to our hearts and leading us ever home to be FOREVER with our precious Jesus.

In a world filled with superabounding noise, clutter, uncertainty, fear, and countless competing voices, there is One voice that NEVER changes: the precious voice of our Good and Faithful Shepherd.

Jesus said, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." (John 10:27)

His voice is not harsh or distant. It is tender, faithful, comforting, and full of ETERNAL truth. He lovingly calls His children to trust Him, follow Him, take His yoke and rest in His tender, all-knowing care. Like a shepherd leading his sheep beside still waters and through dark valleys, He continually guides us with perfect wisdom and unwavering agape love (Psalm 23).

Beloved, as His blood-bought believers, we are not walking through this pilgrim life alone. We are continually united with Christ and seated with Him in the heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6, Col. 3:1-4). From that secure position of grace, our Faithful Shepherd is continually discipling our hearts through His Word and by His Holy Spirit, conforming us into His image until He comes and we are changed FOREVERMORE (Romans 8:29; Philippians 2:13, 1 John 3:1-4)!

When fear whispers, His voice says,
"Fear not."

When uncertainty surrounds us, His voice says,
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart." (Proverbs 3:5–6)

When we feel weak, His voice reminds us,
"Be strong and courageous...for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9)

When we wonder if we are alone, His promise remains,
"I am with you always, to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:20)

The Christian discipleship life is not merely following rules; it is abiding and walking daily with our Faithful Shepherd who knows every need before we can ever do. As we abide in Jesus, His gentle voice continually shapes our thoughts, our desires, and our steps. He is our precious and faithful Potter, and we are His redeemed clay. His agape-loving discipline, encouragement, and guidance are all expressions of His faithful Shepherd's heart. Be not afraid, be strong and of good courage and follow Him!

There truly is a Voice.

It is His voice that called us to salvation.
It is His voice that comforts us in sorrow.
It is His voice that corrects us in love.
It is His voice that leads us in righteousness.
It is His voice that one day will call us home.

Beloved, may we quiet our hearts before Him, open His Word, and joyfully follow wherever our Good and Faithful Shepherd leads. Beloved, do you know His precious promises? Can you hear His tender, calm voice? Be not afraid, be of good courage and follow Him.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Help me, dear Lord, to hear Your still small voice in all my ways; lead me in Your paths of RIGHTEOUSNESS for Your great Name's sake and for Your ETERNAL glory. Thank you that You are my Faithful Good Shepherd, Lord Jesus; I agape love You and look for Your return daily.

What Man Is This? Unto the Chief Musician Music Song Devotion

What Man Is This?

DEVOTIONAL

"What man is this?" That question echoes through the darkest day in human history. Who is this Man who willingly bears the cross? Who is this Man who suffers though He is innocent? Who is this Man whom heaven and earth seem to mourn?

The answer is not one of pity, but of worship.

This is Jesus Christ, the ETERNAL Son of God, the spotless Lamb, who laid down His life willingly for you and me (John 10:17–18). He did not die because evil overpowered Him. He died because of His ETERNAL love and God's perfect plan of redemption (John 3:16; Romans 5:8).

As darkness covered the land and hope seemed buried in the tomb, it appeared that death had won. The disciples were scattered. The world was silent. Yet God was accomplishing His greatest victory.

On the third day, Jesus Christ rose from the grave! Death was conquered. Sin was defeated. Satan's power was broken. The tomb could not hold the Author of Life (Acts 2:24). He is alive FOREVERMORE and holds the keys of death and Hades (Revelation 1:17–18).

So when we ask, "What Man is this?" Scripture gives a glorious answer:

He is the ETERNAL Son of God. 

He is the Lamb who was slain.
He is the risen Savior.
He is the King of kings and Lord of lords.
He is alive FOREVERMORE!

Beloved, Jesus our propitiatory Lamb went to the cross not because He had to, but because He so agape loved us with an EVERLASTING agape love. His resurrection from Sheol and the grave assures all who believe in Him that all the promises in Him are Yes and Amen! That ETERNAL forgiveness, ETERNAL life, and our blessed hope are all found in His Person and work alone.

"What Man Is This?" The answer is the greatest proclamation in history: Jesus Christ is risen indeed! He is alive FOREVERMORE, and because He lives, all who have placed their trust in Him have ETERNAL forgiveness of sin, ETERNAL security, and  ETERNAL life!

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, fully teach me the wonders and riches of Your beloved Son, my ETERNAL propitiation, Lamb, Savior, and my Life.

Just Like Thee

Beloved, as believers, our greatest hope is not simply heaven; it is our precious Jesus. While we faithfully serve Him in this present evil fallen world, our hearts groan and long for the day when our Savior will call us home. In the quiet darkness of the night, we wait with joyful expectation for the sound of the trumpet and the voice of our Lord.

Our longing is not to escape the trials of life, but to be FOREVER with Christ and to be made RIGHTEOUS, completely like Him. The Holy Spirit has placed this hope within us, causing us to groan for the day when our salvation is complete, our sinful nature is gone, and we are clothed in PERFECT RIGHTEOUSNESS FOREVERMORE.

This is our blessed hope. Christ lives in us today, and one day we will see Him face to face. How wonderful is that, my beloved! In a moment, we will be changed and FOREVER reflect the glory of our precious Savior!

Until that day, we wait with hope, walk by faith, and keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, groaning and longing to be just like Him.

Help me to patiently wait for my Savior with joy and expectation. When the days are difficult, remind me that my greatest hope is not to escape this world, but to see Jesus face to face and be changed into His likeness.

Continue Your good work in my heart until the day You call me home. Keep my eyes fixed on Jesus; my heart is longing and groaning for His appearing.

Thank You, Father, for the promise that one day the trumpet will sound, I will see my precious Savior, and I will FOREVER be just like Thee!
